Id like to have written an updated and more positive review after going to the Brielle location in order to correct a problem which began with their Asbury Park location. The owner, Kathy, was very apologetic and promised to take care of the problem. Her staff identified the issue, which the mechanics at the Asbury Store could not. I waited while they tried to put on a new wheel, but it was the wrong one I was told Id get a text message when the bike was ready, and that it would be delivered to me the next day. I waited, but got no message. I left a message for the owner about an hour and a half before their closing hours on Friday, hoping Id have my bike back for the weekend, but didnt hear back for 45 minutes, and called again because I didnt want to have my bike lost somewhere. This time I was told that I wasnt promised the bike yesterday... and that they were retrofitting the wheel and hadnt had a chance to check it out. After my incredulous experience at the Asbury Park location, and paying rapt attention, I"m sure I was told Id have the bike yesterday, and given that I started out as an unsatisfied customer, I regret that it was so easy to have been let down again. I was so impressed at the level of service promised when I was right there at the store, and so disappointed that at 5:30pm on Friday, I still dont know when Im getting my bicycle back. in working order. Again, Ill be glad to update this more positively when this issue is resolved.

On April 8th, I had to stop in this bike shop to have my tire and tube changed immediately. I was riding with a team on a 24 hour event, (fleche). My rear tire already suffered a flat and had a sidewall cut, my boot was not doing so well. Another team member also had a flat earlier so I made a decision to get a new tire and tube. The folks in this shop took my bike in immediately and had me ready in no time. Their mechanic gave my bike a good look over, sprayed a little lube on my pedals and adjusted my tire pressures. We completed our event with no major events for the rest of the ride and was done in less than 24 hours. Thank you very much on understanding my situation with time. PS: this bike shop is loaded with everything and their prices are pretty reasonable with a great staff! I highly recommend this bike shop!

I have known the staff of Brielle Cyclery for 2 years and I can easily say that you are not going to find more attentive service anywhere else. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and really cater to your needs. No matter what kind of riding you are looking to do (mountain, tri, beach cruising with your honeys, or fitness) they will help make your search for the perfect bike easier. They will help you find the best bike for YOU in your budget that will meet your needs or exceed it. The mechanics are honest and skilled and will explain and help you navigate any problems you are having with your current bike. Seriously, if you are looking for a cool bike, attire, triathlon guidance, or you just want to walk around a shop and shoot the breeze with some cool people you really cant beat it.

Very well equipped shop with a great selection of bikes from Trek, Cannondale, Cervelo. Good selection of cloths and accessories. I have shopped there several times for mostly cloths and accessories. My only issue is with their help with a recent purchase of shoes. I asked for assistance since clipless was new to me and the young man who help me gave me what I found out later was poor information. He kept telling me with cycling shoes you need room in the toe area and I ended up buying a pair of shoes that I realized after using them a few times were just way too big. I ended up going to another shop and buying a pair that fit much better and they have made a big difference in my riding.

INCREDIBLE! They actually make you feel important. I have been to this shop several times and it gets better every time. Mark takes the time to find out what you need and make sure your back out peddling. I cant say enough about Clarence one of the techs. That guy genuinely cares about riders and will make time to make sure youre bike is running like a well oiled machine and that you are comfortable. They dont put you off to the next day, they will take a few extra minutes to do what they right there. If you want a shop that carries some big name brands, be treated like family and feel like youre walking into your home when you walk in the shop then this is the place!

Being new to the area and needing bike shoes, I visited Brielle cyclery store. Never having needed bike shoes before, they were very helpful and took the time to explain all of the important details and gave me valuable advice. Not only that but they asked me to bring my bike in so they could show me how to use the shoes properly. They also gave me great advice and suggested changes for my bike that would benefit me without trying to sell me more stuff. They went above and beyond what was expected and I dont think I would even visit another bike store in the area knowing this one is just down the road.

OK - I now have purchased no fewer than 5 bikes at the Cyclery. Some say I have a problem (with bikes) Yes I am addicted to biking - and am always shopping for cool bike stuff. Brielle is - hands down - the best bike store in the area. They are knowledgeable, not condescending, and extremely helpful in a very not pushy type of manner. I really like their store and the bikes and accessories they stock. I am not one of those hardcore - road bike warriors - but a biking commuter who really like good bikes. But even if I was a different type of biker - this would still be my favorite store.

I have purchased several road bikes there. The customer service is great. The knowledge transfer from salesperson to bicyclist is amazing. Very friendly and courteous. The owner Cathy is amazing. The best bike shop I have ever visited. The service people are amazing and can fix anything. If you are looking for a good deal they mark stuff down towards the end of the season. They have a huge selection of bikes on the sales floor. They will fit you for any bike that you purchase their. If there is a better bike shop out there I have not found it. Joe Bragen

7/19/2017 went into Brielle Cycle center for a new bike. Went in exactly at there closing time and Mark was more than willing to sit and talk bikes with me to figure what to put me on. After 20 minutes of being closed finally decided on a bike and not only did they all stay there for me they dropped the cost of the bike to meet my budget. 10 stars to Brielle cycle center. Customer for life
