I researched EVERYTHING, i know as much about diamonds as you need to know - not being a salesman of such items. I looked online, I looked from Cincinnati to Toledo, out in California, you name it. I thought I would only find what i wanted to get (1Ct. diamond SI3 up to SI2 clarity, Excellent Cut and Polish etc.) Everywhere i looked - $1,000-$3,000 above my price range or i find one in my price range and it is a manufactured diamond, or just not certified. I walked in, as a last hope - i literally changed my plans last minute to go 2-hours the other direction. I drove an Hour to Nicks place, saw the diamond and about jumped through the roof. I saw the price and passed out. It was legit, it was far more than that, it was my soon-to-be fiancees Diamond. I was particular on the band and i looked and looked and finally with Nicks help - I had my future wifes ring. Exceeded my desires for quality and cut, so much so it was a hearts and arrows and under my range in price. I literally could not believe it, i looked at the diamond and the certification probably 100 times. On top of that, I asked for it to be ready in 6-days - that was the biggest kicker, it was the perfect date for me to ask. Against all odds i walked in the day before i wanted to purpose and it was ready to go. On the Money, It gave me chills. He took the time to order the diamonds, have em in, in one day - helped me for hours to find the band i liked and rushed the delivery of the band and the crafting of the ring. Nick, if you see this, i mean no harm - Nick may come off as a guy who "knows it all" or you may even look at a bad review and think the place is not worth your time- well i am here to say that after 6-7 months of researching, to where i almost settled, Nick may seem like a know it all, cause he does!! i found a ring that exceeded my desires for the women i love and it was half the cost of the same ring anywhere else, it was ready in half the time, and i received a million times the reaction and about the same amount of money. I have never filled out a google review before, i am 28 almost and I even youtubed how to do it. When someone does good for me, they deserve it back - It was laid back - no pressure - the jewelry and diamonds were quality, non-mark up prices, and someone who will go out of his way to do the little things that are beyond huge to you. Nick deserves the credit - if i believed someone lost the ring in a tissue after putting it in their purse, id tell them to use common sense. I received my ring in a nice box with a hidden magnet in the walls of the box to keep it shut. Even if you did get it in a tissue, the money you saved would be well worth it alone, not to mention the quality. Go to Nick, find what you want - pay a fraction - live happily ever after. See ya for the wedding bands Nick....oh and sorry it took me so long to do this, I hope i made up for it - i certainly owed you my friend. I hope i can help you other gentleman out there who think you cant find what you want for your lady in your price range. If you think your budget is lower than everyone you know, you can walk out with a better ring if you go to nick and your friend goes to any Jareds, Kay Jewelers etc. With all my heart - it was the best decision i have made, other than deciding to take the chance and ask my beautiful fiancee out on a date years ago :)

Best jeweler in the area. Maybe the state. 7 years ago my now-husband and I were looking for wedding bands. I wanted a custom made band and none of the "big box store", name brand jewelers had what I wanted nor seemed interested in creating a custom piece. Stumbled across Direct Jewelry Outlet/Rock Jewelers when we were going to Lowes! We decided to just check it out-- what could it hurt? Its a small store, maybe doesnt have a ton of items in stock.....BUT-- he custom made a band for me that was exactly what I wanted! Since then, weve been back several times for repairs and other pieces of jewelry. Nick can get you the BEST price on diamonds AND he will be honest with you about what you are getting. There is ZERO pressure sales environment here, and he will spend plenty of time with you, answering any questions you may have, helping you find exactly what you want AND at a price that is reasonable. At Rock Jewelers you are paying for quality & expertise, NOT a fancy box. If you want a very expensive, super fancy box with a particular name in the fake silk lining, go elsewhere. If, however, you are like me and you appreciate high quality diamonds and other jewelry at fair prices and a HUGE virtual selection and sales with a very personal touch, Rock Jewelers is for you. You can get a half carat ring at one of the name brand stores or a 1 carat ring at Rock for the same price (stones being of equal cut/color/clarity, of course). I prefer a larger rock :-) I hope they stay in business forever because we dont want to have to go anywhere else. Thanks Nick! Carey Smith

I bought a watch at Direct Jewelry about 13 years ago and was promised free, lifetime battery replacement. I stopped for a battery replacement four days after Christmas. The owner asked me to come back after the first of the year. He said he wasnt even supposed to be in the shop that day and he wanted to leave in 15 minutes. That blew me away. What does it take...5 minutes to replace the battery? But I came back today, January 12th and asked for a battery replacement. This time the same guy asked me to wait 15 minutes so he could finish eating. Seriously? When do you make customers wait? I told him no and that that was terrible customer service. He started yelling at me about how tired he was of customers not allowing him to eat but they could go out any time of day & night and eat but he couldnt. I tried to tell him it was the 2nd time I had come in but he was still yelling at me about ME not letting go clean up his area. I told him that he never said anything about "cleaning up his area" only that he wanted to finish eating. He continued to yell at me and certainly wasnt going to allow me to say a word. I turned and started out the store & told him again what poor customer service that was and he yelled at me all the way out the door. I never raised my voice to him or cussed or got ugly. I did, however, call him an idiot on my way out the door because he was still yelling. He certainly has issues. I do NOT recommend doing business at this store.

I agree with "So Upset." I got blamed for his mistakes! Hes not organized at all. Handed me my wedding band in a piece of tissue that I placed in my purse. Wedding band in tissue was never seen again (my fault I suppose...but what kind of jeweler hands you a ring you just shelled out $500 for in a PIECE OF TISSUE?!) When I tried to get another band before my wedding, he couldnt find what size he sized the original one (good job keeping paperwork, dude), and I got blamed for not remembering what size he ended up doing. Needless to say, I didnt get the new band before my wedding day, so my husband had to place my engagement ring on my finger at the altar...an engagement ring that is poor quality in my opinion! Ugh, what a terrible business he runs!!
