It is absolutely my pleasure to recommend Preusser Jewelers to anyone searching for expert advise, honest opinions, and jewelry that you will not easily find elsewhere. Let me begin by saying I am not a local, I live in New York City and was first introduced to Preussers from a family friend whose taste I admire greatly. I was shopping for engagement rings at the time, in 2010, and having an insane amount of trouble locating something unique, timeless, and brilliant. Upon recommendation, I called Preussers and spoke to Debra. Being my first large jewelry purchase, she was extremely patient and understanding of all my concerns and million questions before committing to purchase. What did I take away from that first interaction? The most loved piece of jewelry my wife owns, her engagement ring, which garners an incredible amount of attention for its unique setting, brilliance, and beauty. I have literally not seen the same ring anywhere, which says a lot, being that I am a New Yorker. I owe that to Preussers! When it came time to purchase a 30th birthday gift, Debra was the first person on my mind. I reached out to her with a few ideas- I wanted a 100 inch strand of ivory pearls. Debra immediately went to work, sending me images of her suggestions. When they were not exactly what I was searching for in color or length, Debra reached out to a supplier and found me EXACTLY what I was looking for. My wife wears them almost every day. Lastly, expecting the arrival of our first child this year, I was eager to contact Preussers to build a custom set of diamond stud earrings. Without hesitation, Debra immediately understood what my expectations would be and began sending me images of beautiful diamond pairs. One of the pairs I liked (not the least expensive of the sets she showed me, no less) Debra decided she was not entirely happy with (honesty from a retailer/sales, a rarity...) and asked that I give her another day to view pairs and see what we could come up with. Not even 12 hours later, I received an image of the most perfect pair of cushion cut diamonds! A third time, Debra and Preussers hit it out of the park! I was thrilled. In less than a week, they were set in platinum as I requested and ready to be sent. The beautiful light green packaging is now cherished in my home. Im proud to have these items to pass down in my family and wouldnt consider shopping elsewhere, without question.

Sent a ring in to be repaired as determined by Auto-Owners Insurance, under a jewelry policy. What I received after the repair was astonishingly poor workmanship. Replacement stone was poor quality, previous stone was fine quality. Ill see if I can add a photo to the review. I then fought with my insurance and brought the ring to my jeweler for a repair. It now cost 20% more to repair because the ring was now dented and damaged from the botched repair. Quite simply, this jeweler tried to pull a fast one. I had the repair looked at by two other jewelers and they were both astonished at what Preussers tried to pass as a repair. They also documented the damage and provided me with new repair assessments. I got a happy ending thanks to my persistence with my insurance and the help of a local jeweler. The poor quality, non-matching sapphire was returned to them and luckily I did get a refund for the work. My jeweler took care of the repair and it looks like new. While i did get things straightened out it took months, many e-mails, many more phone calls, and a lot of my time to resolve. Inspect things closely and document every detail when getting a ring repaired here (or anywhere really). The business might treat you well and resolve your complaints, but it doesnt mean youll get a talented jeweler working on your ring or an honest sales person.

I went to Preusser because they were one of only two jewelers on this side of the state who carried the line of engagement ring I was hellbent on getting. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they knew everything there was to know about the particular ring I was looking at. Lucky for me, I shopped around before I committed to a jeweler. Rogers & Hollands (Woodland Mall) had the exact same ring for 40% less! I saved $2,000. I truly have no ill words about Preusser Jewelers, but the numbers speak for themselves. Both jewelers are family-owned businesses in the area that I would have been happy to give my money to, but you cant argue with a $2,000 price difference. If Preusser had come in anywhere near R&H I would have gone with Preusser, but they werent even close.

I have known the Preusser people for over 20 years, and this has been my place to shop for jewelry. My wife has loved everything that has come from here. When she wanted a custom-made Mothers Ring for her own mom, Preussers created a masterpiece. I have nice watches from here, and so do my three sons (graduation presents). When the boys each got engaged in recent years, Preussers worked with them to create the perfect match for each bride. I would never think of going elsewhere--why risk good money to purchase something to enjoy for a lifetime? You will be treated special at Preussers, and the person you buy for will feel special. Simply put: Top quality. Honest people. Good pricing.

My engagement ring is from Preusser Jewelers. I get sooooo many compliments on it. I went into Kays to look for wedding bands the other day and 3 different employees were marveling over my ring and all 3 asked me if it was a Tacori!!! My husband and I picked out a diamond and left it in Preussers hands to get it mounted and they did an absolutely amazing job!! We recieved great customer service plus a ring that blows all the others out of the water at a better price than any jewelers!!

I was sent there to have a diamond that I lost replaced from my insurance company and the diamond is not near as nice as the one I lost. With all of the high end products they seem to carry, I thought I would get a good diamond, Several jewelers I showed my new diamond to said they have seen this before.
