I have purchased 3 vehicles in the last year from Eastside Auto. Before Friday, I would have recommended them to anyone. They never try to push any vehicle on me, always let me stroll the lot and treated me well. I was in an auto accident lasts week, where the last car I bought from them was totaled. I work long hours, I am in pain from the accident and I didnt want to be left without a vehicle. So I chose to go back to Eastside. I did most everything online, I told my salesman that I have been a regular buyer there. I had to rush over on my lunch and sign all the papers and get back to work so mostly I signed and payed in person and was on my way. What I am disappointed about is just small things (probably, to most people) that were advertised to be a part of my vehicle, which in turn is why I chose that vehicle, only to find out that those features didnt work and/or were changed out before I got there. From my conversation with them this morning, I should have researched the vehicle more and checked things out better instead of just trusting them. Really???? In all fairness I must say, I do love my vehicle, I bought a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder and it runs great. My complaint: I work 50 hours a week. I work the exact hours they do. I believed that if things were not the way they are advertised that I would at least be compensated. What a laugh. So I take my responsibility like a grown up. But I would not recommend buying a vehicle from them to anyone ever again. Small things in life make a big difference. It really would not have taken much to make me feel compensated. So..... choose carefully and take them for their word, research your vehicle carefully. If its advertised and doesnt work, dont expect them to fix it or care. Again. I love my vehicle. But I will never buy from them again. I deserved to be treated better than that with the kind of customer I have been to them. Live and Learn.

Everybody has gone shopping for a car and has been to that sleezy lot on the corner that changes names every 6 months. You shop there to see what is out there and then get hussled into buying a piece of crap for too much money. This place is not that lot. I found a car I really liked and test drove on a Saturday. The car drove fine and everything looked great, but I wanted to do more shopping to see if I could get a nicer one for less money. I found one (so I thought) on Tuesday, it was cheaper but not as nice and had more miles on it. So on Wednesday, I call my salesman "James" to see if they would come close to the other one I found, and if they did I would buy thiers. After 15 min. he got the aproval to match the price. That night I went and put a deposit on the car and told them I would handle my own financing and should be able to pick it up on the weekend. No problem they said. Well my financing fell through so I asked them if they could help. They did, and got me approved. I was not happy with the rates (not thier fault, my credits fault) and it put me to close to not being able to pay bills, so I had to decline the whole deal and asked them if I could have at least get part of my deposit back. When I arrived and started talking with James the owner walked in. James interduced us and explaiend the situation with the owner. The owner said he would give me back the whole deposit but wanted to check into the situation some more. After moving some numbers around and a couple of hundred more on the down these guys made it work. So here I am going to get a partial depoist back and I leave with the car I wanted. There was never any pressure and I was treated professionaly. Thanks again Eastside, and thank you James for the late nights and your profesionalisim.

First time ever buying from a dealer; Ive always bought through craigslist with cash, but needed something new after my 94 Ford Ranger blew a head gasket. My dad and I (hes my mechanic with 35+ years of experience, making him my go-to when checking out used cars) went to see an 04 Dodge Dakota I had taken a liking to, after checking out other lots and trucks. We ended up arriving just before closing time, but Darrell came out and offered us the keys to take a quick look over the truck despite how late it was. We test drove it the next day, and Im happy to say its now in my driveway. Darrell was very courteous and professional from the start, and made the whole car buying experience stress free and pleasant. As a first time buyer, I was surprised everything went so well, and I feel like I got a great deal on a great truck (especially since I know its mechanically sound/perfect after getting my dads go ahead on it, though I know not everyone has their own mechanic to bring along, or realizes that its a good idea). Compared to other lots and how they price their vehicles, Darrell priced this truck very fair, almost equal to the KBB value of the truck for the year and the low miles. Very nice to see compared to how other lots will jack the asking price thousands above KBB to make a profit "just because we know people will pay it blah, blah". I know I may have lucked out compared to others because of the vehicle I picked and having my own mechanic, but overall it was a great experience. Professional, friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Thank you, DC!

Purchased a 196k 1991 honda accord with an auto transmission. Window price was 2000 so i put 600 down and financed the rest. Darrell was the man who sold me the vehicle. Test drove it for about 10 minutes and chose this one over one where the engine and tranny were not as healthy. This was my frst financed dealership as is vehicle I will ever buy. The cars distributor died on the way home with my 2 year old son in the car. Towed it home and called darrell in the morning and they gladly had it towed and fixed for free. Made me very pleased. Thats where it ends. I added interest and saw that my down payment wasnt even counted towards the damn window price we agreed on!! 2600 plus almost 500 in interest amd im paying triple the cars actual worth. My fault i signed the damn papers but shouldnt someone at least make the signing customer aware of the total price before picking up a pen? My first dealership experience though so i wasnt as knowledgeable as i should have been. The car needs so much work that had i not been a diy mechanic i certainly wouldnt be driving it right now. My transmission was overfilled by 3 quarts. Must have been done to hide the noise it makes when its filled normally as i found out yesterday... bad buisness to let a car go with that kid of crap. Also the carfax said no accidents but the rear speaker deck is deformed underneath everything and the inside of the rear bumper is bent. Total crap. Dont buy from them unless you have good negotiation skills AND you have a mechanic fully check the car over.
