Une visite à Detroit nest pas complète sans passer par cette superbe boutique qui présente toute la gamme de produits de la marque Shinola, où tout est "Fabriqué à Detroit". Ici vous trouverez des montres haut de gamme, de la maroquinerie (portefeuilles, sacs, etc.) de superbes vélos, etc., bref, des objets de luxe entièrement fabriqués à Detroit. Et pour les curieux, un petit café. Un incontournable.

Excellent watches at good prices. People that comment that the watches are expensive do not know what an expensive watch is. A watch that is hand assembled in the USA out of Swiss parts and sells for $600 is a bargain. You could expect to pay several thousands of dollars for a watch of this quality. They come with a lifetime warranty, also. There is a short list of items that are not on the warranty, including batteries. But if you are lucky enough to live near the factory, you can just bring your watch in and they will replace the battery for free. No other watch maker does this.

The Shinola store is at the heart of the resurgent midtown Detroit, and they were the early core around which other cool shops and restaurants gathered. That alone is worth a good review, but the real reason theyre so popular in Detroit right now is their watches - a large variety assembled in the city of Detroit, and their bicycles - classic cruisers. Both the watches and bicycles are attractive, well made, and guaranteed to invite the question "Hey, is that a Shinola?"

Golden Rules of Wine and Travel

Visiting Shinola was not apart of our original shopping plan, but the crafting of everything in their flagship store was basically singing to us from outside. There was a huge, framed American flag (with 48 stars), gorgeous bikes, a raw juice bar, periodicals, awesome watches, journals and other accessories. Yes, yes, yes. I wanted everything. I still want everything. Ill have you yet, Shinola!

Had help from Renee Thompson today and a lot of help from another young lady that I think her name was Renee as well at the Detroit mid town store. I bought a white Detroit Arrow bicycle and a ladies watch as raffle prizes for a charitable event I am helping to facilitate. These ladies where awesome! Great experience today. Will go back to see them at some point and buy some more stuff.

This place is urban fashion Disneyland. Its hard to convince oneself that anything in the store can possibly be worth the prices they charge, but theres no denying that the wallets, bags, and bikes are handsome and fashionable. The bikes and watches are assembled in store. If youve got the time, also check out the coffee shop in the corner. Its probably the best one on the street.

Everyone was extremely pleasant. I had a wonderful chat with a young women who worked there while waiting for my coffee. The barista informed me that they were out of Chai (to his surprise) and apologized. He made me a different drink instead and refunded my entire purchase! I was so shocked. He was awesome. My replacement drink was amazing. I had to leave him a tip.

Very pleasant shopping experience. The staff is very helpful. I bought their turntable. Ive been into turntables for twenty-plus years and the Shinola Runwell Turntable is definitely the best table Ive owned. Its a work of art. While youre there be sure to try the Shinola Cola. I wish there was somewhere close to where I live that sold it.

Amazing store, staff is beyond helpful and very attentive. Brought my watch for a minor repair and they made it for free. Watches are incredible and leather goods beautiful, the store itself its amazing. Spend some time today at the cafe and the hot chocolate is amazing. Making Detroit great again one step at a time. I love this store and have brought many friends here already. The prices are high, but if you dont plan to buy anything you can just walk around, enjoy the designs and see how things are made. They have chairs and serve very good coffee so if you like to sit there and sketch or write, you would feel comfortable in this place.

Cute store, very friendly helpful staff and fabulous watches - what more could you ask for! Went in to buy a gift ended up buying a watch for a gift and one for myself. Watches are beautiful - packaging and gift wrapping top notch! My next purchase will be a bike. Go check them out you wont be disappointed!

Gorgeous showroom that pays homage to Detroits long heritage for handcrafted goods: leather bound journals, shiny copper bicycles, and handsome timepieces. Theres a cafe in site and plenty of sales associates to answer your questions. You can monogram your purchase for free.

This place is so cool. Great coffee, cool merchandise ranging from watches to bicycles to mechanical pencils. Everyone is really nice, almost to a fault. They also host a lot of fun events including occasional DJs. Great place to shop or just simply hang out.

I just bought the worst cup of coffee in my life lucky it only cost me $3.30 gave two stars because the two gentlemen who friendly coffee was bitter just not good it was a pour over and it wasnt very hot buyer beware
