awful special order services. We ordered a Milgard sliding door through Home depot that was to be delivered to my home. Order went fine. Closer to delivery time of three weeks I called three times and the date kept changing until finally i was told last thursday that Milgard rep was telling the home depot rep that it had shipped and it would be there the next day (Friday). Home depot rep told me "they dont deliver to us on Fridays". I told the HD rep to please contact me as soon as it was on-site if it came on Friday. One week later (yesterday) i spent thirty minutes in phone transfer purgatory, got hung up on twice, got a busy signal for twenty minutes trying to call back and when I finally talked to the girl, she said "oh, its been here since last friday sitting in the south lot" When I asked why nobody had contacted me or was it being delivered, she just said "your order got lost in a system transfer" and "it was never going to get delivered to you, sorry" So I had a hole in the side of my house for an extra week, when my contractor could have installed it over the long week last week. No action on the part of HD to rectify or make right.

Im normally a big fan of HD, and have shopped at various locations for over 30 years. Ive renovated 3 houses at HD, and have probably spent $50k there. However, this Santa Rosa location is just...bad. I always have an unpleasant encounter here. There is a bad vibe that hangs over the place like a toxic fog. Employees are surly, nobody is trained, the aisles are a mess, and the other customers are understandably grumpy. The store manager wears this cold, rude stare. This place has such a hostile atmosphere, I now drive up to the Windsor store, which is inconvenient, but O.M.G, what a difference: nice store, friendly and helpful staff, tidy merchandise, and the attitude here is very pleasant. What a difference competent management makes.

VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!! Please, DONT BUY APPLIANCES THAT HAVE TO BE DELIVERED. , they dont deliver your appliances at the time they said they would. They swore that they were waiting 45mins, and then, you talked to someone else and the story changed. Supposedly manager said, they were waiting 15 mins outside, and they left. then I was transferred to talk to Nick another manger he said, "they were waiting 45 mins" at least if youre going to lie, tell the same story. Its infuriating when youre waiting for the delivery to come and they dont show up, and you ended up wasting your money and time. We need service to be reliable, and the worst part not even an apology for all the stress they cost.

I have been going to this Home Depot on average once a week for the past four months since I bought my first house. They are simply the best. Every worker in the aisles offers to help you and/ or responds accurately with questions. Their returns are no hassle at all. The service desk is absolutely wonderful for all my special orders and questions. I ordered custom blinds... fantastic customer service. I ordered a refrigerator... equally great service. I always know I am taken care of here, and my house... both inside and out...continues to look fantastic with the improvements! Thank you Home Depot!

Sorry Home Depot, but I went in for one item and one item only. Perhaps it was there, perhaps not, it was impossible to tell - couldnt access much of what was on the shelves because of boxes and items waiting to be put up. The lovely yet overworked employees (the ones who DO acknowledge you are the only reason this location deserves any stars at all) would have most likely been able to help had they not been so absurdly understaffed and AWOL throughout the whole store. Its not like any of this is new, either. Its been years, why havent these issues been resolved by now?

This is one of the Home Depot stores where the company removed the top of a mountain and stuck a store in the space, which they have done in many other communities. The access is terrible, the parking is cramped and confusing, and this carries over into the store, the customers, the employees, everything. Youre better off going to Windsor or Rohnert Park where there are well-designed Home Depot stores that are pleasant for customers to visit.

I swear no one in this store knows there in a home depot. its ridiculous how un helpfull everyone is and there phone system is horrible i was sent to the director 12 times before i got to talk to someone in the garden department. finally " hi this is jeff in the garden click.... " and the line hung up Selection is weak to.. all in all i recomend driving down the street to osh. Better customer service better selection

This is the first time Ive ever been able to drive to the store while waiting on hold. 25 minutes. When I arrived, the associate in charge of truck rental addressed the phone issue immediately and also gave me a discount for my experience. He was very polite even though I arrived frustrated. This would be 5/5, but the associate said the phone issue is recurring and needs to be addressed permanently.

This store has by far the worst customer service Ive encountered. In fact, Ive had such a terrible experience there that I choose only to shop at the Windsor Home Depot. The only department in this Home Depot that is even mildly knowledgable and willing to help is the paint department. Other than that, I will never go back after my countless bad experiences. Dont support this ridiculous place.

I went online to get the prices on some lumber and insulation. I went to home depot and the insulation form sheet were $5.00 more per sheet than the on line- site price. They did not carry the cheaper 2x4 I went to 2 difference lumber yards and got the sheets for $4 less than home depot and the other carry the cheaper 2x4 and sheet-rock. I will not be going back to home depot any time soon.

I asked for help with a water heater and it was only to bring it from the top rack to the floor so that I could take it I waited 45 minutes nobody ever showed up I ended up taking a different water heater not happy with that as a small business owner time is important its too expensive we waiting for assistance where customer service should be paramount

My experience at this Home Depot was excellent. When my arms were full with items in the aisle I had a very nice worker ask me if I would they could help get a shopping basket for me to put my items in. This situation happened unexpectedly, which to me shows extraordinary customer service. This was on a Saturday in the middle of the afternoon...
