Saturday May 08, 2010 apprx 545pm My husband, two children and I went in to pick up a few toilet tree products.. Just coming fr the park, the kids were active.. After paying for the items walking toward the door kids started running, I called out to both of them to walk.. Then hear a mans voice requesting them to walk as well.. For this I understand and respect due to safety and had no problems with his request beings he was an employee.. A few moments later, still toward the door area I hear " YES, WE ARE NOT BABY SITTERS".. I turned around and see a woman walking away and said excuse me " did you just make that unprofessional comment regarding the children running? OH OF COURSE, its a manager and she must feel the RIGHT to make verbally rude comments as she did.. I then advised her I did ask the children to walk and didnt expect anyone to baby sit my children.. Manager Shelly went on to continue in her RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL attitude.. I have been shopping at that store for years, at least ten+ I have never been caught off guard with such non customer friendliness.. I left the store, started thinking how it was completely uncalled for her comment and went back in.. Shelly was on the phone, Only of course Im sure contacting her BOSS to advise prior to myself contacting them, attempting to act as though her comment and thought was correct.. I requested her BOSSES contact info, and this Shelly went on about how she was the manager on site to contact, YOU know, Ive worked retail previously and we all have someone to report too as if she thought I didnt know this.. She tells me her name, I requested her to write it down and she does so.. Once she completed the info she starts to hand it to me (only to pull the paper away as if she wasnt going to hand it too me) and says " shell be in tomorrow"............ YOU know, I choose to shop there and will continue however, what gives a manager the right to act as if she is BETTER than anyone? confused but hope she will think about her OUT LOUD comments in the future w her NON CUSTOMER friendly ways.. I will be contacting someone HIGHER above..

Worst location I have ever shopped. Store was a mess, clutter in mens department made it impossible to shop. Three employees on the floor in the grocery store were complaining about their jobs. There was no leadership available to speak to. The snack bar was closed, which was disappointing because of how warm it was outside. Finally, the worst part was being followed around by uniformed and the undercover person. I was heading out to the checkout lane, when the uniformed guard yelled " I have him (me) over here." How did I know, they meant me? I was the only one there in the area. I was going to buy some gift cards ($100) but decided just to buy the paper plates. As I was checking out the uniformed guard was still following me and was leaning on the customer service counter. I so wanted to ask him if he was disappointed for not catching an honest customer. I will never shop here again. I have contacted Corporate and they apologized, however the store has remained silent and so will my wallet at this store! Goodbye Target!

I just got off the phone with an employee from this store named Julie, and she helped me check inventory of a couple items and put them on hold for my wife to pick up on the way home from work. Julie was very pleasant, attentive, helpful and PATIENT; I was holding the phone in one hand and a fussy baby in the other! Although the store didnt appear to have all the items I was looking for, Julie basically read my mind and offered to put one item on hold up front for my wife to pickup with me even having to ask. I was impressed with her patients and positive attitude, especially during the holiday season when there are so many frantic and overloaded people, like myself, who can be a challenge to work with. Give Julie a pat on the back. Furthermore, I go in this target at least once a week and Im consistently impressed with how welcoming their store is and how friendly and helpful their people are. Highly recommended.

Update: I dont know what had happened in the last year, but its not good. Theyve cut their staff numbers by quite a bit making it hard to find anyone. The added a self checkout area allowing them to usually have one actual checkstand open. This leads to long lines on occasion. Many of the departments (shoes, clothes, etc) are frequently in disarray with items strewn everywhere. The food court isnt open half the time and when it is they are frequently out of items. This is a smaller Target, so occasionally you may have to visit the Target in Tannasborne if you are looking for something a little less common. The staff are friendly, and they tend to keep lines down pretty well.

usually good customer service, depending on who you get. Dont ask the younger employees for help, often times theyre too new and arent too helpful in guiding you to what you need. Stick with an older employee with experience. Decent prices, sometimes better then other stores sometimes worse. The only major annoyance I have is check out, during shopping seasons it becomes a pain to navigate and usually end up waiting forever to get a check out lane, after the employees let people waiting behind me in first. I would suggest a different store for black friday or the week before christmas. over all 7/10 theyre usually a good store.

Very very unhappy. Called about an item to see if it was in stock. They said they had one left and asked for my name to hold it. They asked me when I would be by to pick it up. I asked them if it would be okay for me to pick it up the next day so they told me they would hold it for 24hrs. I drive all the way there less than 24hrs later and they had sold it to someone else. Nothing they could do about it and I wasted my gas and time.

This target is a nice location, generally clean and well stocked. I can often find everything I need in one trip and find it to be a reasonable alternative to taking the additional drive down the strip mall to Safeway or rite-aid. Clothing section often seems a little bit in disarray, with limited size variety available, and merchandise not always logically located next to display end caps or mannequins.

Very poor customer service. Tryed to explain a situation to the manager and THE store manager said absolutely NOTHING not one word and let her employee Erica over power her. Erica thought she could be rude but when erica was told "quit being a smart ass" she thought she can ban them from the store for 6 months. I also heard since the new manager took over the store a lot of employees left.

Person in charge up front has a horrible attitude. Get more than 1 cashier if your self checkout is going to ask for a managers code every 12 seconds due to a scale issue or a coupon. When a customer tries to vent that frustration, dont be a rude to your customer. I spend $x amount a month here on various household items. This will be my last trip.
