Tragically, my daughters long time hamster named Pooh passed away today...since my daughter is only 2 1/2 I did not think now is the time to try to explain life and death to her...especially because we had just bought a super fancy habitat that wasnt even out of the box yet! Not to mention she has been looking forward to assembling with mommy aka me all day! I made the split decision to try to find another hamster for my dear Nycelina since we had brand new stuff anyways, so she wouldnt really know much of a difference ...or at least i prayed.. I called pet supplies plus a little over an hour before they closed to see if they had hamsters... They took the time to talk me threw there selection in regard to colors, genders, overall health, and breeds...THEY DID NOT HAVE TO DO THIS EXSPECIALLY BECAUSE IT WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A "guarentee sale!" I decided there selection was big enough and rushed over there with my little girl to hopefully get a new forever pet hamster. The staff was extremely polite my daughter and myself. They even knew who I was when I walked threw the door...and they remembered my situation and how important it was for my daughter to not be told "we buy pets here..." I wanted my Nycelina to believe in her young mind that we were simply at a Pet Salon... She was distracted by the beautiful clean fish tanks while I spent time with the hamsters choosing the best one to take home ... They allowed me to sit and play with the hamsters, they did not rush me...even though I had an estatic two year old jumping for joy while looking at the wide variety of colorful fishes... All staff that attended to my daughter and I laughed and enjoyed us being in there and didnt "pressure sell." Overall for never being in this pet store before, I give them an A+ ...courteous and friendly staff, clean store, clean pet cages, staff new what they were talking about and could answer my questions vastly....just a great pet store...they sure made my daughters VERY FIRST VISIT TO A PET STORE A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE, FOR THIS I THANK THEM!

I dont typically write reviews but I felt compelled to do so because this store is awesome. Its the employees that make this store what it is. Sure, the prices and selection is great. They carry the brand of dog food my dog eats when no other pet supply store in the area does and they have a fantastic selection of organic, high quality treats. My favorite thing about this store is how the staff remembers me and my dog every time I visit. I can go months without visiting and when I return they are always so friendly and happy to see my dog! Money was tight for me for awhile so I asked if they could price match at least 5 different items and they were happy to! Thank you pet supplies plus!

All the groomers at the shop is well-trained they are great people the staff there is friendly if you need anything just ask them and they will do a price match theres also a self Beth there which you can do with your dog and then they got a deal where you do a self bath and then you can go over to the groomers and get a nice price done for your dogs
