This store has no concern for the elderly and handicapped. They do little maintenance on the electric carts. The Battery alert light has been removed from the older carts. Carts are not kept plugged in and very few carts are actually available. I often must return home without groceries and personal items because there are no carts available. On one recent trip I was told by a manager that there were 10 carts plugged in and ready. When I went to get one I found only 5 carts and of those two were out of service and none of the others were plugged in and/or charged. There are no Greeters in this store and apparently no one is assigned to keep the carts charged and maintained. Carts at the Grocery side of the store are lined up so that none can be accessed without pulling out the ones in line ahead of them which is often impossible to do. Once, the first cart in the line was missing a wheel and could not be moved. Most of the time the first cart has no charge. The manager is inaccessible. He will not speak to me in the store or on the phone. I have even been told by an associate that the associate cannot even speak to him. I am older and am handicapped. I have shopped in many different Wal-Marts and this store has the worst service by managers of any of the several I have shopped in throughout the South. This is a shame as the store has many good products that I need and many others that I do buy. I have been struggling for well over a year and a half to shop in this store. I know of no other store in the area with electric carts and such a wide range of products. Today I came home without groceries because the only charged cart I could find failed before I made it to the grocery section from the pharmacy area. I have had the same experience countless times in this store. There is one other Wal-Mart here but I quit shopping there a few years ago when they removed their benches and I had no place to wait for an electric cart. I will have to try there again but I am not too hopeful because I have had the same problems with the carts in that store.

I have always visited this Walmart and have appreciated the way that the employees have treated the customers. After tonight, however, I do not feel the same about some employees. After a long day, my wife wanted to go by Walmart to find her a new pair of shorts for our long-awaited beach trip. She found a few a pair (4) and went to try on the shorts. It wasnt within a few minutes, that a lady, by the name of Jessica appeared, as my wife exited to show me the first pair and to see if I liked them. Jessica said, "Mam, it is after hours." "You need to get out of the fitting room." My wife replied with, "Oh, it is?" "I am sorry." "I did not know." Then, my wife went back into the fitting room to change back into her clothes. It wasnt within a few seconds that another lady came up and told my wife, through the door, "It is after hours and you need to get out off the fitting room. " My wife responded with, "A kay just came back and told me." "I am ttying to get my clothes back on." The lady then looked at me, as I was standing there trying to explain that a lady was just here and that my wife had just closed the door to change back into her clothes and said, "Well, the fitting room is closed and ita up the security if she doesnt get out of there before they get here." Clearly, this was not the way to handle the situation. You do NOT EVER be rude to your customers in any form or fashion, if you would like to keep your job. If it is after hours, why not post hours for the fitting room to be available or be a GOOD and WORKING employee by being sure all fitting room doors are locked when hours are over for the day? I am not sure what the name of the second lady was because i did not get a clear view of the name tag. The fitting room my wife entered was unlocked when she approached it, by the way.

This Walmart was kind of trashy. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one was because the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, this store was not clean, and it was not maintained well. I went to use the bathroom and it reeked of smoke, and I dont think it was cigarette smoke either. Im just going to point out that there were a lot of sketchy people. I know that is not Walmarts fault, its just Valdosta. Lets just say this isnt the store where you want to end up turning around to find your kid missing. I would go to this store if I had to, but I personally prefer a Whole Foods or Publix.

Unbelievable that you cant return a pair of shorts without a drivers license smh...We had traveled from North Georgia the day before. Our combined family of 11 had been provided a ride from the motel to a local water park. Made a quick stop at Walmart when learning we needed to exchange an item of clothing before enjoying the park. Unfortunately Walmart could make no exceptions for not having identification to exchange a $7.00 pair of shorts. We took our business elsewhere, and will make a note to return to that specific Walmart again when we make our twice yearly vacations to Valdosta.

The employees at this WalMart are horrible. I have never seen such disrespectful staff members on the clock at their job. Not only do they not help you but they will roll their eyes at you, suck their teeth, and act downright rude! And not to mention when you are in search for an employee to help assist you, you can usually find them standing around (not doing their job clearly) with a group of other employees laughing and horseplaying loudly. Even the managers are questionable on their authority over the employees ridiculous behavior.

Consistently the worst Walmart Ive ever seen. Thats saying a lot since Ive been to stores where murders, robberies and parking lot shootings have taken place yet Norman Drive is still THE worst...and they still dont care. The employees sit in the dark Subway shop after it closes and cackle at the customers as they go by...paying customers who keep them employed...as if the customers cant hear or see them behind the glass. So low grade and unprofessional but this is what you can expect from the Norman Drive Walmart.

Very poor. I live a good distance from this store. Called to ask about a product in the pet dept. to see if they had it available. Transferred to someone who didnt seem to know much of anything about it. Had to spell it twice. Was put on hold for a very long time. I eventually had to hang up. I think this associate intended to waste my time on the phone so that I would hang up. I think management of this store needs to see to it that their staff gets proper training on how to handle phone calls.
