Gwen in Home furnishings was absolutely fantastic. I had ordered some shears on November 12th and was told they would be at the store in 4 - 7 days and I would receive a call when they were in. I never got the call so on December 2nd went in to check thinking I had already hit the holiday rush. They had come in and supposedly an automatic system call and left a message which I never heard. Since I did not pick up in the allotted time, they were sent back. Gwen was able to get an answer quickly and then re-ordered and had sent to my home. She even called the next day to confirm that she checked to make sure the original order was credited on my credit card. Her response to my problem was fast, efficient with a level of service I have not seen lately and she should be commended for it.

I have to agree, there are less associates around but JCPenney always has great deals and great options. They have home, clothes, make up and shoe departments. Plus size options for KIDS and adults in the clothes section. A few fitting rooms. Coupons are usually always available online and ads. The bathrooms needs a bit of work or you can use the main ones at the mall. They have an elevator and escalators. They have hair cutting, eyeglasses and a portrait studio. I have never seen anyone "watch" customers but FYI in the shoe section they have to go to the back to get your size and that may be the reason. There are both English and bilingual speaking representatives who are always willing to assist.

Well, it had been a while since Ive shopped at jcpenney, and now I remember why - I stopped in early Saturday morning, just after 10 am, so youd think everything would be in order and ready for the day. Nope, not even close - empty racks, clothes laying in the aisles and on the floor - the store was simply a mess. It made it impossible to find anything, so I walked to Macys at the other end of the mall. I wont be going back to jcpenney anymore.

Ordered a mattress from JC Penny, on Sat. August 14. Today August 19 no mattress del yet. Called 800 number and was told they are waiting for mattress which may take another week for delivery. I bought a mattress because I NEEDED ONE . So I cancelled it and will go somewhere else. No wonder these stores are closing. Tried to complain but no number available to express my dissatisfaction with JC Penny.

Im a young African American woman whose married to an Athlete. I anonymously created this account to complain. Every time I shop here for shoes Im being watched and followed and its annoying. I dont need to steal. I shop weekly at the mall and my husband has money.

Out of this world! Seriously. The size of this JCP.. its huge.. they also have the coupons sitting at the register for you because they know cell phone service is not good. My local store would never do that. All employees were nice. Clean store.

This store seems very disorganized and short staffed. One out of 4 registers open with at least 10 people in line. Last time I was here 2 employees were figuring out how to ring up stuff for free for each other. Poor customer service.

Worst customer service ever. Called before 8 and was hold on for 45 minutes and had the call cancel right on 8. To make Matters worst it was the 6 time I called today never again will I order a mattress here.
