I initially purchased a 2006 Scion Xb for $6200. I will admit it was my fault to not ask to drive it on the freeway because after a trip on I-5 we noticed the drive was awful and I wouldnt have bought it if we did test on the freeway. I called them the next day and asked if they would be willing to trade something straight across. I could definitely sense a little reluctance but they did agree to trade for a 2002 Toyota Avalon for $6250. I do appreciate this part but it goes downhill after this. I Test drove the Avalon and everything appeared to be fine so we traded for it. Two days later I go to start it and I happen to look in my rear view mirror and notice a substantial amount of blue smoke billowing out from the exhaust. I hoped it was a fluke but the next day it did the same thing. Hoping it was minor I went and got 2 opinions including my own mechanic. Both said it was leaky valves and the heads needed to be rebuilt. This is a $2000 repair!!! I called Delta Auto back and asked them what they could do for me. Basically his answer was "its not that big of deal, You dont need to fix". I told him that it literally billows out blue smoke for like 15 - 20 seconds!! Not only is it burning oil at each start up its also very embarrassing. He continued to tell me how its not a big deal... Long story short, 2 1/2 weeks later he said he would buy it from me for $3800!! I offered to trade in the Avalon for $6000 ($200 less) and purchase another car on the lot at full price. He refused to do so and that is why I am here writing this now. Too bad, they could have made it right. They need to stand behind the cars they sell and take some responsibility. Now I am stuck with a car and a $2000 repair bill. They really got me good... beware buyers..

I paid over the blue book value for my car, and this is for a car with a number of scratches on the exterior and a door that had been replaced, because I thought it would be a good, reliable car. They werent willing to negotiate on the price past bringing it down $300. I had a mechanic look at it before purchasing it and he said everything mechanically was fine. The saleswoman told me that the owner was "very nice" and that if it was broken right after I bought it he would get it fixed. Lo and behold, I discovered after a couple days that a back window doesnt open, and after a week there is now a clicking sound coming from the drivers side when I drive it. I just called the owner and he said that "I bought the car as is" and "its been 2 weeks in my ownership" so he wouldnt fix it. Obviously the saleswoman lied or was mistaken, and considering I paid more than the actual value of the car, I feel ripped off.

I purchased an low miles Infiniti g35 from Delta Auto for my daughter. The owner was out of town, but the young lady who helped us with her first sale was wonderful and the whole transaction was very smooth. 6 hours later the car had the fan bracket brake, causing the belt to come off and the fan to hit the radiator. I called after hours to leave a message, but the owner Sal answered and told me he was out of town until Monday and to get the car towed to his mechanic and they would take care of it Monday. We went on vacation and when we got back my daughter was able to drive her beautiful little Infiniti home. Sal didnt have to be a stand up guy and could have blown me off, but he didnt even hesitate to take care of the problem with the car. I will definitely be back and I will recommend Delta Auto Sales to all my friends and family

I bought a Corolla with Delta recently, and salesman Lyman was great. He was very detail oriented, had good information, and was low pressure but good at follow through. He worked well with the owner in coordinating minor repairs and price questions. They both seemed friendly, straightforward, low-key, and very reasonable. Working with them was really easy, which was extra nice because car shopping is not particularly my idea of a good time. I looked at many other vehicles at several different dealers before purchasing with Delta, and I think I got a good deal on the Toyota I bought. I found one or two dealers I would not work with in the future, but I would recommend Delta for an uncomplicated, pleasant, and professional carshopping experience.

I purchased my 2009 Honda Fit Sport from Delta Auto Sales and I have to say it was the best car-buying experience Ive ever had! Ben, Sal, and Lyman were a pleasure to work with. Very laid back, no hassle, they gave me the keys and told me to check it out and take it for a spin. They also offered me the chance to take the car to my mechanic if I wanted. I appreciate how upfront and honest they were with the price. I got a great car for much less than what other dealers were offering similar vehicles for. They even worked with my credit union to get the financing sorted and it was entirely seamless. Ive had the car now for over a year and zero problems. Im recommending them to all my friends and family, I will be back! Thanks Delta Auto Sales!

Very streamlined process. Ben and Sal were very helpful. I was encouraged to get the vehicle inspected and all questions were answered. I felt no pressure to buy and and the actual purchase was very smooth. After I bought the vehicle I was in a bind as the car that I had brought to the dealership was going to be stranded. Sal happily volunteered to drop my the car off at my house (all the way across town). I have bought a lot of cars and I am usually prepared for battle once I arrive on the lot. I didnt feel any of that in this case - no problems, fair price and a beautiful vehicle that was in just as good of shape as the ad implied. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a low stress car buying experience.

We had been driving around Portland all day and were exhausted of all of the typical, pushy sales people. It was a breath of fresh air when Nicole walked out from the office to help us. My husband and I had our 3 and 1 year old daughters with us and we hit some bumps with the bank (nothing to do with Delta) that wound up making us wait for about 3 hours. My girls were bored toddlers and were being pretty difficult, but Nicole even as went as far as putting Elmo on her computer to entertain them for a few minutes. She was so patient and honest, and we never felt pressured. We will definitely be back and recommend Delta to our friends! Thank you for amazing service and a wonderful new car! I love my new Pontiac Vibe!
