While i like to visit the food court for chick-fil-a and antonis pizza, sometimes picking up some pretzels at auntie annes and the stores i like are books-a-million and gamestop, it fails to attract new stores, while many people in the mall like the big department stores that the mall had, department stores are failing to keep up with the internet, outlets and stores like pac-sun so i am not very sad by the leaving of them. They need to attract new clothing stores as they desperately need more at this point, they need to get less generic stores as well. If you are looking for a big mall with lots of stores and people, spare your money on this mall and take a trip to robinson. If you are just looking for good food, or like shops like pac-sun, books-a-million and gamestop it is a nice stop if it is your only choice, but there are better places to shop out there.

I love this mall my parents took me there all the time when I was a child Its just sad to see the state its in now theres hardly any stores left inside. Its just funny to see that the malls replaced the mom-and-pop stores local stores in towns and now the internet is replacing the malls its a sad State of Affairs.. My children will never know the hustle and bustle of Christmas time at the Beaver Valley Mall when it was booming and all the stores were filled.. my parents would take me there and wed spend half the day there and not even see all the stores.. in my teen years when I could drive I remember going there to meet girls and walk around and go on dates.. I hope one day this mall we turned around to its Glory Days but Im afraid with computers that could never happen now.

Well, the mall is dying. There really isnt much selection, as two of the malls anchors have closed (Macys and Sears.) Yes there are a few stores that are pretty ok, but by in large it seems as though it is dying and the empty store space is not being replaced with new stores or new developments.

Only two major anchor stores (boscovs and jcpenny) with capacity for four after Macys and Sears closing recently. No designer shops or anything original. Same old expensive corporate chain stores. IE gamestop, fye, champs, pacsun, Spencers. Honestly its just old, out dated and just trashy.

Afraid that though " back in the day " malls were a great place for people to congregate and enjoy their days . Well theyre just fading away . But its still a great place to get items seen FIRST-HAND . Well, remember : when you ONLY order things UNSEEN, thats what you get : " unseen " .

While they are closing down more and more of the shops in this mall, I always get good service when I visit. My main reason for going is Planet Fitness, which is open 24 hours a day, so I rarely go inside the mall when it is open, but the last few occasions have been pleasant enough.

The Beaver Valley Mall has been dying for years. While "big box" stores are being built up around the mall area in other plazas, the mall proper has nothing in it at all. Now the Macys is closing. Ross Park Mall is really the only formal retail mall around worth much of anything.

Ive been coming to this mall since I was a child. Stores have come and gone. Some of the best still remain. Im not sure what the plans for the mall are with the cracker plant building right there but I know it is losing alot of customers. I will miss it if it closes.

This mall is ok if you need a quick outfit for your kids, a pair of shoes, or just want to walk laps. The building is in desperate need of repairs, the roof has been leaking for at least 10 years and the restrooms near the food court are in not so great shape.

A vast majority of stores are closing up and leaving this mall, because there is little business that goes through the mall. Larger malls such as Robinson mall, and Ross Park mall draws a larger crowd due to location and the economy of the surrounding area.

Been going to the Beaver Valley Mall all of my life, and its a shame how many businesses have left. So many empty stores, including 2 out of the 4 department store. Only reason I give it 3 stars is because I remember how nice this place was 20+ years ago.

Store selection is garbage, item selection within those stores is garbage, but convenience earns this mall its only star. Sure for the area, this might be efficient however in competing with Ross Park, Robinson, and Boardman, this mall is severely lacking

One law thats on its way out a lot of empty stores and it just seems like the ones that are there is not making it the big change that used to be in if swapped hands I dont know how many times I dont see that mall being there very much longer

Wait until Boscovs closes... If you wanna hear about "the new owners are going to turn the lights on and pay for water, come here.". If you dont like depression, unemployment, and old lady tears, dont bother. Also, use the Oxford comma...

Its a small, more compact mall. It has all the necessities. Im a little biased because I grew up with this place and still visit often, but I see it as an average mall. Theres certainly nothing to complain about for the casual shopper.

I have always loved this mall, but since Macys left, I am slightly less satisfied. In need of a revitalization but definitely gets the job done. American Eagle and Pacsun are still fine options for clothing offered at this mall.

Unfortunately there are a lot of businesses that have closed, the fountain isnt working, etc... the mall is dying. It was clean and the stores that remain are good but overall something needs to happen to keep it alive.

Its dated It may be old and have a few leaks, but its still a great place to walk around in the winter or the summer. Great small shops and a food court with just about every option. Bring the kids for the train rides.

The beaver valley mall has the standard shops you would expect. Through the years many shops have moved out, leaving the bare bones of the original mall. A perk, is the area around the mall offers more retail options.

I love this mall! Its a beautiful mall, I love the water fountains in this mall, they are gorgeous. The stores in the mall are pretty decent, but its sad to see so many empty stores, they need more stores for sure!
