Yesterday, was the first time I have been to this location since it first opened & oh my gosh what a difference time has made. It was an absolute nightmare. I recently moved to this area & took my fiancee with me because its the closest location near us. I told him how nice it was. What a joke! The place was so crowded you could barely get through the store but the worst part was that it was so dirty. There was trash everywhere, some of their products were not in the proper places, items were open, produce didnt look fresh & they had about seven registers opened. The line was so long & the cashier was extremely slow. We literally were in line for an hour. It was a horrible experience. It is not just the employees. The customers didnt care about throwing things back on shelves, pushing their way through people & just being rude. There was one employee who worked in the health/ beauty section who was very friendly & helpful other than that it was horrible. I was so embarrassed because I had told my fiancee this location was closer & nice. He obviously now things Im crazy. I also saw a review on here were a black woman talked about how bad it was but felt it was because the Arabic & black community just were not getting the same treatment at other suburban communities. I strongly disagree. Yes, I am a white woman but I am not racist. I have seen some of the same things at the Taylor location with the employees & customers. I believe its simply based on how some people choose to behave no matter what your nationality is but from what I saw they had the same amount of stock/products as many other locations. I dont blame her for not wanting to shop here. Any descent human being wouldnt but I do believe the customers need to be held accountable for their actions as well. I am disabled & had an extremely hard time walking through the store. People cut in front of me, pushed their way around me & literally were irritated because I walk with a cane. Wal-Mart corporation needs to send people out to this location & get in under control. It is the companys responsibility to make sure their employees are doing their jobs but they also need security to enforce the rules when customers are out of line. Needless to say we will not be shopping at this location again.

If youve never been before, plan ahead and make a day trip out of it. Because trust me, it will be longer than you expect. I usually plan how long my shopping experience will be by using a factor of about .5 to .75 to multiply time shopping to find my time waiting in the checkout lines. Similar to waiting in a line for the best ride at a theme park, if you want the best check out employee, you have to wait in the longest line, as other lines are often at a standstill for half an hour. As you fight your way though some Detroits finest to get into a "line" you will witness some of the most interesting visuals and hear some of the most intellectual conversations of your superstore experiences. Watching on the clock employees sitting down near registers while cruising Facebook or Instagram while there are literally hundreds of people in line to check out is very entertaining. During this pleasurable shopping experience Im usually asked for spare change in the parking lot both to and from the store. I give 2 stars because its a Walmart and their prices are dirt cheap for stuff I regularly eat. I subtract three stars for the horrific management, which I honestly believe a 14 year old could out perform. Quick tip!!! If you are coming to the store with a friend or family member, one of the two should go directly into one of the checkout lines while the other goes to shop , when done shopping usually when you get to the checkout line your friend will be about halfway through the line , thus cutting down your in-store experience by roughly 1/3 time.

Went into store to get something for a vacume cleaner that they said they had on the phone and when we got there they did not have it. I also bought on that same day some air freshener and a phone system. I checked out in electronics where there was no line at first but the lady behind the counter was talking to some guy whom we thought was a customer and he was not. The lady behind the counter finally asked if we needed something after at least 5 mins of watching her talk to some guy. I finally get waited on and she starts to scratch and sniff all of my glade plug in refills. She says "oh I dont like that one". I was shocked!! (I thought I dont care what you like... Im buying it.) Then I give her a Discover card to check out with and she rings it all up and after the transaction she asks me for ID. I mean come on now you should have asked for it before. She was harassing me. In the meantime the line is getting longer and longer. We had other items too but we left them in the cart and left the store after that. The store is filthy too. It looks like a disaster area. I hate this Walmart and will never go there again. Just awful... :( It needs zero stars!!! Oh and Dearborn is not Detroit!!! They are not suppose to be Ghetto. If you want to be Ghetto then go to Detroit where there are no Walmarts because it is a Ghetto. it is 2014!! Lets be civilized and do your JOBS. thats what you get paid for.

Horrible customer service. Associates are rude, unhelpful and just plain ghetto. I came into the store with the intent of purchasing a TV stand. The TV stands had no price tag. This place is literally crawling and over crowded with all these employees just sitting around or standing around gossiping and chatting mindlessly. We had to call on nearly 6 associates(each of them claiming it wasnt their dept) before one of them told us that they were out of stock. Why display them if they are all out of stock? Also, if you care about your health, do NOT buy food from here. The restrooms are nasty as hell. Blocked toilets, dirty stalls, NO TISSUE OR HAND DRYERS meaning their employees are probably walking around with dirty hygiene. Finally, the lines at the checkout are ridiculously long. Expect to spend anywhere from 30 to 45 mins there. And no, thats not an exaggeration. To keep things short, I would not tell my worst enemy to go here. You would be better off making the extra trip to the Walmart in Troy.

Simply disgusting. The burgers at this filthy establishment had me vomiting chunky blood for 2 or so hours, I actually thought death was on its way. The server spit in my face then told me he hopes I die in a ditch, I was too shocked to respond when he placed a dead over cooked rat on a filthy plate in front of my face. It wreaked of urine and had to of been dead for at least a week or two. I asked for a burger with ketchup, not a diseased rat carcass. Not only that, but the walls were caked in a greasy yellow-brown paste, the place smelled of a mixture of charcoal and toxins. It made me deathly sick, but I was so hungry I bit into the roasted rats fat stomach. To my dismay, it tasted like death. I contracted at least 32 diseases just by making physical contact with the dead animal. Im writing this from the bathroom as I continue to vomit from that rat. No words describe my hatred for walmart, worst restaurant ive ever been to.
