This car dealer doesnt seem to very well organized. I called about Kia Sorento for sale that online said was at the Burnsville location. Ill call the Burnsville location and they tell me its at there bloomington location but the sales women was nice and asked if i had any questions. But she couldnt answer any of my questions. She just kept saying I dont have that information at this time. I was asking simple questions like is it a LX or EX model, is it a 4x4 or 4x2, have you had any work done to the car. She couldnt give me an answer. I asked how much she was asking for the car (for some reason they dont list the asking price for ANY of there cars) and she couldnt give me a number. Just keep saying it depends. Im still looking for a car but will not be going to car hop. Also Im shocked that this company has a 4.5 star review. If you google search "car hop scam" theres over 400 negative reviews.

Fast and friendly got to chose from a variety of vehicles and have terrible credit! On the other hand now that I have bought a car here I wish I would have realized just how bad they take advantage of people who need a car with poor credit! If I take the entire 3 years to pay off the loan I will be paying more than 3 times the current value of the car! They sold the car for more than twice its value to begin with!! They rape you with extremely high interest of around 20%!!! The best part is they know that theres a good chance you will not make the payments so the install GPS trackers and Ignition lock outs to make it really easy for them to repo the car as soon as you default so they can get it back up for sale to the next person who needs a car bad enough!!! Stay away from these crooks that prey on and take advantage of people with poor credit!!!

I bought my car 10 months ago. Recently I found that half my floor boards are rusted out gone on both sides. Its literally a piece of carpet between your foot and the ground. I brought the car out to carhop and talked to the "manager" who at that time told me she wouldnt wanna be in a car like this. I took it to the shop like i was told to do. When i finally got their decision she said it should just be fixed but expects me to pay half! As the mechanic said rust doesnt happen over night so some part of it was already there when i got the car. So i said if im going to have to pay. I wanted proof it was not there when i bought this car less then a year ago. Nope cant provide that. She ended up hanging up on me. Im sooo upset im stuck dealing with carhop but dont have a choice! Definitely woupdnt recommend going there.

I had the BEST experience at Burnsville Carhop that anyone could ever ask for. My cadillac engine blew and I was in no way ready or able to put a large chunk of money down on a vehicle and my credit is terrible due to a previous repo. Let me just say Jennifer was a dream to work with and she got me into a vehicle with no money down and no red tape. I woukd reccomend Carhop to anyone in any credit situation, as they are 200% willing to do what ever it takes to get you driving today!! Thank you so much for being willing to take a chance on me and I will never be able to express the gratitude I have!!! CarHop and Jennifer are seriously the epitome of a God send!!! NO DOWN PAYMENT!!!! I have been walking home from work and getting rides from other people.......UNTIL I made an appointment to come in to Car Hop.... Seriously I was amazingly surprised that I was approved for a vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m telling you guys, You all are missing out if you havent took the chance to purchase your vehicle from Car Hop!!! Did i mention friendly people, I recommend Dylan Ferguson, he will work fast and get the job done to get you into the car you need!!!! Also Thank you guys soooo much for approving me for a car that I absolutely love and let me tell you from this awesome experience being here in a comfortable atmosphere and getting me into a car super fast, I WONT SHOP NO WHERE ELSE AGAIN!!! What a great experience I just had at this Carhop! Jennifer C. was the nicest person and the most caring salesperson I have ever met. I couldnt believe the huge amount of actual concern for (what was) my car-less situation and my credit history. She was kind, thoughtful, and sweet, and made what I expected to be a very stressful situation into a calm and relaxed situation. I also want to give a shout-out to the GM, Jessica, who spent a lot of time with us making sure we were comfortable, and went above any beyond the bounds of expected customer service to make sure I was well taken care of in my first car-buying experience. You ladies deserve a round of applause. Please, if you are looking for a car, go here first!!!!!

Bottom line...THIEVES! Please do yourself a favor and look at Blue Book before buying! They sold my friend and his mother 2 vehicles, both with a blue book value of $1500-$2000. My friend asked me to look at his paperwork because he figured he could pay it off with his taxes. He called in for a payoff and the payoff was $8,022! Not knowing what he was signing he thought the $7,885 he was signing for was with interest only after I reviewed the paperwork he paid that for the car AND is getting screwed at 20.90% interest for a total of $10,700 all said and done! I do blame him for not asking but Carhop took advantage of people that dont know any better.

I bought a 2007 Ford Escape with 151k miles on it for over $10k (interest included of course, but overpriced nonetheless) By the time I got home (about 6 miles away) the heat was blowing cold and the car was overheating. Saturday afternoon with a new to me car that I cant drive, and the best I can do is bring it in first thing Monday morning. They have it all day Monday, and I finally get a call around 4:30pm. A cracked radiator, and misfiring, is what they tell me, and everything is resolved. I am ecstatic. I rush to pick up my Escape, only to find that the check engine light is on. Long story short; if you must get a car here, bring a mechanic.

Oh My Gosh, I met the most amazing & special salesperson today; Jen, in Burnsville! I was inspired by her...honesty, integrity and most of all, her compassion for helping people. We came in to look (after a month of arguing over which vehicle to buy: a truck or a SUV.) and found the vehicle that we BOTH wanted and the pricing and warranty were SO REASONABLE, even with our "no credit" history. I am so happy, and grateful to have met her! She was amazing and really cared about helping out us folks. She takes much longer than necessary to really help you! Its really a good place with really good people!
