Mostly good service at this Starbucks in Helena, Montana. Glad they now have the Boulangerie baked goods, but boy are they high calorie! The only one I like so far is the almond croissant. The tomato savory thingie was too cheesy and the dough wasnt cooked all the way. Love their coffee too. My typical drink is a double shot in bold coffee -- tall cup with lots of room. I usually specify 1 inch of room -- and I tell them its not because I use cream, which I dont, but because I like my coffee STRONG. Oddly enough, even though I ask for 1 inch of room, at least 60% of the time the cup is *filled to the brim.* Do people just not listen? Or maybe 1 inch means something different to different folks. lol. If I say something about it, I cant count the times the barista has offered to dump some of the coffee out. Thats not listening. I like strong coffee not less coffee. Oh well.

The staff here is very friendly, when theyre not completely swamped. If theres not a line of cars in the drive-thru or people at the counter theyre usually pretty happy to chit-chat and laugh at my horrible dad-jokes. Id give this place four stars, but the decor is awful. Concrete floors and industrial motif does not lead to a relaxing place to sit down with an excellent cup of coffee. There are literally only four chairs that have padding, the rest are steel and faux wood that will be the only thing that survives Yellowstones eventual eruption. :-) The hard surfaces means the noise is awful. I actually talked to the manager about it, and she would love to change it, but cant. cest la vie. Never-the-less, four stars because the staff is so genuine and friendly.

Went in to order the unicorn frapp. Not impressed, spent 20 min waiting several preppy couples before us got theirs first after just walking in. Had to go up to the front and remind them that we didnt get ours and then they made it.... Really guys!? Been in before and had good service but this was ridiculous. Save yourself the trip go through the drive thru

Loved the drinks ordered, the young gal behind the counter was professional... only one of the few... other coworkers were unprofessional and was quite a surprise to see for a Starbucks. The bathrooms werent cleaned, the counters full of sticky syrup, food products not ready at opening... just surprised to see a Starbucks managed this way.

When they opened this sparkling, shiny, new coffee barn, Starbucks closed a great, small, neighborhood store, my neighborhood store. It just isnt the same, still in walking distance, but not the same. Pretty amazing to sit there and watch them crank out the java to keep up with the drive through.

The service is mediocre for inside orders and great in the drive through. They are a full featured Starbucks as it is fairly new and the sitting area is spacious. Beware the parking lot on busy lunches as it is small.

A great new Starbucks in town that includes the chains Reserve coffees. Great atmosphere, large interior, but parking is somewhat limited. There is nearby street parking that helps make up for parking issues.
