Many years ago I bought a used car here that turned out to be a nightmare in breakdowns and costs, but recently in my search for a "new-to-me" car I thought Id give them another chance. Jason, the salesperson, was very helpful. I came to the lot twice and test drove a car. He and another salesman indicated theyd had the car for some time and were likely to send it to auction soon because they hadnt been able to sell it. I asked if I could take it to my mechanic for an inspection and they agreed. While it was at the mechanic, they called and left voicemails twice. Turns out they had a prexisting deal on the table with another buyer and I needed to return the car immediately because they had sold it. I complained about the $90 I wasted on an inspection for a car that they had already sold. I asked them to refund the money since they had misled me (mistakenly or not) and wasted my money. They refused and said I was welcome to pay full price for the car and theyd sell it to me rather than the other guy. No thanks. My mechanic uncovered thousands of dollars in needed repairs, so thankfully it wasnt a repeat of my past experience. Im glad I didnt buy the car, and while the salesman was nice and apologetic, neither he nor his manager would make it right. I was amazed that a place as big as Jake Sweeney who claims to be "The Tri-States Most Trusted Automotive Name Since 1917" would continue to operate like this. What a waste of time and money. If youre buying here, get it inspected somewhere else before you do (and make sure the car isnt already sold before you waste your money on an inspection).

I was in need of a new van, so I went to Jakes Sweeneys website since I have bought my past three cars there. I saw the van I wanted online I drove to the dealership test drove it and bought it. The price was excellent the car is loaded and the process is easy. Tyrone was very knowledgable on the van, friendly, and low pressure. He took his time with us and was patient with the our two girls while they were waiting. I even called a friend of mine who owns a dealership to check and make sure I was getting a good deal. It was a great deal and I love my van and would come back to Tyrone again. He was awesome at going over the features, finding the financing plan that fit our needs and we were in and out in about 2 hours. The longest part was waiting to test drive the van because it was so popular there were two or three families ahead of us. Tyrone is a great salesman, not fake, down to earth, cares about family, and has a great sense of humor. He dealt with my sarcasm well! Thanks so much from the Dilley family and I we will back when my husbands car dies and lord help us in 2 years when my daughter is old enough to drive. So if you want good service without all the annoying high pressure, price negotiating, seriously go see Tyrone Glover! Hey Tyrone dont forget to find my second set of keys! See you again soon! Tyrone, Tyrone hes the man if he cant do it no one can! Also would like to give a shout out to finance guy MF! Here is my review. Jake Sweeney please dont responed with same response you gave every other negative review. Show you are human. The car I purchased was very specific car and that is what brought me to jake Sweeney. I bought January 9, 2015. Brad Molholn (cant remember the proper spelling) knew that the car was black and had a tearing wheel. Thats about it but I knew I wanted this car. I signed the paper work on the car with John Williams. He pursued me into purchasing the extended elite warranty by say it covered anything that would go wrong excluding rims and tires. He told me anything on the interior and it even included if needed new brakes. A day or two after I purchased it received a call from Brad saying I sign the wrong paperwork work for my loan. They insisted on me coming in that day. I work and cannot drop everything and drive 40 min out of way to sign paperwork they messed up on but I did and they told me they would fill my tank. They did not do that. So fast forward to today I brought my car in because the headlight got water in it and didnt work. Come to find out I was not covered and they wanted to charge $1100 for a new one. So went to John and went over the warranty. As he was giving me the same talk I was reading the fine print. I pointed out that over half of what he said was not true. He read it and reluctantly agreed. I had to cancel my warranty based on lies.

Ive purchased a car from Kings Toyota with no problems. Jake Sweeney? Horrible. My boyfriend and I were in the business of buying a car. First, the salesman we dealt with kept trying to get me to purchase a car at sticker price. He thought we were stupid and didnt even try to go down. He went down because I found the car at a different location for $4,000 cheaper. Then, we brought in our check stubs the first time and proof of residency. Received a call saying they needed another proof of residency for my boyfriend. Then received another call saying they needed another check stub and proof of residency for both of us. We live in Fairborn, so this is four times having to come down and give them the same information over and over. They didnt tell us the loan fell through, they would just ask for the information over and over. They finally did the third time we went down there. Today, I literally just received another call saying they needed proof of residency and income for both of us, but we were just there one week ago. My boyfriend gets paid every two weeks, myself monthly. Why would you need an update? Because the sales manager shredded them. And then one guy threatens to take the car that I purchased because I call him frustrated since theyre business is so unorganized! I will not ever again in this lifetime deal with Jake Sweeney.

Attempted to buy a car here, the man that I dealt with, Tim was uneducated and ran back to his manager the entire time. He also told me a wrong credit score in order to try and give me a higher interest rate, and said the price in which he (his manager) had agreed to was reached with the understanding that I would do my loan through who they wanted, aka who they had an agreement with in order to receive extra profit, which was never mentioned or agreed upon! It got to the point that we were asking how much we needed to pay outright in order to get the car, at which point the manger said "Well Im not even sure if I want to sell it to you," which was replied to with, "Fine you can keep the damn thing!." I know several others who had purchased from here who now have ridiculous APRs on their cars. If you arent experienced in the car buying world I DO NOT recommend, they will jerk you around and try to screw you over! Happy Hunting!
