My fiance and I have literally been in dozens of jewelry stores searching for the perfect ring. Chris had research diamonds and settings for months to no avail. We even started looking at pawn shops We drop in on one in PCB, and I happened to see an exquisite ring It had appraisal , but no paper work, but I saw that it was in a Reeds box. Never heard of them, so I googled Reeds and saw that was a well respected jewelry store Later that day, we just happened to park in front of Reeds Jewelers at Pier Park, so of course we went in to just to look. Hillary Turner greeted us with a warm smile . Her personality was a bright and colorful as her hair. She began showed us what she thought we would like and gave us several options. We left and came back 2-3 times and every time Hillary was happy to see us and answered ALL of our questions. Not once did we feel pressured or made to feel like we were taking up her time. She was very knowledgeable and perceptive. I could tell she loved her job and it showed. After spending what might have been hours, we purchase THE perfect ring, which happened to be the VERY first diamond that Hillary showed us.She knocked it out of the park. Reeds had a a jeweler on site to set the diamond and sized the ring for us. They had it ready for us the very next day. I can not express how happy we are. Hillary wasnt able to be there the next day, but she wrote a lovely note and left it in the bag. for us. It brought tears to my eyes when I read it. I found out later that she had only been working there for about a year to my amazement, because she conducted herself like a seasoned professional, which is a true reflection on manager. Chris and I have been in some of the finest jewelry stores from Atlanta to PCB and it was so refreshing to have someone who genuinely wants to help us and not just sale us a ring. Hillary and Jerome are amazing and I will never forget how wonderful they treated us and how they helped.us find the perfect ring. They arent salesmen. They are jewelers! Very friendly even after they ignore your requests and emails. They knew my price limit then sent me simulations of rings well outside my price range then talked me into blue diamond accents instead of sapphires (they claimed they would be similar, they were not) Under the pressure for a "deal that ended that day" (I checked online and the deal didnt end that day) I bought the ring then felt it was all wrong hours later so I emailed and asked them to please cancel the order, they refused to address my concerns then emailed me days later plainly saying they were working on the ring. After further back and forth and them claiming I was trying to return it (even tho I still hadnt received the ring and had asked that they cancel it within hours of ordering it) they offered me a $200 credit, which they claimed was a big deal and all they could do. I was irritated but tired of dealing with them and my planned date was coming up so i went and picked it up (they never gave me $200 credit! So my issue is this, even tho they are friendly and always cheerful, they arent as personal as they claim. They didnt offer to correct what i wasnt happy with, instead they just tried to push they product. And this was even more evident when their manager bragged about how many rings they sold over the holidays while i was picking mine up (Though we had had met in person and had conversations via email he didnt recognise me) and the cherry on top is the last time i called they said they would have him call me back, he never did. I like the idea of privately owned and military friendly businesses (I am military) but i will never do business with this store again!

I had been trying to get a ring somewhere else and after 4 months they told me they could not do the ring I wanted. After walking around, my boyfriend and I decided to stop in at Reeds. Right away i seen a ring I liked but i wanted it custom made. Blake helped me immediately and told me i could have the ring i wanted, exactly how i wanted. within a month my ring was in and it is so perfect. Everyone at Reeds have been the biggest blessing. They have excellent customer service and they let you know how important you are to them. Ill never go anywhere else when it comes to jewelry.
