(Written by a former Walmart CSM) This store has a history of problems, and has shown little to no promise that it can solve them. Poorly stocked shelves, rude staff that lack the ability to communicate effectively with customers and location unique return policy "invisible fine print" are just the tip of the iceberg. 1. I hope you like what kind of cheese is still on the shelf. Im currently in logistics as a profession and I am privy to the fact that this store has "unique distribution obstacles". There is an obvious, seemingly terminal supply problem from the warehouse to the consumer. The people stocking shelves dont seem to know what theyre doing, and seem to congregate for social exchange near lawn and garden if theyre not 3-4 deep treating every customer as a convicted shoplifter with stuffed pockets. 2. Security is horse hockey. Look, loss prevention is a necessity. Walmart tends to "rotate" security between stores, so Im not sure if its managements fault or if these people are just consistently poorly trained. Homeless looking guy on the grocery side bench? Loss prevention. Guy with no cart and one random object in his hand who keeps appearing 2 feet from you? Loss prevention. Odd couple with a cart staring you down the entire time you shop? Loss prevention. The team here is extensive, and overbearing. Dial it down a notch there skipper. Watch, but dont be seen by the customer, its a horrible feeling and customers dont like it. 3. Customer Service/Returns If I had a nickel for every time I was in this store and the person working the return line provoked an otherwise pleasant person into blowing their top, I could shop at Target exclusively. They will NOT return anything from automotive, and this policy is not posted. So whether you go there once, or spend thousands a month in the store, be prepared to keep the wrong bulb, filter, or other "commonly stolen items" if you dare to purchase them here. be sure of what youre buying (if they have it in stock). 3.a After surviving my own nightmarish customer service experience at this store, I was compelled to contact management, and speak to the fellow in charge as someone who was once a Customer Service Manager at a very successful location. I was informed that Walmart was aware of many problems at the store and that he was actually imported from Fridley to try to pull the mess together. He was and is facing an insurmountable task. I hope they show this man mercy and send him back to Fridley. Its a much better store. Overall, this is the worst run, most "ghetto" dystopian, bare shelved Walmart I have ever experienced in Minnesota, and that includes both Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center, Midway and Bloomington, which are all far better stores. Fridley would hold the crown over the lot of them in my opinion, naturally Buffalo is still king. Dont shop here people. Let it die with whatever semblance of dignity it can. Horrible store! P.S. Im the one that got the bakery to switch from paper bread bags to plastic, so if you miss the $1 loaves being rock hard, I apologize. I like my bread soft.

So you have to find an associate (good luck in doing so) to unlock the razor blades and refills if you want to purchase one, and as if thats not bad enough, they wont give them to you, they will literally either walk you to register 10 if you are done shopping, or go store it at register 10 for when you are ready to check out. What a huge pain in the rear! So they lock away this very typical item ,which I understand probably because people steal them, but this also forces you to check out at a certain register, and we all know how annoying checking out at walmart can be. Girl at register 10 had to re-do my transaction three times, she kept doing something wrong, who knows... meanwhile line is building up, and after all this I am just ready to get out of there (I have my fussy newborn with me, who is ready to eat!) Upon arriving home, I realize that I do not have my bag with the two boxes of baby formula that I purchased for my newborn... so I TRY to call the store multiple times, NO ONE will answer..I hang up and select to be connected to electronics, in hopes that SOMEONE will answer..nothing. Hang up and call again, and select option for the deli...finally after about 3 minutes of just ringing, someone answers..who lo and behold CANNOT help me. Tells me to hang up and call back and select to speak with an associate... So I hang up AGAIN, select the first option I already tried in hopes to reach someone, and the line just rings and rings and rings...tried getting in touch for almost half an hour. NOTHING. So here it is 11:30 pm and I am sending my poor brother up there with my receipt in HOPES that he can retrieve my babys formula that was left behind. Sorry for my rant, but next time I will save myself the trouble and go to Target..or anywhere else. Walmart never fails to piss me the hell off.. terrible customer service. always, no matter what state, city, or zip code...

Me and my girlfriend went out bar hopping one night and it was all good. You know, no big deal. Well, anyway, I probably shouldnt have been driving by the end of the night, but we were riding around and I was like "Why dont we stop at the Walmart and get some food and one of those cheap DVDs?" She was like "sure" so we pulled in. Its a 24hr Walmart so thats good. So we go in the store and somehow we wind up looking at the jewelry instead movies. She starts joking around like "These prices are so good you should ask me to marry you." So I was like, "Sure." BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!! She started taking it all serious and crying right there in the store and all. I figured she was just really drunk (shes one of those crying drunks), but she got the attention of like half the store and customers and employees were all clapping for us. What could I do? I got out the drastic plastic card and charged a $100 ring and gave it to the GF. I seriously thought when she woke up the next morning itd be a big joke and I could return the damn thing. Again, BIG MISTAKE! Now shes all making plans and telling all her friends about how were engaged. And shes acting like being proposed to at the Walmart was such a smooth move. I knew this girl wasnt going to win any Nobel prizes or nothing, but damn! So Im trying to figure out how to get out of this jam, but on the plus side I did find a copy of "Eraser" in the bargain bin, and the Sams Choice chips always hit the spot.

If it was possible to give this store a negative rating I would. I was attacked by customer service angry women yesterday when trying to return a bike that I had recently purchased whose chain kept coming off. I had the corresponding receipt/proof of purchase, but the person who had rung up the bike had scanned the incorrect code for some reason, which the women at the counter kept trying to point out as if that was my problem and therefore a legit reason for me not to get an exchange or refund ?! Whereas that is obviously a training problem in that store, and not my concern or any customers concern. Anyway the situation got resolved eventually. I got my refund but for such an extra amount of unnecessary nonsense "customer service" drama queens that I had to deal with its not even worth it coming here anymore. It was embarrassing how insane these customer service women overacted, and how totally clueless they were about handling a simple exchange of a defective product. The assistant store manager, whom I had to go find, came thru eventually and was at least helpful in resolving the issue however between him and the person he was training-in at the moment, neither seemed to know how to process a refund correctly and as such I saw a bunch of debits and credits go through my account. Talk about the blind leading the blind. Dont waste your time at this pathetic excuse of a store with its incompetent customer service employees.
