NEVER GO HERE! Ive got nothing but negatives from start to finish with this company. I bought a new house and figured I could cut corners on a used washer dryer set. Cant go wrong with Whirlpool right? WRONG! SO WRONG!!! The delivery team was late BOTH TIMES (Ill explain). On the first confirmed delivery day, I tried calling multiple times throughout the day and they didnt even have a voicemail set up on their phone ("Were sorry, but the voice messaging system has not been set up yet"). During delivery, the guy put a big red scuff on my new white wall with the handtruck. And on their first arrival, they put in the WRONG DRYER! So the next day, they bring in the right dryer, but its missing a leg! So its clearly wobbling. I had to bring their attention to it (but they should have noticed it before me). The delivery guy tells me to call in a work order, but when I call the owner, he refuses to come out to fix it. I had to get on my hands and knees to put in a dryer leg. When I run the washing machine, it sounds incredibly loud! like NAILS IN A BLENDER! Even with the door closed in the laundry room, it was impossible to watch TV or talk on the phone over the sound. There were rust spots in the washing machine tub, which will stain your clothes, and its obvious that the set wasnt been sanitized (full of all the dirt, oil, and skin cells of previous users). You could see the rust and dirt caked on the edges of the washing tub. I tried to ask for a refund, but THEY DONT HAVE A REFUND POLICY!!! They offered me store credit (so I can repeat this process all over again? haha, no thanks!). So I had to sell the set to another store. Both potential buyers buy and sell appliances for a living. They explained all the problems with the set I purchased and both said that theyd NEVER sell sets like that at their stores. Even though I paid 467 (including tax) for the set, I was LUCKY to get $100 for the set from one of the buyers. A second potential buyer initially offered me $120...until he saw the set in person and knocked it down to $80. I learned an expensive, but valuable lesson. Thanks to this place, I will NEVER buy ANY used appliances EVER AGAIN! But if youd still like to take a risk with a used set, try Wagner Appliance Sales in Winston-Salem (theyve got sets for $350!), or Liberty Used Appliances in Greensboro.

I usually dont leave reviews, more of chalk it up as a learning experience, but I wouldnt want anyone else to have to waste their time and money on purchasing from this business. We decided to purchase a washer here, they did mention the bearings were going out, and if we bought the bearings theyd replace them. We did purchase the bearings contacted the store they said they scheduled someone to come out the following day, and replace the bearings. They never showed and it took several attempts to get them on the phone. During the 2 weeks we had the washer we also noticed that the washer was only using hot water. After an intense conversation they agreed to exchange the washer ( beware NO REFUNDS didnt see that posted anywhere )if I brought the washer back. When we arrived with the first washer they promised "110%" that the replacement washer would be without problems. We installed the 2nd washer and immediately error codes E3 / F5 came up and the next day F1 code appeared, and again we made several attempts to contact the store ..calls, text, FB messages etc..Finally we got in touch with them and the response was "You were given an upgrade" and our policy is if you pick it up you have to bring it back for repairs ( beware didnt see that posted anywhere ). My response was "I have already made 2 trips out there to get the first and bring it back for a replacement which you verbally guaranteed "110 % in perfect working condition" which it is not working, and I agree it would be an upgrade if in fact it worked!" This place should not be in business! any positive reviews I would imagine are either false (friends etc.)or just lucky people.

Do not waste your money or time these guys are crooks and very unprofessional. I brought a washer and dryer from them after two weeks of use it started having issues. First the dryer was not drying the clothes so i tried contacting them for over 2 months and nobody was answering the phone. I even drove all the way to burlington where the shop was and come to find out it was closed down. I then went out of my way trying to find someone else to come and fix it ASAP because I had a 1 month old baby and I ended up paying $250 to get it fix which I was so upset about. Then a few months later the washer started making some funny noises when washing and when the clothes were done washing it would be all damped with water and I had to continuously squeeze the water from my clothes each time I washed clothes. So yet again I tried contacting them again and no one would answer the phone. I then contacted the same guy who fixed the dryer to come and take a look at the washer and he charge me $150 just to come take a look to see whats wrong with it. He told me to just buy a new washer. So I look online and came across the Greensboro appliances store. I went there and saw the same guy that sold me the washer set, at first he try to denied that he did sell me any washer set until i show my receipt. He i will set somebody to your house to pick up the washer and for two weeks nobody show up. Every time it is the same story " I will come get tomorrow". I went to the shop yesterday and it was close down and the phone number was disconnected.

Greensboro Appliances on Gate City- we purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio 2 weeks ago and was informed it needed new bearings but if we purchased them, theyd come fix it. I ordered the parts and called Wednesday and scheduled them to come yesterday. They never showed or called. I called and they never answered, it went right to voice mail. They call me this morning and I mentioned the issues and how the washer also only runs hot water (not cold) and after much arguing and being told I should pray over it, that he wouldnt refund my money, that I wasnt going to demand him on how to handle the matter (on coming to fix it if they were coming) I hung up. He called me back and offer to exchange the washer for a "more up to date " washer (and it matched my dryer so ok!) so we haul the 1st one out there , trade it and got it home, doesnt work! A error code with the lid is showing. Now his number doesnt even go to voice mail-it gives a time warner message. Unfortunately I didnt check his BBB rating which is an F and all his reviews are almost negative and experiences like mine, he says thats his competition, not his customers!

I purchased washer dryer stove and refrigerator from This place. Have had my appliances for about four to six weeks. From the beginning I was having issues with the dial on the dryer rotating while in use. I figured its used, at least it works not a big deal. About a week ago my dryer goes completely out. Wont turn on AT ALL. So I call up. They seem professional and state that they will send someone out at 11am the next day. Someone was waiting at my home from 11-3pm when We finally called To see what was going on. They tell us theyre on the way. NOBODY SHOWS UP. The technician finally Calls at 730pm to say that hes coming. Who wants a man they dont know coming to Their home at 8pm at night?? On top of the fact that I was at work and the person who was waiting for me left at 6pm bc she had already been there SEVEN HOURS WAITING. So they were supposed to come today at 12pm. Guess what???? NO CALL NO SHOW and its 3pm. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL APPLIANCES CONK OUT REPORTING TO THE BBB
