I just went there today to get a hamster, when the employee came to help me she lifted up the little hamster house inside the cage and there was a dead hamster with a live one trapped in close quarters. When I acted horrified about the state of the habitat, the employee was just like oh, it probably just snuffed it and nonchalantly picked up the dead one and tossed it in the trash. She didnt even move the live one out or say she will clean the cage, nope just put the lid back on and locked it up. Do not buy an animal from here. The living conditions are terrible, they dont even notice when an animal dies.

Do not buy rabbits from here. I have bought three from here and kept them extremely well, but they all died. I would recommend going to Pet Factory instead of here. They also do not keep there bunnies under the best conditions. I have complained more than once to the manager, yet there has been no change. It is horrendous. I feel super bad for the bunnies. Once buying one, immediately make an appointment at a vet who sees exotic animals for a check-up.

I bought live crickets from them today. Got home and emptied the box amongst our other live crickets. Out of a box of 50 only 2 were alive! It was disgusting upon returning all the crickets they did refund my money but the cashier made the joke of asking if I wanted the dead crickets back. They were rude and to say with no issue that theyre having a lot of issues with keeping live crickets made me take my money else where. DO NOT BUY THEIR CRICKETS!!!

If you purchase aquarium fish, stay away from Pet Extreme. They sell fish ("painted glassfish") injected with colorful dye that hurts the fish and gives it a short, miserable life. When I asked the manager why they were selling these tortured fish, she said it was their corporate policy. Maybe if people stop buying this companys fish for a while, theyll change this policy and sell fish that arent constantly in pain.

I would not go here for aquarium fish. Staff is unknowledgable, all fish have ich (a parasite/disease) they will spread it to others in the tank and will most likely all die. I highly recommend going to little shop of reefs on downtown main st. Very nice guys, very experienced aquarium owners. All my fish from them are healthy and strong.

I just got a 29 gallon fish tank, a filter, sand, a light and a heater for the tank for just $150!!! Customer service was excellent they told me everything I needed to do and shouldnt do. Ill definitely be a returning customer. I am very pleased with everything Ive purchased.

We live this store. The self service dog wash and the groomer trims our dogs nails perfectly every time. Jeremy the manager and staff recognize our dog and interact with him and make him feel loved. Great selection of items for all Pets.

They have really good quality stuff that you cant find in other stores half the time. I took off 2 stars because they overcharged me for an albino gecko and rang it up as a fancy gecko which is way more $$$.
