My fiancé purchased my engagement ring here. The night he proposed I found a nick (small tool mark) in the gold… disappointing, however not a big deal. The next business day I returned to the store to ask for it to be fixed. The owner happily agreed although made it clear that it was my own "wear and tear" that caused it. I had had the ring for two days... 13 days after the proposal, a side diamond came out. I stopped wearing it until they reopened the next Monday. 14 days after the proposal, when I took it out to examine the damage, the center stone was out of its setting. Before returning to Karamans this time, we got a 2nd and 3rd opinion from two highly recommended jewelers. Both jewelers said the ring needed to be remade and that the side diamonds would all eventually fall out due to over polishing of the gold (the "prongs" that kept the side stones in had been polished off). Karamans said they would fix it when we took it back, again saying that my roughness on the ring lead to the damages. After 13 days and only one correspondence with them until pickup time (we tried to get info on the process, however our calls went unanswered until an {appropriate} Facebook post of mine caught their attention), the ring was returned with the center stone and nick fixed. The side stones were still all incorrect. We were told that the reason the diamonds were hanging off the edge of the ring was so that light could shine through the side of the diamond. Incorrect--light shines through the top of the diamond, reflects off the cut and shines out through the top. The jewelers we choose to examine the ring told us the side diamonds would all eventually fall out (just like they did the first time) and that they would tear up the wedding band meanwhile because the edges of the engagement ring are so rough from the diamonds hanging so far over the edge. When we told the Karaman owner this, he denied that anything was wrong and refused to let us return it. He said his manufacturer would not allow the return either. We were out over $2500 and I had a ring I could not wear. We ended up going to a new jeweler and paying $1000 for the ring to be melted down and remade into a new design because the new jeweler did not have that particular ring design as an option. I did not have an engagement ring from 13 days after the proposal until 2 weeks before our wedding day (a total or nearly 3 months). We have been married 3 months now decided to opt out of buying a wedding band for me… because that money and more was spent on fixing a ring that should have never had those problems to begin with. I hope you do not make the mistake we did, which was walk in Karamans and that I wrote this as unbiased as I can muster. I want my reviews to protect others, not to bash, only to state what happened.

When I first walked in, I was greeted with a smile and an offer for something to drink. Zachary introduced himself and exchanged greetings. When I introduced myself and mentioned that my girlfriend had found a ring there that she loved, he remembered her from before and knew exactly why I was there. We had looked all over the area trying to find a ring that was similar, but her heart was set on "THE RING" she saw on her previous visit to Karaman. I explained my situation briefly and that it was kind of short notice. Zach and his staff at Karaman jewelers bent over backwards to make sure I got exactly what she wanted and made sure that I had it in time to pop the question. My fiance and I went back to the store today and were greeted in the same manner except this time Zach knew us by name. We picked out our wedding bands and once again the Karaman staff just went above and beyond to help us in any way possible. If you are looking for a great quality, beautiful ring for the love of your life, or even an anniversary gift, Karaman is the place to go. They also sell one of a kind pieces from local jewelry designers. Great customer service, friendly, helpful and knowledgable.

Last year my fiancé and I bought my engagement ring and our wedding bands from here and we were not disappointed. The difference between Karaman and other big chain stores was night and day. On our first visit Zack, the owner warmly welcomed us and took his time in explaining the ins and outs of diamonds and showed us how color and clarity effect pricing. There was no pressure and we left with a wealth of knowledge about what we were buying. We still had some other places to check out but no one else explained the buying process as thoroughly. When we returned the next week he and his assistant remembered our names, offered us something to drink and spent another hour with us. I narrowed down my picks for the ring and my fiancée returned to buy the diamond and ring. Ive been back several times to get my rings sized and to get our wedding bands and each time we are treated like old friends. My brother in law is in the process of buying his ring with Zack and he is just as happy as we were.

My husband and I bought our wedding bands at Karaman, and the experience was great. Zach and Crystal were very welcoming and able to give us all the one-on-one attention we needed, even after several trips as we debated our options. Shopping at Karaman is simply a different feel than shopping at a mall jeweler, where I also went for comparisons sake. Zach truly cares about his customers and their happiness. The mall jeweler was just trying to sell me and pressure me into buying. They werent nearly as knowledgeable, either. It was a total turnoff compared to the Karraman experience. It was nice to sit down in the beautiful showroom and really weigh the decision rather than being rushed into it. Zach understood our budget (and our style) and was willing to work with us until we found the best option. Most importantly, we love our rings! They are perfect for us. Id recommend Karaman to anyone looking for a quality jeweler!

I stopped in the jewelry store as they were closing their doors in Mason. (Moving to current location). I agree with all the other 5 star reviews that Zack schooled me until I understood what I was buying. The solitaire engagement ring is perfect. The time to size and set the loose diamond was quick. The the only con that I experienced was actually out of the stores control. I was not given the certification until 6 months later due to the post office loosing this document. I had moved twice. 6 months ago, Zack could not explain what had happened. I worried. I was not given the appraisal or certification when I bought the ring either. I think the paperwork was boxed or in storage. Idk. Anyway, now that I have these papers, I am 100% satisfied. Before, I could not recommended the Karaman Jewelry. Today, 6 months later, its all good. Shame on US postal!

My fiance and I are so unbelievably happy with our experiences at Karaman Jewelers and we will be using Zack as our jeweler for the rest of our lives. My fiance brought his mothers diamond into the shop and Zack helped him find the perfect setting for the diamond. Zack truly knows beautiful jewelry and my engagement ring is absolutely incredible; I get so many compliments. Zack is so warm and kind-hearted, he immediately puts you at ease and is also a very knowledgeable and trustworthy jeweler. He gives you the best and most fair price and he truly cares about his customers happiness. My fiance and I didnt think twice about getting our wedding bands anywhere else.
