First let me say that this is a large property suited mainly for seasonal campers. They do have sites open to the public. We drove in from Maryland and our GPS was good until the last 100 ft where we ran into a closed bridge that would not allow us access to the park. It caused us to have to make a 30 minute detour on very narrow roads. No one said anything about this when we called to make our reservation. Very annoying. We stayed at site #70, behind the office and just across the creek. Our site was roomy enough with plenty of room to back our 5th wheel into. The full hook-ups were very nice and seemed to be updated. There was no cable TV service at our site. Although they do have wi-fi at the office, we were close enough to use it for some parts of the day but the signal was weak. Verizon 4G cell service was non existent but our phones did work some of the time roaming on a 3G network. The site itself was clean and easy to access. The site looked level at first glance but once our trailer was positioned to accommodate the full hook-ups, it listed to one side. Very disappointing. The park as a whole is well organized and clean. They have a nice office with a store that is moderately stocked but seemed to have most of the things you might need. The office also houses an Ice Cream Shop. The staff was warm and friendly but felt a little disrespected when checking in that the nice young lady was sitting down in a chair away from the desk asking for my information. So check in for me was a little wonky. Basically we had a nice enough stay. The 2 main negatives were the site being close to the main road and the constant barrage of golf carts going to and from the Office. And even though they post 5 MPH speed limits, the more people drink the less the speed limits are observed. We were almost run into several times while we were walking our dogs.

In regards to Mr. Smith, it is and has been the policy at Saunderosa Park to prorate the seasonal lot fee to the new buyer. We give you the option of selling your personal property on our grounds, this is a privilege that we offer our seasonal lot leases. You had every right to pull your property off the lease site prior to April 15 with no cost to you. Im sure if your Mother-in-law has camped here for 30 years that she was aware of our rules and policies. If you would like to discuss this further please contact us. Best Regards, Saunderosa Park, Inc.

Spent 3 nights over the weekend, definitely a busy place. Very well kept, spacious lots and Great Staff. We had an electrical issue very early Sunday and lost power.. Staff were on top of it quick, got everything replaced and apologized numerous times for the disruption. Kudos to all the staff here... Only negative thing was the constant parade of golf carts passing by ... Everyone was super friendly but a bit annoying. Weve booked again in August, close to home and a 5 star campground !!

he owner is very greedy. My mother-in-law became unable to use the campsite due to health reasons and the fact that she was recently widowed. She and her husband had been regular campers for 30+ years. She paid her rental fee in April 2013 as required ,but then sold her camper to someone else. The greedy owner now will not refund any of the money she paid up front ($1500) but yet still requires the new lessee to pay the yearly rental. So, the greedy owner gets paid twice... Shame on him!

Friendly Staff, great owners, beautiful location, relaxing for adults, and fun for the kids. Most sites are fine with just electric and water. Sites by the stream are especially fun for the kids to play and catch cray fish. They have a large catch and release pond with some really big cat fish and variety of other fish. Clean and well managed. Pool is nice. We are frequent visitors.

Did not answer the phone when we called nor returned our message. In addition, did not respond to email. To be fair, we called on a Saturday afternoon. If you want to stay here, my advise would be to call WELL in advance and hope for a response. Total bummer.

The place has really changed since I was a kid. Now the pond is for fishing only and they have a large pool for swimming. A volley ball net and playground for kids.
