Have used PARR for small and large building projects. Recently bought lumber for a couple fences, they were very accommodating and even delivered the product to my doorstep! Also, we built a few walls recently for my office, and not only did PARR drop off the lumber, but they also picked up some excess pieces that were incorrectly shipped. Sure, there was a mistake, but their response time and ability to fix the problem was very helpful to me. Also, I compared the prices to Home Depot, and these guys were actually a little less expensive...

The Newberg Parr Lumber offers great customer service. It retail location is clean and offers endless amounts of different wood products. I went in with the intention of making cedar planks for grilling one day. The staff helped me choose lumber that was safe for use with food and happily cut the wood down to the size I needed. Parr Lumber also supports community projects, such as the building of the Chehalem Valley Community Garden.

We had always heard great things about Parr Lumber but our experience at the Newberg location was awful. The representatives are very unhelpful and downright rude. They seem to think that customer service and follow up are not important. Management definitely needs to reassess and hire some employees who actually want to work. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

We bought a concrete drill that we only used 2 times and it broke. Parr lumber would not help and they told me to call Bosch and deal with it myself. If it breaks Too bad! Parr lumber doesnt care. (It had only been 3 weeks since I bought it) Doesnt pay to shop at Parr Newberg especially if there is a problem, they wont help you. They will only take your money!

these guys are pretty useless. if you know what you wnt and price isnt an issue then yeah go buy your stuff here, but f your on a budget dont even bother trying to call for prices there just gonna run off random numbers till you hang up.

Not friendly, seemed to tend to the contractors more than the regular do it yourself people. Newberg hardware and Home Depot Are the better choices IMO. Much better service.
