I also had a very bad experience getting a screen repaired. I dropped it off on 8/25. I checked back several times over the course of the next few weeks to see if it was done. Always got the same response "Did any one call you?....Well call you when it is done." I stopped and checked again yesterday 9/25 (a month later), and got the same response "Did any one call you?....Well call you when it is done.". I asked to talk to someone about this, a young male clerk tells me they are way behind and they will get to it as soon as possible (he takes down my info). As I walk away another male clerk makes a makes a derogatory statement about me to the 1st clerk. I went back and told them that I just want my screen back and I will take it elsewhere... I took them at least 5-10 minutes to find my screen and when they did find it, it WAS repaired and that they had lost my ticket. Once again expressed my disgust that no one would go any farther to find my screen than to look in their "recipe box" for the ticket and tell me Well can when it is done. I live in the neighborhood and try to spend my money locally, but service like this makes me not want to. I could have fixed the screen myself but thought Id give a local merchant some business.

Very poor customer service. Dropped off a screen for repair, told it would be done in 2 weeks and that they would call... after 3 weeks we called them and after speaking to 3 different employees (the first time we called) we were told they could not locate our screen (we put a deposit down and had a customer receipt tag). My fiance went into the store to speak to the manager and was told it would be done within the next 2 days. Called back 2 days later and got the same run around as we did the first time... needless to say, we went and picked up our screen and plan on taking it somewhere else. We will not be going back to Mayer Hardware. Very disappointed in the customer service we received!

Its so lovely to have a local hardware store that is so polite and knowledgeable! Not only do they have just about anything you will need to get your home projects done but also so many nuts and bolts to help out our automotive repair shop! My father chris and I own Mer-win auto service just down the road and have used Mayer hardware for years for all of our home and nut and bolt needs! We send everyone there to get what they need and you should go to! PS. Dont forget a bag of there complimentary popcorn!

Anytime I can, I will always prefer to go here than Home Depot or Lowes. Obviously, they are a smaller to medium-sized local hardware store, so they dont have the selection of a big-box store, but they more than make up for it in service. Their prices are just as competitive, for the most part, and they are friendly and helpful, and remember me here. Come in for everything from paint to tools and more.

If you care about the quality of your home environment and getting it right, buy your paint at Meyer. Meyer people care, will take great pain to get your color choice perfect and you will have the absolute best brands to choose from including natural low VOCs safe for children and pets. If your particular and you care, forget the big brand home stores and only go to Meyer. Its worth it.

I went to get some paint and there were 3 people behind the counter of the paint section just talking. I was the only customer and the oldest woman (blonde hair) saw me but just kept on talking to her friends. After a couple of minutes I had to yell to the back "Is anyone working back there" twice. And then someone came forward and filled my order.

Since I moved to the area Im pleased with Mayers service. Everytime Ive a question I come to Mayers and someone help me, Specially Mr. Don. Also I believe they give an opportunity to young people to have a job experience instead of hanging around the streets. Good Prices, great atmosphere and a great Neighbor! Heather St.

Never a disappointment. Staff is knowledgeable and will assist with any project youre working on. Great staff. Great customer service. Lots of different items for all kinds of gardening, cleaning products, home improvements, repairs and more. Support this local business instead of Lowes or Home Depot.

My go to hardware store. Right down the road and gives you a nice family vibe. The staff is really helpful and their inventory is actually really thorough. Their prices might be higher than home depot or Lowes, but I support them because every neighborhood should have a store like this.

This store did not check the paint color before it was given to me. The color was not right. Also, they gave me a yellow primer for a red wall, which is not correct. I was completely disappointed, as I was expecting a lot from a "Benjamin Moore" paint store.

The customer service blows HD and Lowes out of the water. Decent selection for a store of that size. Prices can sometimes be a little higher, but I find myself going here more and more often. The location is much better for people on the east side as well.

Mayer is right down the street. Maybe you can find it cheaper somewhere else, but youll have to find it yourself IF you can find it at all, and it will take more time. The pros at Mayer know what you need, how it works, and where it is. They know how.

Family owned hardware store just like the one I grew up with. They may not have everything on the floor like the big box stores, but they will get it for you. I get greeted by name every time I go in, not necessary, but extremely nice.
