I guess I should begin describing my experience by identifying myself first. Im a healthy male baby boomer, and just recently retired after working 40 years with a local company in Seattle Washington. So i thought id celebrate my retirement by purchasing my first new vehicle, Ive pretty much all my life have owned used, so this was going to be a new experience for me. So, I thought a new Silverado pickup would work best for me! ( Ive Always Wanted a Shiny New Truck!! ).After contacting many Chevrolet dealers through out the northwest, I discovered Mcloughlin Chevrolet in Oregon, had the best prices, and found a shiny new 2015 Silver Silverado 1500, it was perfect, it had everything on it I wanted. So after half a dozen or so phone calls with an AWSOME salesman Kaveh, on friday, he said he would have the truck all ready and waiting for me the next morning (Saturday). So the very next morning my wife and I made the long trip down, we got about down to the Kelso area and recieved a phone call from Kaveh, that the truck was just sold! : ( He mentioned he had others so we continued our trek. We arrived just in time to see my Silverado 1500 truck drive off with some other happy customer other than myself. I walked in disappointed, spoke with Curt the salesmanager and Kaveh, and they offered me 2016 same model but with better and newer features AND A NEWER BETTER LOOK!! It had been raining so it made it a bit difficult to see the shiny new RED paint. Only thing though, it did not have a trailer hitch on it, so I had to come back the following weekend to drive it home. We finished up all the paperwork, I was so pleased about my new truck, on the way out I took a bunch of pictures. ( GOOD THING I DID!!! ) because in one those photographs showed slight damage around the rear Chevy bow tie emblem, where someone tried to pry it off, leaving small little dents all the way around the periphery, 7 of them but difficult for me to notice them because of the rain on the vehicle, but there they were, and who would be looking for damage anyway, its a NEW TRUCK!!!! I returned the following Friday, and there was my new truck waiting me, and off I went my long journey back to Seattle, dented tailgate and all. So I got home parked my new truck in the garage where I left it parked till I received my new licence plates. Within a week I finally received the plates went to install them, looking forward to drive my truck for the first time having brought it home from Oregon, and as I was installing the plates, I noticed the slight damage around the emblem. I contacted Mcloughlin Chevrolet, talked to the salesman 7 different times, Curt the salesmanager 3 different times, and Lloyd the service manager 3 different times!!!! NONE OF THESE PEOPLE ARE MAKING NO ATTEMPT TO HELP RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM!!!!!! I have photos of this truck, taken while still on there lot, showing the damage, Yet a little difficult to see but still visible due to the rain. And they say theres NOTHING THEY CAN DO?????? WHEN SOME PAYS THAT MUCH FOR A NEW TRUCK, IT SHOULDNT HAVE ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT!!!, ITS BRAND NEW!!!!! WHAT DO I DO NOW????

This is my story. You make your own assessment. I called McLoughlin Chevrolet to see if they could figure out why my 89 GMC Suburban wouldnt pass DEQ. They said that they could help. I went in and they took the truck for a diagnostic check. A few hours later they said the test was done. I came to pick up the truck and was charged $109 to find out I didnt have a catalytic converter on the exhaust. What I didnt understand why just looking under the truck to see this was missing wasnt possible, but ok. So, I settled up, and took off. Immediately, I noticed the truck engine was missing really bad. I drove around the block and came back. After I talked to the receptionist, I got the service manager to come out and look at the truck. We went around the parking lot to show him the trouble. He agreed there was something wrong. I pulled the truck back in the garage and the tech took another look at it. 15 minutes later the service manager comes out and says they couldnt find anything wrong with the truck. I said the truck ran fine before I came here and now its missing real bad. What did you all do? Well, how do we know it was running fine before we got the truck was the response. I mean, Im saying you arent telling the truth, but how should we know? They told me one of the spark plug wires was spliced together and maybe that was the problem. How could it have been if they didnt do anything to it? Long story short, they werent going to own up to the fact that they did something to the truck to cause the engine missing, but did say it I want to, they would put it back on the diagnostic tester for free. No thank you. Your not touching my truck again. I took the truck over the Darryls Economy Muffler at 3630 SE 82nd Ave, Portland, OR 97266 to have a Catalytic Converter put on. $210 and they found the reason for the engine problem. Apparently, when McLoughlin Chevrolet pulled off the number 7 spark plug wire to do their test, they damaged the boot on the wire. This was what was causing all the problems. The guys wrapped up the boot with tape and the truck ran fine. All in 20 minutes. I would not recommend anyone go to McLoughlin Chevrolet for any service work.

So I made an appointment and went down to Mcloughlin Chevrolet to look at a 2013 Ford F10 Truck and to trade my 2015 Subaru Outback Premium PREV that I have on a lease. My husband and I having been looking for a good used truck so that we could tow a travel trailer and be able to take trips with our son and 3 yr old Grandson Jack. The sales person seemed like a very nice man, Kaveh showed me the truck let me drive it . I told him I wanted to buy the truck, I gave him all the information on my trade : a 2015 Subaru Outback loaded , one owner with low miles and brand new cooper tires placed less than two months ago. The car is in good to excellent condition , and I had the print outs from Edmunds and Kelly and a new one called “black book”. I wanted then to pay off my lease , or close to it. Mind you our credit is in the 800’s and we are able to get a loan with no issue. I didn’t even haggle on the price of the truck . And then JR McGee the sales manager struts in the room. Shakes my hand, sits down and proceeds to tell me he will “give” me 15,000 for my trade, mind you I owe a little over 20,000 so this was really not ok. I asked him why ? He kind of tossed the copies I made of online car appraisals toward me on the desk and said they mean nothing and that there was an overage of my type of car (which is BS I looked) on the market in PDX area. I told him “no” I’m not doing that and I walked out . Note nobody in there buying cars today. And then I proceed to get emails from Kaveh telling me they “lowered” the price on the truck , to what I don’t know and would I please call them . Oh hell no ! and then the last email he says “Hello Marie, The best that I can do for you on your trade is $18,000, just to make you happy. Please let me know if this will work for you. I like the “just to make you happy part”. LOL ! How about being decent and honest which seems to be an issue for these folks. I told him to leave me alone and do not contact me. I will take my money somewhere else , but not there.
