Ive never been to the Wappingers Falls Store, Ive only been to the Mahopac store. This store has always been helpful and courteous. The list of bike brands they sell is impressive, but not all are on display. Some are special orders. They always kill you with kindness. Ive gone into the store and needed something small like a spoke magnet or needed a quick adjustment for a bike that wasnt purchased there and they were always ready to help. The answers to my questions have always been unbiased and helpful. They never "push" one brand over another or encourage the more expensive one, they explain the difference between the items in question so I can make my own decision. Granted sometimes I have to do my homework before my purchase. Ive been using them to service all my bikes (84 Fuji Absolute, 08 Trek Madone 4.7, and 11 Giant TCX) and they always get it done correctly. I rarely have to come back to readjust anything. The one gripe about the store is that some of the things I asked them to order; they were not able to get. If you are in the market for a new bike, bike repair or new components and accessories, Bikeway is an excellent shop that will make sure you get what you need and want.

This is the best bike shop Ive ever delt with. Their staff is supportive but not pushy. They seem to have more staff available for help so it means you dont wait as long and get some good attention when you need it. Ive bought 3 bikes from them and their customer care after the purchase has been very professional. The assesories and clothing are about as close to online pricing as you can find and you get it right away. They have a customer friendly attitude....not like the mom and pop shops in the area where you have to insist on getting what you pay for. And all the staff know bikes, because they ride them...and its more than a business for them.

What nice people! We are a family of biking novices, but their enthusiasm was contagious. We found them so helpful, professional, patient and attentive, with no trace of any of the negativity mentioned in the reviews below. We just came in to get training wheels put on, but after seeing how great they were, ended up getting a lot of new equipment from them instead of from a big box store. They took a lot of time to make sure everything was the right size for each kid, and that the bike rack was the perfect fit and safe for our cars. Even though we live far away, we will never go anywhere again. Thank you guys so much!!

Awesome service. Bought my bike there almost 6 months ago, and have nothing but good things to say. Was fitted to a bike that matched my riding style and LOVE the after the sale service. After a few months, I took my bike in expecting to have to drop it off for a tune-up. One of the mechanics threw the bike on the stand, tweaked and adjusted everything, and I was out the door in 10 minutes with my bike running just as good as it was the day i bought it.

As a novice rider and a customer service guru I could not agree with the review I just read. I was referred to this bike shop by a friend of mine and he was dead on with the level of experience that just flows through that building. Being in sales you kinda know when someone is just giving you the pitch and when someone is truly sincere. Looking forward to my next purchase!

This is a great bike shop. Over the years my wife and I have purchased 5 bikes from them. The most recent a CAAD 10 four months ago. The service has always been top notch. The staff is extremely helpful and they have no problem finding my size or the exact product I want. I have used their fit service for both my triathlon and road bikes and the fit has been spot on!

Highly recommend this bike shop to all my friends and family! We have purchased four bikes from them (two kids Specialized, one Specialized Mountain BIke, and one Cervello P3). Next year, hoping to add another Cervello to that! They have everything that you could want for cycling - and if they dont, just ask and they will get it for you! Definitely worth the visit!

Great shop! Everyone is VERY nice and helpful. All the Staff is very knowledgable...hands down best mechanics in the area. Best fitters in the area too...your bike will fit you like a glove when they get done. They have a little bit of everything. Im not sure if the people below were actually at Bikeway...definitely recommend these guys.

This is based on two experiences. Both times I received excellent and attentive service. Both were for minor adjustment issues. And one time they didnt even charge me. Where can you get that? I will use these guys again. If I have a more complicated interaction and it doesnt rate- I will update.

Bought my first mountain bike from Bikeway 13 years ago and recently a Cervelo P3. Service is top notch and very friendly. Their fitting service is also the best in the area. I have been through many fittings over the years at other bike shops, but Bikeway was the most thorough and professional.

Their customer service is not that great. It takes forever for their staff to even notice that you are in the store. I would drive a long distance to get great service, than to go to this store. All my times there have been a waste of time.

Do I really even have to give them 1 star? I wish I could give them negative stars. There service is the worst in the area. Most unhelpful, rude, and least knowledgeable staff I think I have ever encountered in a shop.

Didnt end up renting from them because they were situated too far from the trail, but they called up a different bicycle rental less than a mile away and arranged new bikes for us!! What service and altruism!!!
