I’ve refrained from venting the problems that I’ve had with my purchase but It’s time to let the truth out. 6 months ago, I purchased an entire bedroom set; over $5000 from Raymour & Flanigan. In the store, it seemed like it was well built. The employees that I spoke to said that they would stand by their product. It was a total lie. Two months after my purchase, in the middle of the night, I fell through my bed, slicing my arm open. That was a great way to start my day. I had to rush to the hospital for stitches and there were pieces of wood stuck in my arm. When I got back home, the mattress fell through the wood slats that hold it up. Apparently, this bed wasn’t meant to hold up a king size bed. I contacted customer support and they told me that it was my fault that I had fallen through the bed. They required a ton of pictures to see what kind of damage was done. Then, they couldn’t get a tech out to my house for 3 weeks! The bedroom set was originally delivered a few days after purchase but when it comes to any issues, it takes weeks to get it repaired. Anyways, a few weeks later it was fixed. Now I’m into the 6 month mark and the handles on my dresser and nightstand are starting to fall off. I rarely even go in there for things. After another phone call and 2 weeks of waiting for a tech, the issue was fixed by replacing the screws that secure the handle to the nightstand. The tech stated that the screws that were used were too short; it should have been done right in the first place. I should have inspected everything but I didn’t. The tech damaged one of the drawers on the nightstand and now it won’t close. The furniture that your company produces is not only poor quality but dangerous! Furniture is meant to last years. It’s not a car that requires maintenance every few months. It’s not supposed to break down. My issues still aren’t taken care of. I wish only the worst for Raymour & Flanigan.

I purchased a tempur-pedic mattress here and it was an awful experience. We asked the salesman to pull up a previous purchase so we could get the same mattress - they pulled the wrong one in their system and we got the wrong mattress. In the end, we paid for their mistake. Didnt like the mattress, eventually figured out the error on our own and tried to use the 45 day exchange, only to find out that there was about $300 in fees to exchange, and the correct mattress cost less than the one they sold us... but their policy is that the exchange has to be "equal or greater" value - no refunds, store credit, etc. Just double check their policies before you buy, and dont use the R&F credit card, very little protection for you on returns.

What a big disappointment we were misled on their sale. The worst part of this is the manager on Monday nights he was rude, disrespectful and down right obnoxious very unprofessional, I see why there are no customers in the store. Save yourself from this miserable treatment and shop somewhere else. Its a shame because I like to support local businesses. Would never shop there again. So sad they sent their e-mail address to make it look like they were going to address the problem, but they never got back to me, not sure they even intended to, just wanted people to think they did. I guess this explains why the showroom and their employees treat their customers the way they do. Very disappointed and now even more!!!!

Generally this is a shady business with unprofessional practices which range from charging your store card incorrect money to increasing your credit limit without customers consent (which borders legality). The latest issue was when I bought 2 dinning room chairs from the showroom floor. Chairs were in a great shape, like new. They told me to come back next day to pick them up. Chairs were wrapped in plastic. I was very disappointed when got home and took the plastic off. The chairs were old, with scratches and brown oily residue on seats. Bait-n-switch. In addition, also they have issues with their delivery services.

I recently purchased over 3000 dollars worth of furniture from Raymour and I received a gift card. I was waiting for the perfect addition and unfortunately I went back to v the stores one year and a week later. Here the giftcard was expired by a week. I afrhued with the manager asking to honor the card that I disnt kniw expired and tgey woukdnt do it. So I emailed customer service and I didbt hear from them. I called cudtoner service and got tge rhn arojbd abd I called tge accounting dept and I didnt get a retyrn call. The furniture was over priced and the custoner aervuxe w as horrible. I woukdbt recommend them!

truly hate this store!! spent around $3000!! year later the sofa/couch is falling apart!! furniture should last much longer if you spend that kind of money!!! and of course, the warranty just ran out.. (and if you still have warranty, youll get STORE CREDIT ONLY.. so youll be stuck with the credit to the store that has nothing of quality to offer!!) just found out, some of my family members had same awful experience with the quality of Raymours furniture !!! please dont throw your hard earned money away!!!

After making my way through the vulture salespeople i found and purchased a mattress at R&F which was comfy at first, but was shot within 5 yrs. Large (not cheap) wrap around couch was purchased from them 3yrs ago and can already feel the wood frame of couch when sitting or lounging on it. They claim youre buying high quality with money your spending but thats absolutely not true. I will never buy there again and recommend you do the same in finding somewhere else.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, Ive bought all my furniture here over the years and have never had a bad experience. The salespeople are very knowledgable and never pushy, he managers always work with you to resolve even the slightest issue, and the customer care girls are so sweet and helpful! I would recommend the Phillipsburg store to anyone who needs good quality furniture at a store who never lies or plays games with their prices.

THEY ARE LIARS AND DISHONEST PEOPLE DONT BUY FURNITURE HERE. I BOUGHT FURNITURE TOTAL AMOUNT $9674.03 AND TWO MONTHS LATER THEY SEND ME ANOTHER BILL OF $857.00 TOP OF MY ORIGINAL BILL . WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION TO ME. THEY WERE MAKING ALL KIND OF STORIES WHEN CALLED TO ASK THEM ABOUT THAT SECOND BILL. FINALLY GOING TO SUE THEM THIS BUNCH OF LIARS.

Worst service ever i paid over 2 thousand dollars for my daughters bedroom and after almost a month they deliver piece by piece and many missing parts what a joke they are .they are in a harry to sell you but they cant deliver the service
