Ive dealt with two managers, Jasmine and Tara, and two employees, James and Matthew. All four were particularly awesome in terms of customer service. Their ability to work with me on multiple situations is benchmark in the customer service industry. All my issues for satisfactorily the single quick visit. This happened two separate times in a month, with two different employee-manager pairs each time, indicating that there is something in the superstructure of the management that makes this store function well. Through the whole transaction periods, employees did not make me feel like I was putting them out. The other customers, when they showed up, were also patient, as I have been to others when they were in my situation. This store has great inventory, awesome prices and fantastic specials. This location is among the best the best for Harbor Freights great customer service. Update: 3 weeks since last visit. I met the District Manager Mike at the Henrietta store today. I didnt find out he was DM until the end of our interaction. He was climbing up on ladders searching through 20+ boxes of inventory looking for a particular part number I wanted. He was an example of the diligence and hard work I find in 95% of Harbor Freight staff. My wife says I have male refrigerator blindness, and she is probably right. But I definitely do not have male hardware store blindness. At the same time, I am overwhelmed like a kid on Christmas morning each time I walk into a Harbor Freight store. Its like I catch ADD. So I count on the staff members like Mike to assist me. Im never disappointed... except occasionally in myself, when I come in for one thing, and walk out with my arms full. Again.

Update: A few days after, corporate management contacted me as well as the store manager and made amends and allowed me to return the product. Really bad experience. They honestly dont care about customer service, or at least management does not. I purchased a Floor Jack in this store for $90 and then found it on their online website for $60 so I purchased it right away. I got both jacks, they look exactly the same, same box and everything and since I had to work on my car I opened up one of them and used it, the other I would return it another day I told myself. I try to return it and get refused service because apparently the online jack is not the same as the store one despite looking exactly the same, same MSRP and everything. How did they guess? A little "Item Number" on the box. How was I supposed to know they were different? They had the same description, same box, same features and color and everything. They showed no empathy and refused to refund me $90. I will never shop here again.

Cheap junk tools that are SOMETIMES good for a single use, but thats what I expect from this place. What REALLY annoys me is that every time they have an item on sale that I am interested in, the store is "out of stock", and will not even sell the display at full cost if you beg them. Seems awfully fishy that they NEVER have the good sale items in stock. Most companies order extra for sales... I think Harbor Freight (at least my local store), purposely hides items in the back until sales are over (I have, on two occasions, gotten young kids that work there to go to the back room to look for the item, and they magically have one in back after Ive been told they were out).

I have always had a good experience there, and never once was i disappointed about the customer service, nor the quality of the tools. All i have to say to the people who have had problems with their tools not holding up well is that you are probably using them improperly, or for a purpose for which they were never intended.

Great customer service I caller first because of previous issues at other hardware stores such as home depot for returns. Spoke with manager and came in store for a quick an painless exchange as I always have my reciept. Am a landlord and spend so much money in hardware stores found my new favorite place to shop. I stumbled on this place by accident. Harbor Freight has ridiculously low prices for tools. Im no tool buff, but there are times I need a tool for certain hobbies of mine. There arent really any name brands, but the low prices make up for it. Prices are WAY lower than Home Depot and Lowes!!

Sometimes I just need a simple tool for a simple job and home depot only sells mid-range professional equipment. Harbor Freight is perfect to get that simple piece of equipment that will do a decent job for a house project or hobby project without depleting your bank account.

You probably wont be passing on these tools to your grandchildren, but theyve got inexpensive tools for just about any job. Fun to browse and pick up a few things. You never know what youll find. Highlights include flashlights, tarps, electrical tape, and magnets.

Very poor customer service. Cashier waited till the transaction was over till he mentioned that I could have saved 20% off my most expensive item purchased at the time. Lets hope the tools dont fall apart on first use.

Amen to cheap tools...tools here dont cost much and most of them arent worth much either. I bought a torque wrench from here one time and almost knocked myself out....got a bumpy lip out the deal because it was such crap

Inexpensive! Always use a 20 percent off coupon for every item and always get a free item, usually a flashlight, pair of scissors or a 25 ft tape measure.
