My recommendation is that if you decide to purchase a car with AutoTown, research, research, research and take the car to a reputable mechanic BEFORE you buy. Also check the Bluebook. I found myself in need of a vehicle and went to Auto Town. I found a 2009 Audi Quattro A4 and bought it in Mid October. I purchased the car the same day (first mistake) and I signed a paper stating I would take the car "As Is" (second BIG mistake). Within a week I had to put a quart of oil in the car. I notified Auto Town and was told to keep an eye on it, since this was a sport turbo engine and they tend to use more oil than normal. Two weeks later-I had to add another quart. Called them again, and was told to bring it in for an oil consumption test. They changed the oil, I drove it home-two weeks later, the oil light came on. I was told NOT to add oil. I was also told to have Audi check it, since the car doesnt have a dipstick. I drove in to Beaverton to have Audi check the oil. It was 2 1/2 quarts low, and they filled it (mistake #3). I took it back to Auto Town and was told we would have to start over, since they couldnt tell how much oil the car used. Color me crazy, since I"m not a mechanic, but if someone is putting in a quart of oil every other week and its down 2 1/2 quarts according to the manufacturer of the car, then theres an oil consumption problem. I was told they would have to start ALLLL over again. I live on the coast, so its not like I can just run to Gladstone and get this checked. This went on multiple times. In January I took someone with me as back up (and who knows cars very well) to make sure I understood what was going on. They did another oil change (which cost $125). The service manager told me they would take the car back. They would, but since the car was having problems they wouldnt give me what they charged me for the car. They offered to get me into another car, but I was going to need at least $5000 down or a cosigner. I contacted Audi and made an appointment to have them look at the car on May 9 at Sunset Import by the airport. It turns out the car has a massive oil leak and would cost me $1700 to get repaired. Yep-oil consumption issue for sure. Im going to go out on a limb here and say since they sold the car "as is" they were aware of the problem all along. Ill have to do this soon, so the engine doesnt blow. Long story, but buyer beware. I made a lot of mistakes here, and Im taking responsibility for that. Auto Town is interested in one thing-selling you a car. Please think twice before buying from them.

Wow! Horrible customer service! I talked to a salesman about buying a gma Acadia. After talking all day he informed me that the keys to the car were lost, and they would cut new ones in the morning as he had lost them and it was Sunday. He told me it also needed minor work first. He said hed have the car in the shop first thing in the morning and would arrange a loaner car if it took any amount of time. Well, I showed up Monday morning with cash in hand only to find out not only was the car still sitting outside, but in the shop, but also my dealer Ben want even working. Now I find out that the dealership doesnt even think the car is worth doing the repairs on to sell. I feel like I was led to so much I cant begin to tell whats true with these guys and what was lies. The manager apologized, but didnt do anything to try to keep my business. Its put me in a big bind since I explained to the dealer that my rental had to be returned the next day. Now I am 2 his late returning, and dont have a car to drive... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, AND THEIR OTHER STOREFRONT, ITS CALLED BRIDGE CITY MOTORS!

I bought my car at Bridge City last year. Time to refinance. Bridge City no longer on 82nd so contacted parent company Auto Town. Kelli told me no problem, get my payment down etc and beat Open Road Lending offer. I expressed to her I love my car and want to keep it so just want to sign refi papers and go. No new car. Showed up to meet Josh who seemed less than thrilled to help me. Turns out cant offer loan and tries to sell me a new car with a higher payment. Can only do a 4 year loan as the banks have changed. Interesting because Kelli said she could meet my needs no problem! Her bosses already approved me. When I asked him what I was doing there then his response was "I dont know" and "Kelli is new." Complete waste of time. They owe me 2 hours of drive time and a half tank of gas. Very poor customer service as I would have been loyal for life! Dont waste an ounce of time with these people. They are liars. The typical swindlers. There are honest dealers out there. Kelli should be fired. Not a good way to represent your company and believe me...I will tell everyone!

Would not work with me. Did not listen to what I was looking for or what my price range was. Approved me for why more then I wanted to pull/spend and judged me for being young. Would not sell me a car in my price range and consisted I buy a ser tain vehical. Lots of sketchyness in the office. I did not make the sale thought I would sleep on ot. Called the bank that approved me and it was a fake loan they were closed at the hour I applied. Car was either stolen or in a flood on the east coast and car fax were bad. Refused to show me car report and price did not make since. Got a car this morning from a true dealership and the experience was great. Not like auto town Buick gmc. There will be police investigation on the dealership from they way I was treated and the forging of fake car reports. DO NOT GO Here. Took and hour to get to and is the biggest scam mistake I have ever made.

I came to these guys in a crappy situation that I myself was embarrassed to explain. These gentlemen made me feel not only normal but welcome and appreciated. Josh and Fred especially were cool, patient, and dealt with me in a bad mood. Compromises had to be made of course but it was totally bearable, professonal, and at no point did I feel like they were putting anything over on me. I seriously left happy which is a first for me as far as buying a car. If are looking for a car or if you are unsure about your current situation, Id highly recommend giving these guys a call to see what they can make work for you. (And no I absolutely do not work for them and an general anti car dealership). UPDATE: August 2017. Still absolutely fantastic. Had warranty and came in for oil and they are just great at what they do. Just wanted to report, still very happy and recommend.
