The Service department is phenomenal! I bought a dirtbike brand new off of the showroom floor and had problems with it from day one, which wasnt any fault of the dealer. The bike didnt want to start nor did it want to stay running once it did finally start. I brought the bike into the service department where a tech was able to confirm the difficulty of getting it started and how it struggled to stay running. It didnt take too much time for them to correct the problem and now the bike is running perfectly. The Service Manager Frank went above and beyond to make sure my issue was resolved to my satisfaction as it caused a lot of frustration for me, the bike was brand new and a gift for my wife... its really embarrassing to bring a brand new bike home to surprise someone and it doesnt want to start or stay running. Id say that Frank definitely exceeded my expectations from a service department. It gives you a good feeling when the employees recognize you when Ive only been there a couple times. I was able to meet a few of the technicians that work there and every single one of them greeted me with a friendly smile and were extremely courteous. They show that they truly care about their customers and arent just trying to flip a quick buck and shove you out the door. Everybody I talked to were knowledgeable and seemed to have some real experience. Even the young guy that sits at the service counter (sorry I forgot your name) impressed me with how knowledgeable he was with this particular model dirtbike. This was my first experience with this Service Department and I almost always do my own work and normally not a fan of paying a dealer for service work, but since the bike was bought brand new from there and am very limited on available free time these days, I had to give them a chance. I will for sure be coming back in the future for any other work I need done and can honestly say for the first time that I have a Service Department that I can trust! Again big shout out to the Service Manager Frank, he truly did more than he should have to make sure I was satisfied with the service done on my bike after all the frustration it caused for me.

Absolute worst service experience Ive ever had. I took my GSXR here to have them look at a starting issue I was having. I told the service advisor the work I had already done and he said his first impression was that the bike had a short and that he thought his guy could figure it out and estimated three days. After 5 days I still hadnt heard from them, called up and it still wasnt done. It ended up taking ten days from the time I dropped it off for it to be "done." Then, I show up to pick it up and the technician had not done the work I had took it in for, he had only done the same brief checks I had done and told me it was fine, same as I told them. I told them to keep it and find the short, the service tech told me that they didnt know anything else to do and that it wasnt worth their time to keep looking at it. Then they charged me $100 for the work that I asked them not to do in order to get it back. I argued but ending up paying in order to leave with it. I pulled out of the parking lot and the bike died in traffic a half mile down the road. I looked over it and they had knocked the tipover sensor off, it was hanging from the bike. I put it back on, rode off and the bike still didnt make it the ten miles home, even though it was running fine when I dropped it off. I rode it for a few days, the battery kept dying but would work fine fresh off the charger. I took it to another shop, they charged me $50 because the guy at Rosenau left the stator unplugged and thats why it was dying. In addition, running the bike without it plugged in killed the battery so $80 for that. All in all, it cost me $230 and three weeks of prime riding time to deal with them, and they still havent responded to my request for a refund. These guys are amateurs, and all theyre worried about is making a quick buck. Go someplace else. Anywhere else.

My experience with this dealership has been 50% good, 50% bad. Decided to have my 2001 R6 stored here and worked on over the winter since I didnt have storage options. Got it back in the spring with paperwork saying they completed all recalls, cleaned carbs, and rebuilt my fuel petcock. Rode my bike to Lansing when the front sprocket nut came off (item was recalled for this reason) and cracked my engine case. Didnt realize till I reached my destination and by then, oil was all over my rear tire. This was definitely a life threatening situation. After I towed the bike back, I had the bike apart and obviously found the crack. While deciding a gameplan for the cracked case, I removed my tank in order to check the spark plugs and found that the petcock still leaked. After calling them, they told me that the new one was still sitting on their bench, so they never installed it. Lead me to wonder if they ever cleaned the carbs. Basically, charged me $1000 for services not done and also rendered my engine destroyed. Took up this case with them and after some discussion, they agreed to write me a check for $100 more than my bike was worth at the time. I initially wrote a 1 star review for them and got a personal call from the manager who wanted to clarify if I was 100% satisfied. I appreciated the contact and the earnestness to improve their business. Also learned that the technician that had been negligent toward my vehicle had been fired and service management had changed. I did feel compensated at the time but it was way more crap I had to wade through than I wanted. Its made it difficult for me to trust any other dealership for sure. However, Im glad theyre making an effort to change things for the better!

WATCH THE FINANCE DEPT! I told him I had a bad experience before with Metro Powersports (closed now) due to being signed up for gap and life insurance as well as extended warranty equaling out to $8100 all without my knowledge. Long story short I made sure this time around I wasnt going to be blindsided after I read over contract with a fine tooth comb. Even after telling him all this he tried to repeat the same B.S. as metro! I quickly responded with whats this? He said he explained it to me already (of course not) said "he had to put that in there or he wouldnt make any money on the deal". "Not my problem you quoted me a price and I will walk" I responded with. So he was annoyed and said he had to go talk to his boss and rewrite the contract again with much frustration all over his face and voice. He left and I saw him walk down to service area and walk back to me with out even speaking to someone(which I knew was a b.s. line) and said. "Alright fine I can do it". Moral of the story folks is they are all like this! Motorcycle purchases are not like cars (i.e. a priority vehicle) for so many people in Michigan so they are not worried about repeat business. Take your time and read EVERYTHING. Dont assume they will do what you "were told" theyd do til its in ink.
