I grew up in the area...always stopped in when I was a kid (20 plus years ago..and they were a Schwinn dealer) but its been a while since Ive been in. Stopped in Saturday to look at a new bike for me and the Mrs. Talked to Mike. He took about 1/2 hour or so and explained features, what they meant compared to other bikes, asked questions and listened intently. Test rode a couple of bikes...and we figured out what we were missing. Went home, did our research, came back on Sunday and bought two bikes and some gear. Mike was off, Mr. Radke (spelling? Sorry...) said Alex could take care of us and he absolutely did. Within an hour or so of showing up, we put our two brand new bikes with accessories mounted on the back of our Jeep and off we went. As we waited, several employees asked if we could be helped or if there was anything they could do. They werent aware we were waiting on our bikes being assembled and adjusted. Blue Cross/Blue Shield Discount on the bikes and 10% accessories helped out as well. Free tune ups for the life of the bike, etc., etc., etc., This shop not only met our goals and needs, they exceeded them by far! Looking forward to joining the crew in a few rides and looking forward to more shopping and experiences with Macomb Bike. Theres a reason theyve been around since the mid 70s. Family. Im happy to be a new member. Thank you for the excellent service.

I have been coming here the last 9 months or so since my brother had gotten me into cycling. The ownership and staff are very knowledgable and friendly. No matter what questions I come in with, they are always there to answer to my satisfaction. The level of customer service they have is the reason most of my purchases are made there and not online(even if I would save a few bucks, it is worth keeping a local bike shop around). I purchased a DS 8.6 and many accessories during bike night 2016, it was a great event. We got there early to beat the crowd (well we did not beat it, everyone else had the same idea). I appreciated the fact that as I was building my list for the purchase, i could stop in and add things, and they would add it to my bill and either order it for me or or place it in a bag (then later a box) for me. Even though bike night had a large attendance, I felt the customer service was still top notch. All the sales associates would walk past and see if there was anything they could help me with. Again, I cannot say enough about the team at Macomb Bike. If you are just looking for a bike and savings, you can go anywhere, but if you are looking for a place that will give you that personalized shopping experience, stop in, you will be a customer for life, I know I am.

What a great experience. I had been going to American Cycle & Fitness , and after two major tune ups couldnt correct my problems with sprocket skipping and gears rubbing American Cycle & Fitness told me I needed new rear sprockets and gear changer. So I started shopping for a new bike and stopped by Macomb Bike and Fitness. I explained my bikes problems and the folks at Macomb told me my bike probably just needed some adjustments. So I dropped off my bike the next week and true to their word, they fixed my bike, and for a very reasonable cost. No new parts required, just adjustment and tuning that American Cycle & Fitness couldnt seem to get right. Im an avid fitness cyclist, and a new bike would have dropped me $2,000 to $3,000 and the fix recommended by American would have cost close to $600. To say the least I now have a new bike shop, and highly recommend Macomb Bike and Fitness.

This bike shop came highly recommended by my dear friend who got me into cycling. Its kind of far from my house, but it is 100% worth every trip. First, they have GREAT sales and I got my bike and EVERYTHING else 20% off on one of their biker nights - a total steal. Then, when they couldnt find the shorts that I bought, one of the staff took the time to bring them to my work the next day. Finally, I crashed my bike 2 months into owning it and they fixed it FAST and didnt charge me. This bike shop is out of this world. Its full of knowledgeable staff, great bikes and gear and their customer service is outstanding.

Just purchased my 2013 madone 2.1 at a great price 1.199 sales Man Alex ,, was great,got me everything I wanted ND wasnt pushy or IMpassioned he stayed after hours to help me.png negative to this trip was I was a little disappointed that they didnt give Mr any freebies.after my bike and all my gear it cost 1.889 ,a jersy or free hat would have locked me in as a faithful customer but over all I give this shop 4stars out of 5

Generally good service; I have found that I need to make a point of calling them to follow-up on service, rather than wait for them to call me back, as on two separate occasions now Ive been told Ill get a call back regarding service and/or warranty and didnt. Still, when I call them to do the follow-up, theyre friendly and courteous and do what they can to accommodate my needs.

Awesome experience shopping here, they were very busy, but it didnt impact their service at all. You could see that the employees were having fun and were passionate about their work. I like that they offer lifetime basic tune-ups on their bikes. I also went in for the 30 day check up, they did a great job making the adjustments I requested and answered all of my questions.

This place is GREAT! They know their stuff and talk with you professionally no matter what your level of bike knowledge is. They dont try and pressure you into spending any more money than you are comfortable with. Bottom line, they treat you with respect and know their industry well! Oh ya, and if you purchase a bike from them, LIFETIME FREE Maintenance on that bike!

I visited there twice in the past month to purchase accessories. Both times, they were very helpful. I bought a floor-sample handlebar basket that was missing a couple of parts for the mounting bracket. They gave me a whole new set of brackets plus all of the parts! And the seat they helped me pick out was way more comfortable than my old one. Cant complain!

Hands down the best bike shop around. They are always so helpful and nice. Im a big fan of Trek bikes and they sell the best. I cant say enough about how helpful they are and accommodating. If you live in the area, make this your LBS and you wont be disappointed!

I consider this my LBS even though its about 45 minutes away from my house. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Im treated the way I try and treat others, with respect and kindness. There are several bike shops closer to me, but I choose MBF everytime.

Awesome place to buy biking gear and get your bikes fixed up. I found a cute little basket for my cycle and it was installed quickly. The best part is that the basket can be removed and taken with you! Came in handy many times.
