Decent selection, and the staff was helpful (I say "staff" but it was just the one clerk). I dinged a couple of stars because its not the best organized with a lot of empty spaces on the hooks where parts have sold out and apparently never been restocked, and some of the components look like theyve been sitting on the shelf for years, but mostly because the prices are not entirely accurate. For instance, a small package of resistors was marked $2.89, but the receipt said $4.89. Still a good deal, but its not what I thought I was paying. This happened with at least one other item. Unfortunately, I didnt catch it until I got home, so be sure to double check the prices before you leave.

Good points: Better selection that Radio Shack, better staff and knowledge. They will look up/order about anything. Some good closeout bargains from time-to-time. Some Saturday hours make store convenient for hobbyists (call first). Prices are higher than Radio Shack and online sources, and one can often get things delivered from online sources for lower costs than ESCO. Older ESCO inventory retains peak costs from days when they were in higher demand, and dont reflect current (lower) industry pricing.
