When I was 19 I wanted to work for a great company, I was young, energetic, and very outgoing. I worked for this company a short time. One of the managers that I worked with who wasnt the main person in charge had advised most of the co-workers that the owner doesnt put up with sexual harrassment. Which what he really meant was that if you advised others or managers that someone who is giving you that type of harrassment will not be punished and the person who was offended will be fired. I really doubted that any company would do this, however to my surprise I was let down. That same manager was being disrespectful towards a younger woman saying how she has no idea what its like to be with an older man and to me that is very inappropiate for any manager to be speaking in that manner. I advise him that it was very rude and is not work talk that should be announced. I was very upset with how he was speaking with younger women. This is not correct manners any manager should speak to anyone. The next scheduled day that I was suppose to come in I was running about 5 minutes late and had called to speak to another manager when on the phone he advised me that I was no longer welcomed back. Why was asked and nothing could be put down on why. I was not written up or given any notice. What a horrible company to condone such poor behavior from management. From this day on that company will never get business from neither my friends or family.

I stopped in at this place because their ads say they buy diamonds/gold, etc. I had a diamond necklace (pear shaped just under a carat), a wedding ring and the setting from an engagement ring. I really didnt care if I sold it or not, just thought I would see what they might offer me. The jewelry was appraised at approximately $7500. The employee told me they normally offer 10% of what you paid...which was interesting to me since I sold the center stone of the engagement ring a long time ago - for 60% of what I paid and I sold it to a jeweler...hmmm....I told him at this point that I would just keep it if they only offered me 10%....so he goes and talks to a manager and comes back and says...so are you looking for like $2000 for it? I said, well, I really am not sure -I just wanted to see what I would be offered. So he goes back to the manager and comes back to me and says well, the manager says when you know how much you are wanting, stop back in. HUH???? How incredibly shady is that? I am sure if I would have said oh, 10%, OK....they would have given me less than $1000 - suddenly it is $2000 - and in the end they wouldnt even tell me what it was worth from their standpoint. SHADY CHARACTERS AT THIS PLACE - I willnever go back there...just a warning....

The Tuesday Dayton Daily News was wrapped in an International Diamond Jewelers ad which stated in huge print "Gold is over $1400 per ounce" and in fine print "on August 27". Todayss Dayton Daily News wrapper ad stated "Gold is over $1300 per ounce" and in fine print "on July 31". Both of these ads may state true facts (e.g. the price of gold may have been $1500 on those dates), and yet the large print gives the definite first impression that the price of gold went down from yesterday to today, while the small print might indicate that it went up. The fact that they are basing todays ad on an earlier date than yesterdays ad makes one wonder if this is the way BBB businesses normally operate.

This store is by far the best store for jewelry that Ive ever been to . Ive shopped all the big stores and buy a lot of jewelry and one day just stopped in here to burn sometime and WOW great staff very helpful and literally no pressure to buy (which makes most people want to buy) . Theyre prices are a fraction of anywhere else at Jared for the exact same quality and size was 2500$ and here it was 800 !!!!! I mean wow ..... and I dealt with there Diamond guy and wow that guy knows his stuff and is just real with you and honest ....... Im not one to leave reviews but this is the place to go for anything you need especially loose diamonds

less than impressed with the friendliness and price quote from the appraiser at IDJ. went in on saturday to sell a pair of small diamond earrings and you would have thought i dropped a skunk on the top of the display case and asked if hed like to buy it. they had some nice jewelry on display...well it was sparkly at least, not sure about the quality of their stones because i was too excited about leaving. everything from the poor attitude to the gross brass detailing and the overweight security guard screamed "get me outta here"!! went down the road to Staffords and got more money than was offered at IDJ. yuck. wont return.

This place is a joke and a total rip off the pawn shop actually offered me more than them but the thing that pissed me off most is the poor customer service the lady who looked at my jewelry was completely rude an when I turned down the very low offer on my jewelry she went to say how it was worth nothing an she may be able to talk to her manager an get him to go up maybe a hundred Im sorry thought it was of no value ? They could have offered me triple an I wouldnt have sold it never again would I visit this place an the rude staff period shame when pawn shops treat people better than an actual jewelry store ......

This jewelry store is, by far, the most hospitable and helpful place to go to. Me and my girlfriend have been looking at engagement rings and International Diamond Jewelers has set the bar in the quality of their product as well as customer service. While other stores were expensive, pushy, and rude towards me and my girlfriend, International Diamond Jewelers was patient, kind, and reasonably priced. The manager helped us find exactly what we were looking for and I was ecstatic to give them my business! If you live even remotely close to this store, you MUST make it a destination for any jewelry wants and needs!

When I went to IDJ to sell a $500 ring, they took it back, and came back with $50 cash in hand, as if me seeing the $50 would psychologically entice me into accepting that offer without question. It was absolutely insulting! And as a sales rep, a pathetic attempt to try to make an incredible profit off of my assumed desperation and greed! These people are unethical in their business practices to say the least! I wouldnt be surprised if they had a few blood diamonds in the back. I ended up going to Beavercreek Jewelers where the guy was very honest with me and sold the same ring to him for $140.

Its a fantastic store. People you need to realise that weighing your stuff on your drug scale at home is not accurate as its in postal weight not penny weight which is how any true jeweler measures weights. If ur sellin stuff back know that you almost will never get what you paid for it and appraisals are just for insurance replacement and dont affect a resale value. Do your home work before you go out and then you will know. I was treated well and got paid fairly. Def going back
