I honestly had a really positive buying experience with Bridge City Auto. I had never financed a car before, and Ive been working really hard on improving my credit, so I could do this, for a while now. My old car was just not doing it anymore, and I really needed to get into something a lot newer. I randomly came across the dealership in a Google search, and decided to call and ask a few questions and get some clarification on things. Like Im sure is standard with every car dealership they urged me to come down that day, even though I told them I didnt have down payment money, but they still insisted that I could walk away with a new to me car, with a not a perfect credit history, and no down payment. I worked with Anthony throughout the process, and he was wonderful. He was what I felt to be 100% completely upfront about things. He laid it out for me and said with my situation I probably wasnt walking out of there with a $30,000 car, but thatd he do his best to get me into something that is reliable and good for me now, and help me get to the point of being able to drive off a lot with something like 30k in the future. He wasnt lying. I drove away that day in a new to me car that is in great condition and has low miles on it. My monthly payments are a little more than I wanted them to be, but I feel like my interest rate is fair and Anthony and I really worked together on negotiating the deal. The Carfax was 100% clean and everything. I also had a debacle with insurance that all of the staff stayed after closing to help me with. I could tell some of them just wanted to leave, but in no way did I feel disrespected or anything by any of them. They were all so attentive and willing to help. I feel like a 4 star rating is low. I wish I could give 4.5. I would give 5, but the experience was not perfect. I didnt really get to pick my own car. He kind of came out and was like hey I want to show you these two. I told him I was looking specifically for a Kia Soul, which I saw they had on the lot, and for right around the same price I ended up paying, but I felt like that part went ignored, and that maybe they were trying to push specific cars off the lot? I dont know. I suppose in the end it didnt matter though because I ended up loving what I bought during the test drive, and am one happy camper. I would definitely recommend giving these guys a shot, especially if youre a first time financer like me.

Women Beware! You will be bamboozled, financially taken advantage of and lied to. My young 20-something step daughter went to this dealership to buy her first car. She said her payments need to be below $250. They sold her a 2007 vehicle that listed as $5000 over Kelly Blue Book, with every insurance add on known to man. She came back 5 days later and did not like the car they up sold her a 2016 vehicle, adding $4,200 in negative equity from the car she JUST BOUGHT from them to the newer car that was also nearly $5000 over Blue book in value. THEN they added on all the insurances too. A $13,888 vehicle is now going to cost her over $29,000 at payments that are close to $400!. Who does that to an inexperienced, low income, first time car purchase of a young person???? My sister and law and I went in to discuss the situation with the salesman 5 days later (when she told us about this car purchase) - and we found him to be immediately defensive, nasty, talks down to and belittles women, and then walked out of the room refusing to talk to us further or provide us with the managements information.

On 9/7/16 My family and I went down to check get a new car because mine had died that day. When we got to the lot we were greeted by Rodney Burt and his great sales team, and they had lots of quality stock to choose from. I did however have a very specific car in mind and unfortunately it was not there. Rodney introduced us to a salesman that could let us test drive a car on the lot to their second location where luck would have it, they had the exact make model and fully loaded trim package we wanted. We test drove this car back to the lot where Rodney went to work. He helped get the best possible deal on the exact car i had been hoping for. The process was fast and easy, no hassle and they helped us out in every step of the financing that they could. The sales team was Friendly and knowledgeable. The Financing was fast and easy at a great rate. Going forward when i am looking for a used vehicle i will be going to see Rodney and his Team at Bridge City Auto Sales

On June 12, I bought a 2007 Toyota Corolla, beautiful car with little flaws (lights stayed on 24/7, issues with the key, drove wobbly) from David. It was a good car just a bad decision to make at the time considering I had three hours of sleep the night before and bought it because I was jealous of my boyfriends 2012 toyota camry. On june 28 I came in and explained to Rodney that I was not happy with the previous purchase and wanted to explore my options. The car had already been processed through the bank so the only other option was to exchange the corolla for another car. I exchanged the corolla for a almost brand new 2016 Mitsubishi, the payments are a little higher but I could not be happier. Everyone here was friendly, glad to help me and very understanding. Rodney was very patient with me as I looked through several cars, he wanted to make sure that I was happy with my decision and that I am leaving the lot with a smile on my face.

I wanted to leave and he kept trying to get my wife and I to stay. He lied to us and then told us we were a waste of time. How can we be a waste of time if were trying to leave and they keep trying to get us to stay? Never have I seen such a rude sales person except for Power Kia in Salem in years ago. The first guy we dealt with was great. The second one that stopped us as we were leaving who was the issue. If I were the owner I would be totally embarrassed to employ someone that treated potential buyers the way we were treated. The salesman told us he would give us his best price and then asked us what we wanted to pay. My wife asked for his best price like he said he would give us. He then became frustrated and at this point is when he said we were a waste of time.

I came in with low hopes of getting a car and expecting to spend most of my day finding a solution to being young in college, in college debt, and needing a car with no credit. Seth was there to answer all my questions and from the start committed to get me a car in a price range I could afford and under the circumstances I came in with. Seth did more then we hope and work with me to get a nice car newer modle low payment and below our price range on payment. At times I felt I was wasting his time and thought I would not be able to get what I was hoping for. Seth reassured me things were moving forward and in the end met my goals. I am super satisfied with the outstanding commitment to put customers first. Thank you Bridge city Auto sales!
