My boyfriend bought me a gorgeous engagement ring from here and was led to believe that he was receiving a $400 credit for use on wedding bands. When we returned to the store to make use of this, we were informed that it was not a $400 credit, it was a get-$100-off-of-every-$300-that-you-spend coupon. There is no way on this earth that my boyfriend got THAT confused without being horribly misled. Not only that, but when I asked to see some cheaper wedding band options than the ones that the associate was showing me, she said, "What do you mean?" and looked at me like I was an idiot. The way that she looked at me and spoke to me throughout the entire visit made me feel horrible, and all because I didnt particularly want to spend $1,000 on wedding bands. Terrible service. We will be buying our wedding bands elsewhere.

They will sell to anyone and do not care if you have the means to continue paying or not. Their Associate has received a commission for selling an $8,000 Neil Lane Diamond Ring. A week ago, the ring was appraised somewhere else for $3,000. The appraiser said "if the store will let you leave without paying in full, there is a Huge mark up to cover for all the people that cant finish paying" I recommend doing your homework, comparable jewelry at SAMS Club or one of those stores plus a $1,000 ring would be paid for.

At the Asheville, NC Mall location today to get my wifes rings inspected and cleaned and we were ushered out of store by an unoccupied associate because they "did not have time". The associate then proceeded to just stand at the front of the store with her hands behind her back doing nothing when she could have been helping us. What good is my protection plan? I will be cancelling my accounts with Kay and will never patronize that location again.
