Dont waste your time. Yes, he gives a free estimate. But good luck getting him back after an estimate! When he first came out to fix our washer he determined we would need a new main control board and he would call me and let me know how much the part was. Later that day he called to tell me it would be over $300 but it was too late to order it that day (he called me at 3:30- seemed odd) and the part was backordered. He said he would let me think about it, if I wanted to spend the money or just buy a new washer (seriously? Because a new washer would ever be cheaper than $300???); said he would call me within two days and then hung up on me. NEVER CALLED BACK. I left numerous voicemails for him asking him to call me back and still nothing two weeks later. I gave in and called Sears- they charge for the appointment but I knew someone would actually come out and fix it. Turns out that the main control board wasnt even the problem! I definitely wont be calling Cherry Valley again- the estimate from Sears was even lower too!

I asked a neighbor for recommendation of appliance repairman & she recommended Cherry Valley. In the past year or so, they (he - Don) has been to my house 3 times - to fix my washer, dryer & fridge which are all about 15 years old. He always comes out the next day even though hes in Jamesville & Im in North Syracuse. The price for labor & parts each time has been around $85 & he let me post-date my check. I think most places charge around $80 just to come out. Highly recommended - he knows what hes doing.

I called Don to fix my dryer the first time, and he was great - he came over quickly, repaired it fast, and charged me what I thought was not only reasonable, but low. Same thing the second time. Today my dryer is making a terrible noise, and Im about to call him - if it can be fixed, I know hell do it quickly and for a fair price, and I wont have to wait a week - hell probably come over today. I highly recommend him.

Dont look any further for your appliance repair. Cherry Valley is as honest, reasonable, and dependable as you could want. This is the way service used to be. Get it fixed the first time and you dont have to worry that you are being sold a bag of services you didnt need. Only place I will call for all my repairs

Excellent work! Fast and reliable. Don from Cherry Valley repaired my oven in time for Thanksgiving at hundreds less than my online quotes. I had to call and leave a message, but he returned the call and was at my door within a day. I cant say enough good things about Don and Cherry Valley Appliance.
