We have bought appliance from Clackamas Sears for probably 6 homes always deal with Kevin who is great! However a year ago we bought my mother inlaw a refrigerator and declined the filter program that sends you out a filter...So about week ago my mother inlaw receive an email saying they are sending her a new filter, so she calls them and says no I just bought one please cancel, they replied no problem! But a week later a filter shows up at her door, so she (84 years old) drives into Sears and tries to return the filter on 2 different occasions and is dismissed by someone in appliances who says theyre busy and she needs to take care of it online. So she calls my wife and tells her the story and my wife says how did they charge you for it??? she says Im not sure...So my wife then remembers that we purchased the fridg on our account, so she logs into our account to find out we have been charged. So my wife calls into sears credit card they tell her that they can see that we did not sign up for filter service but they will need to transfer her to the parts department in order to take care of it. So she explains the whole story again and then she gets cut off...She calls back now even a bit more ticked off and goes through the same process (approximately 1.5 hours involved) says please do not disconnect me! She was disconnected a second time. So I say I will call Kevin and take care of it! Kevin off for the next 2 days...So I call into the number that my wife called into and I explain to the woman what happened and she says I will stay on the line with you incase you get disconnected again, so she transfers me and a recording comes on that says this department is closed...and the woman that said she would stay on the line was GONE!!!! I DONT HAVE TIME NOR ENERGY TO DEAL WITH THESE BIG COMPANIES ANYMORE!!!! AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED THAT CAN TURN ALL THESE MALLS THAT ARE SHUTTING DOWN INTO HOMELESS CAMPS FOR EMPLOYEES WHO DIDNT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOW ARE UNEMPLOYED!!! NO WONDER AMAZON AND OTHER ONLINE RETAILERS ARE DESTROYING COMPANIES LIKE SEARS...BECAUSE NOBODY THERE UNDERSTANDS OR VALUES MY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CANT WAIT TO READ ABOUT YOUR BANKRUPTCY....IF I DID THIS TO SOMEONE IT WOULD BE CALLED STEALING OR FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have an alternative, dont go here. I know, sometimes we dont. My brother and I came in to pick up some tools. We knew what we wanted, but when it came to checkout, of the 4 clerks "working", only one was doing checkouts, and he was pretty disinterested in the process. The other 3 made sure to stay away so as to not check us out. After waiting 10 minutes (there was some issue with the 1 customer in front of us), one of the other guys decided he could attempt the process of checking us out. He barely spoke to us, didnt get our rewards number, and spent most of the time chatting about after-work plans with his beleaguered colleague, still checking out customer number 1. What a joke. On the way out, we remembered needing some batteries. Heres the upside. The guy in the electronics section took us BACK to the tools section to find the batteries. He was super nice and quite helpful. Even though they didnt have what we needed, he directed us to another store that did. Tools department - 0 Stars Electronics department - 4 Stars, at least, although, I dont buy electronics at Sears

My experience buying a stove was not a good one. We bought a gas stove in October, had to wait 5 weeks for delivery. The stove was damage on arrival. They said we had to wait another month for a new one. I had to go to the store, as no one answered the phone at Sears. I called Sears Customer Support and they tried calling this Sears store 3 times no one ever answered. OK, so at the store they were less than helpful, finally after over an hour I got them to give me another model that looked like it could be delivered sooner. OK, now 5 days later the replacement stove was delivered - DAMAGED again. The crew would not take the 1st damaged stove out of my garage, so there it sits. Customer service says they dont know when they can deliver a replacement. So, back to the store to cancel everything. They said I had to wait for a refund until they came out to pickup the damaged stove, which they should not have left in my garage. For Real? My family has been loyal Sears customers up to now - no more.

I accept full responsibility for trying to get service via phone on Black Friday. However that is no excuse for having my call dropped multiple times, nobody capable of answering a simple question about if the sale item recliner was in stock, and no attempt whatsoever to address my frustration other than to pass the blame once I did receive a live person. The final frustration was to again be put on hold by that person with no comment as to why. My wife and I have been loyal Sears customers for twenty years. It will not be twenty-one.

Dont do any business with this store. The website has products listed that dont exist. So when you pay online they charge your credit card and when you try to pick up the appliance they try to sell you another refrigerator because the one online was bogus. Their managers and sales people cannot bge trusted to do anything they tell you. This has been the worst experience Ive had with a large corporation that does not provide any outlets for complaints and definitely they do not provide honest customer experience

Ive never been ecstatic to see a brand fail before! You might think it seems petty to find solace in a companys mismanagement, and youd be right, however, if youd ever had the misfortune of making a large purchase at Sears you can probably understand where Im coming from. The thinning selection on display and recent closure of 90 locations is evidence of their downfall, and they deserve every bit of it. Good riddance! I cant wait to see what store comes to this location after Sears closes.

Spent $3000 + on appliances just to go through hell on delivery. They ruined the fridge and had to have it replace ,mean while we were out of a fridge for days . Having to throw food away and clean up plastic and Styrofoam that they left all over the house and yard. And then I had to re-hang the fridge doors and adjust them due to the delivery guys rushing. Worst customer service ever. Will never be shopping at SEARS again . What a joke.

I will never shop at Sears again. Customer Service was unhelpful, rude and condescending. The Sears Store Manager did absolutely nothing and does not care. Basically, if you buy something here and it doesnt work, they could care less. They told me on the phone they will keep sending someone to repair it until the warranty runs out so you are stuck with it. I would not buy anything from someone who does not stand by their products.

Their website said they carried Toro sprinkler heads. Called 4x to talk to someone to verify that. Couldnt reach a live person; tried 4 different departments hoping somebody would pick up. Gave up and drove to the store. Employees, including managers, were just standing around. Told them what happened and they didnt blink an eye. They DIDNT have the product, and their shelves were very bare and not well stocked.
