Id go negative stars if it were an option. Wifes phone was stolen, she went into the Cumberland store and the employee talked her our of using the insurance and instead use the available upgrade. Said it would be quicker. Now 3 months later I come to find out that I am still paying for the lost phone, plus the new phone and cant upgrade my sons phone unless I pay retail. I guess that is my fault for not checking the online statement, had I stayed with paper i would have caught it. Anyway, Store said there is nothing they can do, its past 14 days and my wife signed the contract. Doesnt matter that the employee duped her, never going here again and I advise anyone to go to a Verizon store and not an authorized retailer. Bunch of crooks looking to make a sale.

I have been researching new I5s i phones and each time they were polite and helpful but when it came time to purchase, the salesman could not reach his manager for a question of price matching and then after stating he would call me back, did not. I decided to go to the store anyway with my wife since we were going to purchase 2 phones and and we live near by. Since it was new years day I called twice to confirm what time they were open until. Both times I was told 6pm but when I arrived at 5:07pm the store was closed. I will not be back, they lost 2 sales a 2 year contract and accessories, if that is the way they are going to start the new year, good luck! Posted this review when upset, will give them one more chance, everyone deserves an second chance.

Wow! Great customer service! Wasnt expecting to be in and out and feeling confident about my purchase! I dreaded to go in to buy a new phone but turned out that it was a pleasant experience. The associate was extremely thorough and explained everything in detail. Even gave me quick tidbits to use to make my new phone user friendly for my needs. I now have "MY WIRELESS STORE" and feel the confidence of knowing I can return to them if I have any further needs. I highly recommend the Wireless Zone store in Cumberland. Nothing but professionalism at its best! WZ, Cumberland... YOU ROCK! Cant wait to get an upgrade! Feels good to be treated like a VIP!

I had an excellent experiences at the Verizon store on Mendon Road in Cumberland. I went into the store to investigate upgrading my phone. I came into the store knowing what I wanted to purchase, but the item was out of stock in that store. The two gentleman working in the store told me a few other options available, but when I said I really wanted my first choice, they offered to obtain if from another store for me that same day. I could have driven to the other store myself, but not having to do that was a huge help to me. Thank you Stephane and Ryan for the great service. I would highly recommend this store.

I went to the Mendon Road store to purchase a new Samsung phone but the color is wanted was out of stock. The sales rep Stephane ordered it for me and when I went back in to pick it up I ended up with a free tablet ($50 rebate, $10 /monthly fee). I enjoyed my experience so much that when my daughters phone broke the following week, I convinced her go there and we added her to my plan. Stephane took the time to understand my needs, my budget and made sure I was comfortable with my new devices. ..I highly recommend Verizon / Mendon Road / Stephane to anyone looking to purchase a new phone/cell plan

I have to disagree. I have done all of my business at this store after having deplorable service at the store in Smithfield. These guys take there time and make sure me and my family are getting what we want. I actually purchased a Samsung tablet from them and it did cost more than $500, but that is because Verizon only sells the 4G/WIFI model not the WIFI only model (which is probably what you purchased at Best Buy)! So if youre not looking to use the device on Verizons network then you got what you needed. These guys have earned my business and will continue to do so...thanks guys!!

Not sure about reviews from a few years ago, but this store has been awesome to me in the past year and a half. Mike Lord has been absolutely great. He has taken care of any issues Ive had and has always suggested ways to lower my monthly bill while getting better products for personal and business. You can tell he knows the business and is up to date on all the latest product lines. I think they are flexible and honest and I appreciate that. I travel from Coventry to Cumberland just to use this store.

RIPPED OFF BY THIS VERIZON LOCATION!!! NEVER SHOP HERE! I recently purchased a brand new iphone from verizon. The phone was on sale for the $149.99. As soon as I purchased the phone, they told me the tax on the phone was going to be $42 which is the full retail price of $600.00 for the phone. This is illegal in the state of Rhode Island. When we called the store, the assistant manager Ryan was extremely rude. Please never shop here for your sake.

This location is convenient if you live in the Lincoln - Cumberland area. It is a small location with basically the major flag-ship company phones, but that is all. If you are looking for mid to lower end phones, than this is not the place for you as the selection is very limited to about a dozen phones at most. The collection of accessories is decent however, with a number of cases that the main Verizon stores do not typically carry.

Customer service is horrible. I have tried to purchase a tablet there and they told me the $500 Samsung tablet would cost me$800 without a contract. I bought it at best buy for $500 and no contract. I have also tried to upgrade my phone a WEEK early and mark the so called salesman refused to sell it to me. Dont waste your time at this location your better off going anywhere else

I have been in need of urgent cell phone service a number of times in 2012. My phone stolen from my car, later a replacement fell off the roof of my car needing a new battery and lastly, months later, it died before my contract renewal. Each time the staff at this store were remarkably helpful and considerate. Every expectation I had was fulfilled. I highly recommend this store.

I come here to browse, see and feel various phones, and to buy accessories. I find it too difficult and time consuming to come here for support or major purchases. They seem to be under-staffed or something. No bike rack. Relatively easy to get here by bus as it would be a short enough walk from a stop on the number 75 route.

Absolutely AWFUL customer service. I have gone there several times, as its the closest location to me and would be out of my way to go to another location. An every single time without fail, Im in there for an hour and a half plus. They are all very rude, unhelpful and must I mention extremely slow.
