Received a very rude call from store manager, Kelly, after placing an order with a sales associate the day prior. Kelly advised that she was reviewing the prior days orders and that I had applied store credit to my order; however she stated the problem was I had no such credit, she copped an attitude and stated that I was supposed to order a new living room coffee table. Then started interrogating where my current coffee table was and why I waited until now to use my (non-existent) credit because I was issued the credit earlier this year. I explained that the table that I initially ordered and liked broke, customer service ordered a replacement, when the replacement came in the table top didnt fit on the frame, customer service then ordered another replacement, when the replacement came in the table top was warped, customer service then tried to order another replacement, and the table was discontinued and I was issued a credit. I also advised that I still had the voicemail from ashley customer service stating that I had a credit that could be used for any living room item. Additionally, I told kelly that I had checked several times with her ashley store to make sure that the credit was issued and did not expire. After all of this explanation, I asked kelly if everything was okay with my order and she stated, for now and that she needed to contact accounting to make sure they acknowledge my credit. Completely unprofessional. Trying to strong arm clients and lie about not having store credit. If I didnt have the proof, I dont think they wouldve applied the credit to my order because Kelly was pretending it didnt exist and stated that I needed to reorder the same table, which if she had bothered to check instead of harassing me she wouldve seen was discontinued. Due to the complete lack of professionalism and how rude and accusatory Kelly was on the phone they have lost my business.

Worst furniture EVER MADE. My brand new bed was squeaking like crazy the first time we slept on it. It is very unsturdy and wobbles to this day. I dealt with that for a while then I decided to take it apart and try to fix it. Turns out it is a design flaw and theres nothing that can be done to fix it. I noticed all the reviews on the website are gone as well.The furniture LOOKS good but it is an illusion, its complete junk. It is made out of cardboard underneath the illusion of nice wood. The bed is an absolute joke. Now to the reclining sofa, the stitching was coming out popping out after 5 months, I call the warranty company guess what? Its not covered, and the sales lady told me any and everything is covered which is a complete lie. She also told me it covers if dogs ruin the furniture, which is DOESNT. I specifically asked her if it covers damage by nails/teeth of a dog because I had a 6 month old puppy at the time and she said YES everything even if they pee too. Come to find out they ONLY cover pee, lol who calls a warranty company to clean up pee? What should I leave it there for a week until the warranty company comes with soap and a rag? The sales people are shady and will say whatever they need to get you to buy the furniture and try to upsell the warranty and they say EVERYTHING is covered but in reality NOTHING is. I bought wall decor for the bedroom and the fake wrought iron broke. The warranty honors NOTHING it is a complete scam. I spent well over $3000 because I furnished my entire house. I regret everything I bought, even the dining room chairs have wood splintering at the screws. This is literally the cheapest furniture available, I wish I bought antique or went to Raymour and Flanigan. The only reason I went here was for the 0% financing for 5 years, NOW I KNOW WHY. Run from this store and buy solid antique or go to a real furniture store, even BOBs is bettter.

WHERE DO I BEGIN? MY WIFE AND I BOUGHT 2 DIFFERENT BEDROOM SETS. SPENT OVER $5000 TOTAL. WE AGREED NOT TO PURCHASE THE 2 SETS THAT DAY, OR SO WE THOUGHT. WE WANTED TO CHECK WITH RAYMOUR AND FLANIGAN BUT THE SALESPERSON CHRIS G. SAID HE WOULD DISCOUNT THE 2 SETS AND GIVE US A GREAT DEAL TO STOP OUR SHOPPING. THE DELIVERY TOOK 1 MONTH TO FIND ITS WAY TO MY HOUSE WHICH WE WERE PROMISED 2 - 3 BUSINESS DAYS ONCE IT CAME IN. MY WIFE AND I NOTICED THAT ONCE IT WAS DELIVERED, WE WERE MISSING MY CHILDS TALL DRESSER. LATER WE FOUND OUT THAT THE DISCOUNT WE RECEIVED WAS DUE TO THE FACT THAT CHRIS G. DECIDED TO JUST TAKE THAT OFF THE INVOICE. SO THATS HOW WE RECEIVED A DISCOUNT. WE THOUGHT WE PAYED AND WERE RECEIVING 2 COMPLETE BEDROOM SETS. I CALLED, EXPLAINED WHAT HAPPEN, AND NO ONE WOULD HELP. NOT CHRIS G. AND NOR HIS SALES MANAGER. GAVE THIS COMPANY MORE THAN 1 WEEK TO MAKE IT RIGHT AND NO ONE HELPED OR DID WHAT WAS RIGHT. I ALSO CALLED CORPORATE AND THEY HAD EXPLAINED THEY COULD NOT HELP AS WELL. I HOPE THIS CAUSES AWARENESS TO THOSE WHO CONSIDER PURCHASING FROM THIS COMPANY. MY ADVICE IS DO NOT GO THERE! THEY WILL DECEIVE YOU! SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT AND SUCH A SHAME! THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE A STAR!

I have a new Electric Fireplace of which I love. The design is absolutely beautiful, the wood is dark and is everything I have been looking for it is of a good grain and can also be placed in a corner of the room as it comes with a beautiful wood attachment so it can be placed catty-corner. The electirc heater is great . I have a pretty large living room and it can be very drafty,and did not watch much TV because of that, but when I put the fireplace heater on it does what it is supposed to do it truly warms up the room, where you really feel a difference, it is not drafty anymore. I have looked many places for a electric fireplace encased in wood cabinet for quite a long time but could not find what I liked. I was in your store for maybe 15 minutes and found the Electric Fireplace of my dreams. I would reccommend everyone to shop at Ashley Furniture as I also saw more furniture I would like as well. The Sales rep. was very helpful and the men who came to set up the fireplace were very efficient and removed all the boxes. Loved the whole experience from the shopping to the delivery. Thank You.

found the Ashley pieces I wanted on the internet. Printed the quote off the internet, went to the Phillipsburg store. They would not honor the internet quote. The price online included taxes and shipping. The quote at the store was $500 more than the online quote, this is for the same exact pieces. Yes online does take about 1 week longer for delivery. They would not even include the delivery, I live about 15 minutes from the store. The rude young lady at the desk must of been having a bad night. Since I did want the furniture before Thanksgiving I went across the highway to Raymour and Flanigan. They honored the price online to a very similar set. Mind you this wasnt even their brand. Love my new pieces and they are being delivered free on Saturday morning. Thank you Dave at Raymour and Flanigan. Ashley, I am currently redecorating my entire home, I will not be back.
