Being Healthy enough to purchase a modern bike was such a blessing , then the task of BIKE SHOPPING! Well I did my due diligence & checked out 6 different places to buy a bike, plus I have passed this little shop in Centerline countless times...finally went in last Wednesday & who is the owner...? 40 year + Bike Salesmen extraordinaire Denny Norman [ he sold me my 1st 10 speed bike at Allied Bike in 1975 , in East Detroit] He recognized me, asked what I was shopping for, I replied comfort & forward pedaling & 7 speeds He had several to choose from, and a long street & alley for a test ride. Loved 2 of them for sure! & went home to discuss is with the Bride since she also wanted a bike. As I mentioned above , once we had the prices from Eastside, warranties & follow up , we still checked prices & the like at 6 other places, we came back on 6-15-12 at 4:30pm and we were one of 8 people riding & testing bikes, made our final selection. Also noteworthy was neither of us wanted the chore of maintaining & cleaning whitewalls , so Denny swapped out the tires at NO CHARGE & upgraded us to Cloud 9 seats. The bikes were ready for pick up Saturday & he adjusted & fitted us both properly & encouraged us to come back in 45 days for some running adjustments. Mrs Norman, Steve [ the son ] & Denny Blessed & Impressed us so very much! NOTE: Beyond new bikes , he has some cool collectibles , esp the 36 inch Monster Cruiser. NOTE: If you belong to or support the Lions Club, Denny is a 40 year member

Based on the recommendation of a friend, today my husband and I bought two bikes at Eastside Bike Shop - a silver blue Schwinn and a maroon Nishiki. Denny welcomed us into his shop, helped us find frames that were the right height for each of us, and then even checked the brakes and tire pressure once more before we left. He was a pleasure to talk with and learn from, and we know that if we have any problems, we can go back and he will help us - a perfect customer experience.

they didnt help me by fixing my chain and it was rusted just because I needed to get a new bike thats so harsh but I cant find a new bike store but I said it giveth Pornstar and the people who work there are me when you have nice has been to both something up my bike they said no you to get a new bike instead is so harsh

What a place! I only spent $25 here that but the owner treated us like VIP. Needed new bearings for my sons one piece crank and some tools to tear apart the assembly. New and used bikes. And he does full repairs and upgrades! Centerline sure has a gem here.
