Not the best customer service. I had ordered a bike on 5/21 and was told that it would be ready for pickup by 5/24. The next day I got a call informing me that the color I had picked was unavailable and I can get one in a different color by 5/25. Even though I wasnt happy about it I agreed to take it. On the 25th I did not receive any information about the bike being ready for pickup. When I called them on the morning of the 26th, they told me that the bike had to be ordered from a different warehouse since it wasnt available with any stockist nearby and would take another week to get to them and I was promised a new delivery date of 6/1. When I called them on 6/1 again after not getting any information, they said that they do not have any update on its availability and asked me to call the next day. Finally, when I called them today morning and talked to the manager, I was informed that the bike was yet again delayed and would not be ready before 6/7, forcing me to call off the order. Now I dont need to remind them that by providing poor service they do not lose the business of just one person.

I bought a bike here 2yrs ago, but still today I think of how I was misled by the staff here! Yes, its nice they let you try the bike around the corner before you decide. No, its not nice they push you a a size bigger frame because they dont have the right frame size in stock. Also, I spent $100+ buying a pinhead locker set which they kindly installed in exchange of keeping the bikes original pins without telling me. To finish off, I think my bike was not new because after 2months of moderate use, I had to replace the break pads... 2 yrs later and I still have the second set of pads on and never had to replace them again. I dont reccommend this shop!

They have one of the best collections and they make good offers too on select items and the prices are very reasonable but the people there are very rude...nobody is welling to explain and you never feel comfortable around them..its either take it or leave it and although I bought +4000$ worth of goods, I feel the same everytime I go there...if I find same item same price at Dannys or Sids Ill never buy it from habitat

Very friendly and helpful staff! My experience with bike professionals is that theyre judgmental, rude, and not really "people persons". Not so at BH. I called 4 locations- phone pick up on the 1at ring at each one! Chris at the SoHo location was really helpful and even put together a Fuji for me from scratch so I could test it. I wound up buying it on the spot. Really happy this all of the locations of this shop.

I went in to buy myself a real racing bike and recleved such a good value I bought another bike for my son. Because of large inventory they can provide great selection and extraordinary value. Such nice people! They helped me when I lost the jam nut for my stem with a replacement. Then, after a rainy 5 Boro Bike Ride, they took my bike, boxed it and shipped it out. Incredible service and really nice people.
