AVOID THE GROOMING SERVICES/SPA! Its very dirty no one takes the time to sweep up the fur after they groom a dog, the staff is unprofessional and has no proper training on grooming or nail trimming. I took my pup in for a simple nail trim, and a very young unexperienced girl says she would do the nail trim. She did not make the effort to greet my pup or make him feel comfortable and she told me to go walk around the store while she does it, im very glad I decided to stay and watch. She was not gentle and she seemed rushed. My pup was a little uneasy about the nail trimming, and to make matters worst the idiot clips too short and clips his vein and next thing I know my pup is shouting and theres blood all over the table and his paw. She didnt clean his paw or even apologize, she sets him on the floor and walks him over to me without saying anything. I was very confused and I could smell the blood so I took a look at his paw and it was still bleeding. I asked her what happened and her and her co-worker tried blaming it on my dog saying this sort of thing happens often. No apology they just said "Did you go pay up at the front already?, if not well take care of it". Their manager was standing there when it happened and did nothing, not even apologize! It has been more than 8 hours and my dog is still limping. Please spare your dog the pain and go elsewhere!

We recently purchased a pet fountain for our cat to use and unfortunately the water would flood the floor when turned on. I couldnt find my receipt but saw that petsmart offered no hassle returns and thought that I would exchange it and try something different. Kenny was the manager who rung us up and he was AWFUL. When I said that I needed to do an exchange without receipt he immediately talked down to me and said "wow no receipt and no box.. Do you at least know when it was purchased?" I didnt know the exact date and he said he needed to research into it. We waited about 3 minutes and he came back and had a few negative remarks before again leaving to do something else. About another 3 minutes later he came back and said "Ill do it for you this time but you need to be better about keeping your receipts".. I am so outraged. I am a manager at a $10 million retail location and I would never talk to my clients this way nor would I let my employees. He never asked why I was returning it and I told him that I didnt anticipate the product would break and he did not care and I quoted the petsmart return policy and he said " its manager discretion" I will never go back to a petsmart location if management treats their company policy and customers with such disrespect.

DO NOT take your dog to Pets hotel/ doggie daycare!!!! I watched the doggie daycare people taunt and hold a ball up for at least 20seconds and as soon as the Golden retriever lightly barked, because the guy didnt throw the ball, the girl grabbed the dogs neck and threw the dog to the floor while the guy sprayed water in the dogs face. I was watching and as soon as they did that, I yelled through the window attracting a few other people and staff, the look on their faces was just like, oh cr*p, weve been caught. I was going to wait there for the owner so I could tell them but my friend said we had to leave. I filed a complaint and got a typical response saying they care about the safety of the dogs and would look into it, then got a call saying that thats how they deal with "aggressive" dogs and he arrogantly asked me what I think they should do about it. I have never yelled at somebody on the phone the way I did to that manager. That dog was playing and excited, not aggressive!Made sure to contact headquarters and tell everybody I know to avoid taking their dog there. They hire a lot of jerks, there are good people there but Ive experienced a ton more buffoons that shouldnt even be around animals.

Came in on June 7th early for some fish for a birthday gift to my son for his new tank. First the dumb dumb tall young brunette working the fish area had what I ment when I said I need tank rock... Really? She looked at me an my mother like we were speaking Greek. Second when I needed nets she had no idea where xtra stock might be. I took a few seconds to check cap shelves an found what I was looking for an third this is the icing on my cake because she overheard my convo with my guest about the party she REFUSED to sell me goldfish!!! Because they were for a party.. A gift for my son! I questioned her and all she fed me was bs my son birthday was tht day And after the 30 minutes spent in your store I walked out an took my buisness to petco. I would have had a very blue boy that day if I didnt come home with goldfish. Im sorry but that girl was a complete nimrod with no customer service skills. Bad taste in my mouth I wont be back

We take our border collie/ lab mix here all the time for check-ups (they have a Banfield vet in the facility- very convenient), puppy training, and general doggy needs and we love this place. The staff is some of the most friendly I have found at any chain store. Every time I go in I am genuinely asked if I need help. The people at the checkout counter are all smiles, they greet my dog as well and ask me if they can give him a treat. Most significantly, their dog trainers are not only magical with the dogs but incredibly committed and willing to take extra time after class to go over and additional questions, concerns, or show us a few extra credit tricks we can teach our puppy. This location should be a model for other PetSmarts. Looking at the other reviews I see the grooming services are not well-regarded but Ive yet to take our little guy to get professionally groomed- so no feedback on that.

This PetSmart location has a great selection of food, clothing, and dog products in general! The Banfield here is also wonderful...The vet team is thorough and really cares for your pet. As far as PetSmart services, Ive only tried their doggy daycare so far at this location, and although I wish they separated the small dogs from the larger ones during playtime, my dog still seemed to have a great time (very happy, especially since he seems to have slight aggression towards larger dogs. Here though, he seemed fine with all the larger dogs while we watched him play out of sight).

I called in as a very sad pet owner, my dog is not doing well. I spoke with Deija (I am SO sorry if I spelled that wrong) twice today, and she was eternally patient with my multitude of questions about how to care for my dog until his appointment. I have a lab/boxer mix who I am bringing in on Tuesday to the Banfield pet clinic. Ive not had any experiences with this location or company before, so I will be able to judge their service then. However, from what Ive gotten over the phone from her, I am impressed so far.
