I love this store! I like working with Richard and his staff. They are always welcoming and professional. I find high quality products to use while training my clients pets and to give to my pets. If I have a question, Richard and his staff are always able to give me the answers I need and help me find the product that is the appropriate fit. Their knowledge level of pet products is superior to any other store I have visited in the Portland area. I know if there were ever an issue I would get immediate resolution to my problem. The bath bays are spotless when coming into the store to bathe your pet. I recommend them to my clients on a regular basis for their dry and raw product selections.

This place was great while they allowed my dog to get his nails trimmed. Im not allowed to bring him back. So, be warned- this place can not handle aggressive dogs even with a muzzle. I got my Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix from a second chance shelter about 6 months ago. I was told he is an aggressive dog, but Im in the process of training him to negate as much aggressive behavior as possible. Unfortunately Holistic Pets is not capable of dealing with aggressive dogs. They referred me to Petco. So, if you have a dog with any aggression, you may want to go somewhere else like Petco.

I stumbled across this new pet store and I love it! I found some great treats and toys for my cats, including a type of glucosamines cat treats (I have an old, overweight Maine Coon) that I hadnt seen anywhere else and that my cat actually likes! Tip for cat owners: Get their peacock feather toys and your cats will go wild.

Best pet store in town! The owner, Richard, is incredible. He gives amazing deals on pet food (including price matching for us on raw cat food) and has a rewards/point system for even bigger savings. Liberally gives out samples and knowledge galore. And they have a super friendly and kind staff. Again, best place in town!

Ive been taking my dog Butter here for new toys, jackets, and food since I found out about it. Staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and they remember my dog and I every time we come in. They also partner with local rescues to host events, which is fantastic!
