Wow. Wheel and Heel is, hands down, the BEST shop in the Hudson Valley to purchase a bike or any other cycling needs from. Pete and Mario are the dynamic duo! I originally bought two other bikes from Wheel and Heel when their other shops were in Carmel and Newburgh respectivelly. Two months ago, I traded my old Trek Y1 in for a Fuel Ex 5. Pete was awesome, joking around and making me feel as if I was spending $10,000 on a new bike. The bike was as good as the service. Two weks later, I upgraded to the Fuel 7 only b/c of the better components. Again, Pete and the rest of the crew were amazing. I have since been in many times for various add-on items. They prob hate me by now but at least Im keeping them in business!!!!! I am so very glad this shop is in existence. Thanks for everything. And btw, they are not any more exspensive than other local shops...

I brought in my bike which had been experiencing drag on the rear wheel. I was told that it might require a hub adjustment, which would run $22, but they would call me before doing any additional work. Later that day, the tech told me that the drag was due to the rear brake caliper not returning correctly. He proceeded to try to sell me a new caliper for $80, which I refused. But I ended up paying $37 for just this diagnosis, when I was told $22 up front for actual work which was never done. I fixed the sticky caliper myself at home in 5 min with a drop of oil and loosening an adjustment screw. Glad I didnt get suckered into paying an extra $80 for that new caliper I didnt need. Bottom line: the guys here are friendly and quick, but dont be surprised if they try and take an arm and a leg for simple service jobs.

Outstanding! Ive worked with Wheel and Heel on several different occasions now and each time Im more blown away by their customer care and quality of service. Although more expensive than other shops, its worth every dime you spend! Most recently I got fitted to a hand-me-down Trek 1000. Having experienced knee pain from poorly placed fitted cleats/shoes before, I had all but lost hope that I would ever ride again. In the several HOURS that Pete spent working with me to get new shoes with e-souls fitted to my bike, I gained a deep appreciation for Petes dedication to continually improve his professional knowledge of bike fitting. Hes not merely a certified expert; he knows the latest research on the subject on fitting. I road away comfortably producing power and with no pain! Truly amazing!

I showed up with my over 10 year old Trek 7500 Hybrid & explained the problem I was having, they looked over the bike, test rode it & found that a frame weld had given way. They contacted Trek & told me the Company had a warranty on their frames & that they would honor that. I never expected to come back to pick up a completely new bike from the shop. Trek was excellent because Wheel & Heel made it happen with their diligent examination & correction of the problem. Ive never been to a better Bike shop than Wheel & Heel, my new bike also has a maintenance contract for all the adjustments & servicing to come. Great folks, dedicated riders & skilled artisans. Thanks again, had a great ride on my new bike today

The folks at Wheel and Heel are always friendly and helpful. My wife and I have purchased Trek and Electra bicycles for ourselves and our children here, and the lifetime adjustments has proven helpful, as well as the discounts you get when you buy a bicycle from their shop. While we dont plan to stay in New York State forever, as long as we live here Wheel and Heel will be out bicycle shop of choice...

I would not buy a bike from anywhere else! You always here about buying local and this bike shop gives the reason! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and really loves cycling. They host weekend rides are involved in the community, and sports events... great atmosphere. If you are looking to get a bike and in the area, buy from Wheel and Heel! Great folks, great bikes, great service!

Bought a used bike from their used bike inventory. From the moment I brought the bike home, it was unusable and ended up needing repair. After two return visits to the shop and one attempt to repair I was told I would have to purchase the necessary replacement parts. The only reason I purchase a used bike a bike shop was to ensure it was working...you decide.

just went in today with two old, beat up road bikes in need of TLC and some advice. the owner spent more than an hour explaining everything we would need to do and getting our stuff together, even after we explained that we wanted to fix them ourselves instead of have them repaired there. this will be my bike shop for as long as im living here!

I was unaware they are a Niner dealer, so I purchased elsewhere. I had a problem with the bike brought it to them, and they helped me as if I purchased the bike from them.
