Sometimes I wish you could post a zero-star review… because that’s what this company deserves. Schuenemann was dispatched by my home warranty company to repair a broken garbage disposal. Their repairman came to my house, told me the disposal needed to be replaced, and that he would have to order the unit. He took a check for my warranty deductable and promptly left. After some time with no call from Schuenemann, I called to check the status of my repair. I was told the part was probably ordered, and to call back later to check the status. After about a week I called again. I was informed that the new disposal was never ordered, and it was the warranty company’s fault for not approving it. Next I called the warranty company – they said everything was already approved, then they called Schuenemann to confirm this. Another week goes by… nothing. I call again, just to be told that they still haven’t ordered the unit. Again, they blamed it on the warranty company. I called the warranty company again, and explained my frustration of going 3 weeks without being able to use my kitchen sink. They promptly dispatched a new company, and my new disposal was installed within 3 days. After some research, I discovered Schuenemann has an “F” rating with the BBB. Please avoid this company at all cost. Awful customer service, doesn’t finish repairs, doesn’t take responsibility for anything, takes your money and runs.

If youre unlucky enough to have a home warranty service claim and you get this company to come perform work at your home, demand a new one to service your home issue. This company is completely atrocious to work with, extremely unprofessional, rude, no follow up and 5 months later and our stove is STILL not fixed. Absurd. They basically scam you the deposit for your home warranty then never come back and fix it. I have called them at least 4 or 5 times trying to follow up about this mysterious part they need to replace a broken burner on our stove, and they can never "locate the part" and say theyll call me back when its in. Never call back. The same ole guy who always answers the phone is extremely unpleasant, places you on hold FOREVER only to come back and say, nope nothing here, and hangs up on you. The best part is when I called our home warranty provider to explain my frustrations and ask for a new service provider, when they looked the company up in the system, they had closed the claim saying that they had resolved the issue!!!! I truly have no idea how this place hasnt been shut down with all the complaints, must be from all the money they take from new homeowners, only never to service their broken appliances then keep the parts ordered. RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!! HORRIBLE!

I had an appointment scheduled through GE Appliance for some warranty work between 8-5 (ridiculous time frame to begin with) so I took the day off from work to be available when they could get here. The day before I called Schuenemann and asked when they would be here and they said they would call the next morning with a more specific time. It got to be about 9:30 the day of the appointment and no phone call, so I called them to ask when theyd be able to get here. I was told I wasnt on the schedule. The phone rep then looked up my number, saw my appointment for today and told me theyd have to reschedule me for another day. He didnt even attempt to resolve the issue, or accept they made a mistake. He blamed GE for accepting the appointment for them. I called GE and was told that only the repair company can accept appointments for themselves (which makes perfect sense) and they had 3 days to see it between when it was made and would take place. This experience was completely unacceptable, the customer service and professionalism were abysmal.

This company services the Home Depot plan. I call on Friday to request service for a freezer thats not sealing. They put me in for Monday between 8 and 12. The company never showed.They never called. I get a hold of the Home Depot system, and they call the company to see what happened. Oh - the company was short-staffed, so they rescheduled EVERYONE from Monday to a time that suited them. In my case - it was Tuesday between 9 and 12. One problem here - Im not available Tuesday, or Wednesday. By the time I get off the phone and call, I get the message that theyre closed for the day. Boy, they may not know how to work with their customers schedules, but they can sure remember to turn on that answering machine at 4pm! Sitting on hold right now to ask for a different service company to come out. I wont even have these people in my house, and Im disappointed in Home Depot for continuing to use a company that has nothing but one-star reviews. If I could leave them zero stars - I would

CALL SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!had to put one star but did not even deserve that. I have been dealing with them for over a year now since they are the local servicing company for Frigidaire. I have never seen a company with so many idiots as this company. Five different service techs and none of them seemed to know what they were doing but today took the cake, after waiting 8 months for the proper gasket to come in because supposedly it was coming in damaged repeatedly John comes in replaces the gasket and says " this is yours to deal with" as he is leaving the old on and the trash on my counter. I ask him to take it with him he refused and then my husband chimed in before it was all said and done John was cussing at my husband and calling him out as he was backing out of the driveway. I contacted his boss and his boss defended his actions I am not surprised they are no longer BBB accredited and I am surprised a large company like Frigidaire uses them at all

I have had a similar experience to the other reviews posted here. I am now 2 months into a refrigerator repair and the problem still has not been resolved. They have told me it is not their fault as they have to go through Electrolux for my warranty. However, in one instance I called, told them the continuing problem and they stated they would order an additional part. I waited the quoted 10 days for the part to come in, called back and learned that nobody ordered the part nor remembers that I called. Same thing again recently. They were to call Electrolux. I waited, called the following week and nobody had called Electrolux as stated. If you need to go through Electrolux or another company for a warranty, tell them you do not want Schuenemann as your repair service.

So very disappointed in this service that was recommended 2nd hand by another appliance store. 5 weeks of delays and refrigerator still not fixed. I had to initiate every call, was put on hold for 5-10 minutes and after the 3rd time out with the incorrect part, I gave up. I requested a refund which I probably wont get. I wish I had read reviews before I blindly trusted the recommendation. Live and learn. Chris was the repair guy and had to take all the criticism but he always turned up when he said and on time. I felt badly that he had to take the heat for the company, even the owner wouldnt make this right. I hope this saves you the trouble of going through the hassle I went through.
