If I could give no stars I absolutely would. My brother boyfriend niece and I where just there looking for a 4x4 post for our mail box. We all live together in the same home i have 2 jobs my brother is a tattoo artist and we are native american descent and my boyfriend is half mexican. We were not greeted as we Walked into there establishment. Instead were given dirty looks. So we proceeded to look around by ourselves when finally an elderly lady who worked there walked up with a sour look on her face. She asked what we needed and my brother told her. And she said yes we have those in an unpleasant tone. And he said okay we need it can we get one please and she said its a dollar to cut the wood as if we didnt have money to spend. We said okay can we get that. In a put out tone she told us they would have to get it from the yard. And my brother not wanting her to go out of her way for a customer said thats okay and we left. We gladly drove the 20 minutes to home Depot and got the post and more. I would not give my money to these jerk people. I will be giving my hard earned money to Dennis company or home Depot from now on.

Ive been slowly remodeling my 120+ year old home from the bottom up for the last 6 years. 99% of the materials have come from Bayview. Im not a contractor. Im not even an experienced handy-man, but Im getting there. The staff always takes the time to answer my questions and give me advice. No matter what my problem is, they come up with a solution. I wish I could say the same for the big box stores. Their prices are fair and Im there so often they have me on account. Great business!

I have visited Bayview many times over the years although I have not been there since the remodel was finished. Good solid people. And, now, they have added Ira Harris to the sales team. That alone is enough reason for anyone to shop there. Ira has a very strong background in serving the building trades. His experience dealing with contractors of all sizes will really help Bayview and their customers.
