I was unsatisfied. I thought it unprofessional when the tech was talking to my son about the problem on the phone he was rolling his eyes as if irritated. I was unhappy that they talked to me as if I was an idiot and did not know anything- CLEARLYI am not the expert if I am bringing the game system in there for repair! If I knew what the problem was I would have fixed it myself. BUT then the topper was that they told me it was over heating and charged me $50. Only to find that when I got it home it was still freezing up. I went online and did the Microsoft diagnostic and found out it was the hard drive all along. WOULDNT YOU THINK THEY WOULD RUN THE DIAGNOSTIC FIRST BEFORE FIXING IT?! I am pretty sure they didnt care and just wanted the $50 so they could go back to playing their games all day. I am LIVID!!!

I really have grown to love the much more personal experience that I get when going to Destiny Games rather than a competitor like Gamestop. I always feel very welcomed at Destiny Games and am always met with a very friendly and helpful staff. Being a classic gamer, myself, I really enjoy that they carry games from systems going all the way back to atari. Their prices are very reasonable and they offer a very wide selection of games. One of the things that I really enjoy is that if they dont have the game that you are looking for, they have no problem with referring you to a place that WOULD have it; it feels as though their entire goal there is to help get great games into the hands of people who will enjoy them, not just try and sell you something because they want your money.

I accidently stumbled upon this place while lurking around and looking for a place to get my hair cut. The first thing that I seen was a Intellivoice for the Intellivision, and then was astonished to see Intellivision games with boxes and complete inserts (this is astonishing because not many of these actually made it out of the 80s with everything intact; kids usually tore them up.) Incredible prices. Seriously they have prices so low that you feel guilty. The staff is extremely knowledgeable in both games and repairs. Think of them as your favorite car-mechanic but for consoles, minus the oil. Also one last thing. If you are tired of the "corporate video game and entertainment software retailers" indisputable-jaded-disdain for their customers, go to Destiny Games.

Horrible, Scamers, Use refurbished parts when "fixing" systems.Took my Xbox 360 to get a new disc drive total was $75 dollars. I had to go back to this dump 3 times (because they didnt fix it right the first time). They used a flourished disc drive in mine, when I asked to see the receipt for a new disc drive that they installed in my 360 they said they couldnt provide that to me. I asked for my money back, since they couldnt fix it (Which is part of the $25 diagnostic fee to see whether or not they will be able to fix it) and the owner flat out refused to, even when the "repair" was still under a 90 warranty. Save your money, time, and a lot of stress to yourself. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! You are better off buying from ANYWHERE ELSE than here!

Highly recommended. I am an old school gamer, and was thrilled to find a huge selection of Atari, NES, SNES, N64, Genesis and many other games and accessories. I originally came to the store to buy some retro birthday presents for a friend, but Ill return to buy gifts for myself. The employees were helpful and the selection was amazing - I felt like I was browsing eBay in real life. The store carried things Ive never seen before, and the prices were surprisingly good. I bought three retro games and they were in perfect condition. Ill be recommending this place to friends - Im so glad that Gamestop has some competition! Support games and support this place with your business! Sincerely - A satisfied customer

Guy who I assume was the manager had no idea what he was talking about when I asked if they carried flash cards for the gameboy advanced. He told me they were illegal, which they are not. He then goes on to be little and yell at his coworker in front of other customers. Very unprofessional! AS for the stock in the store, it was mostly a bunch of commons and sports games. I have more selection in my personal collection then they had in the entire store.

As a collector who has been visiting Destiny Games for the past several years, I still havent found any better place in Michigan to uncover a rare gem. They have used games at the best prices around and extremely knowledgeable staff. If you get a chance to meet the owner, he is great to deal with and loves what he does. You can find him many days playing a video game with a friend or staff member - a true gamer.

I love Destiny Games, not only do I get a fair value for my trade ins. I can take my 9 year old in there and he feels welcomed too. You also gotta love the lan center and being able to hang out and play few games. Destiny is my modern day arcade and I get to share it with my kid. That to me is priceless and makes them a cut above any other game retailer.

Ive been gaming since I was 6. I miss funcoland and original nintendo games and all that. This place is run by about the nerdiest people on the planet. I need nintendo controllers? They got it. Same with gamecube, super, etc. Basically they have everything I had to find on ebay before, its awesome. Bottom line a great place for video game supplies.

Been shopping here for years. The owner is often there and friendly, as is all of the staff. Always glad to help a small local businesses. A bunch of nerds to answer your questions. Theyll look things up for you and order whatever they can. My kids love the place. Cant really say enough. If theres a problem with something, they make it right.

This is the best place to go for retro games, no one has a comparable stock list nearby - the staff are friendly and helpful, and the owner is always happy to answer questions, make small talk, etc - they also keep harder to find retro video game items in stock more than other stores - I have had only (and many) good experiences!

Best place to go for games, systems, or parts. I have been to this store for the last several years and I wont go any place else. The staff is friendly, the prices are good, and I feel very comfortable going in. Its very family friendly...my kids love going there. Plus its easy for me to find games for my older systems.
