Probably one of the worst experiences at a department store ever. Not only is the store run down, but some of the rudiest store employees I have ever encountered. The store actually locked the door entering the mall (we had been in the store for maybe 6-8 minutes and didnt realize it was closing) 4-5 minutes after the actual closing time as we heard an announcement and immediately started heading that way. Our children (pre and early teen) were waiting on a bench right outside the store and they refused to let us out. When my wife explained the situation the employee actual told her "sorry about her luck and didnt know what to tell her". They told us we would have to go out the side entrance and walk all the way around the front of the mall in order to get to our children and made us do such. It was horrible and we will never be back again. Avoid this store if you are looking for a group that cares about the people that spend money at it.

I havent been to J C Penneys in a while because of an online order that went horribly wrong. The clothes were either way too big or too small. One pair of pants were complete rejects and as a result I swore I would no longer shop at J C Penney. However, recently I made the mistake of returning and they burned me again. They sent no bill until two months later. At that point it was an e-bill with late fees and interest charges. Maybe I am crazy for expecting to receive a bill either in the mail or in my email but that’s what I expected before I get late fees and interest charges. This time I am done!

Minimal unorganized selection with no staffing presence what so ever. I went mid-day during the week. I never did find anyone who worked there but after finding what I needed I also had to wait in a 30 minute line because there was only one cashier for the entire lower floor. There were only 4 Customers including myself but from the looks of it you would have thought that it was as Christmas Eve on that Tuesday afternoon. Bad example that just reminds me of why I should just take my business online.

:( I mistakenly clicked 3-day shipping when I wanted regular free shipping. I called seconds after I placed the online order and asked them to fix it. Hours of being on hold, writing, and talkin in person to many different people, and they just charged me for shipping anyway. And my order came with the box squished and damaged. Will not be going back. Theives!!! :( terrible service!!! :(

nice people but its a glorified dollar store. hate to say that cause i used to really like them. everything is an off brand if you buy large mens clothing and i had a nightmare with a belt purchase that went horribly wrong. i still buy an occasional t-shirt there but that about it. c-

Like most Pennys, this one has seen better days. Found some good super-clearance shirts at more than 90 percent off, but this wouldnt be my first stop if I was looking for something in particular. It is just a matter of time before the internet claims this place once and for all.

This location is closing in a few weeks. The staff are wonderful in spite of this. Theyre helpful and friendly. And of course the prices are rock bottom because of the closing. Get there quick before everything is gone.
