From the moment I walked in to the steps to the return to my car, my experience with James Free Jewelers was absolutely wonderful. My experience began with Sherri and ended with Jackie. I have looked everywhere for a specific type of engagement ring setting that is not commonly found so much any more. The selection there would leave anyone in awe because there is so many beautiful styles. The quality was the most important to me along with customer service. Sherri didnt push me into a sale. She actually texted me pictures and information when I needed it. It was great to receive such kind, informative, and professional service with no push to purchase along with a follow up. The day I chose to purchase, I contacted her and she was off. She informed me that Jackie was ready with everything and would take care good care of me. She couldnt have put me in better hands. Jackie was EXCEPTIONAL. Again from start to finish, I was treated with excellent service. Jackie was so warm that I felt I knew her for years. I was also impressed with the knowledge, and still no pushy sales techniques as I was still looking for a diamond. I have been to jewelers in the Miami and Denver areas. Never have I received the same service. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Thank you James Free <3

When I married my husband my mother gifted me my Grandmothers wedding set. It was bought and made at James Free in 1958 by James Free himself. I brought it in for a crack in the wedding band. They tried to upsell me on two completely new shanks, re-dipping even though the white gold is still in perfect shape all in all they wanted to do $600.00 in repairs. After discussing this with my mother she urged me to use her jeweler in Centerville. Not only was I able to get a written appraisal by the owner, but she was also able to fix my ring for $25.00 a simple resoder to fix the break in the bottom of the band. I was quoted by James Free $85.00 per ring for a written appraisal. With the jeweler in Centerville I received a written appraisal and my fixed ring for $125.00. My Grandfather always bought his jewelry from James Free but I will not be giving them any of my money. I have even talked to the shop in Centerville about making me another wedding band for the front of my ring they said they could definitely make me another one.

We have had nothing but wonderful experiences there. Everytime we walk in we are greeted promptly, warmly, and taken care of immediately. My fiancé got my engagement ring there. They special ordered the style I had picked out and helped Mark find the perfect diamond for the setting. We got my two wedding bands and his band there. They engraved his band as a surprise for him on the big day. Ive had my engagement ring and wedding bands saudered and sized twice. Each time the rings are as beautiful as the day I got them, and they work quickly so Im not without it very long. We have bought other jewelry from them and each time we feel like we are the only ones around and we are treated like family. Debbie and Sherri are spectacular to work with and if they arent there that day or occupied someone else is eager to help and make sure we are taken care of. I cant imagine going anywhere else. They have customers for life.

I wanted to buy my wife the perfect anniversary gift and I knew a Rolex would be an amazing gift. I knew it was going to be a substantial investment (for us) in a timepiece so I wanted it to be perfect! Jackie Sallee, in the Dayton store, was AWESOME to work with!!! Jackie was very patient with me and never pressured me into just "buying something." I took my time and we worked together to find the perfect timepiece that I was pleased with and my wife now LOVES! I have worked in the jewelry industry so I am very familiar with the products, I also am familiar with how some operations are too focused on moving product. That was not my experience with James Free, and the level of CUSTOMER service I received. Thank you Jackie for a great experience and you now have a customer for life!

I purchased a ring from James Free three months ago, and my fiancee and me are so happy with their service and quality craftsmanship. I went to James Free in search of a jewelry store I could trust, trying to avoid the big chain stores that would offer me impersonal service and overpriced rings. They really came through. The sales associate, Sarah, respected my budget (and a pretty humble one at that). She never pushed me towards pricier options, always letting me know when we were moving into higher price ranges. To top off the great service, she even offered me a beer! The ring couldnt have turned out better. We wouldnt have changed a thing. I highly recommend James Free.

I was recently shopping for engagement rings and had no idea where to start. I worked with Sherri at James Free who was extremely helpful in explaining the nuances of each diamond. Also, I was out of town and did most of my shopping online and through email communication with Sherri. I never saw the ring in person until it was sent to me in the mail and it couldnt have turned out more beautiful. Sherri helped me along the whole way and catered to my every need even when it seemed like I would never find the perfect ring. I highly recommend going to James Free for any jewelry purchase as you will not be disappointed with the customer service.

I went in with some bits of jewelery that I suspected were costume, but wanted to have checked out. The gentleman who helped me was very friendly and helpful, even though it was all basically worthless. If I ever win the lottery, I know where to go for helpful and friendly service, lol. Since I wasnt looking to purchase anything, I cant really review their Quality or Appeal, but google is making me, so I will rate them high since I find shiny things really appealing.

Went in for a simple watch band change (keep note I brought my own watch band with me) ! was treated like family, made feel more welcome than any store has ever made me feel. My wife was shocked. They even cleaned our existing rings while we waited and wouldnt accept any money for the service provided. I was blown away and will never shop another jewelry store again in my life. My engagement ring is absolutely stunning! James Free helped my fiance craft the most perfect diamond ring for me, custom setting surrounding a GORGEOUS solitaire diamond that they helped him hand select. I never thought I would be so in love with a piece of jewelry, but it is absolutely perfect. Sherri Valentine is a wonderful sales rep. and she guided him through the whole process with no pressure.
