Horrible customer service at this location. Its like a ghost town in there. I went a couple of times over the past few months to give them another chance and Im sorry I did. One of my stops I saw 2 employees unpacking a box to stock shelves. They were the only employees I could find to ask a question to. I asked them where something was located. They never even looked up as one of the two answered by simply pointing and telling me where it was. No eye contact or anything. She continued to just look into the box and make it sound like it was really irritating there was actually a customer there. I think I was the only customer in the entire store yet they didnt care about making a sale or helping. I went there one more time to buy some pants because Kohls, my first choice, was out of my size in the color I wanted. I was next in line and it took at least 5 minutes of the lady talking to someone on the phone before she decided to let me approach and pay. She tried to charge me double for the pants and only lowered it to the sale price when I told her it was on sale. She explained she could only give me the sale price if I entered my phone number. ??? Why not give people the sale price stated on all the racks or at least tell them about entering their phone number before trying to charge them double? I promised myself Id never buy from them again. I got home and realized the quality of the pants were horrible. I went back another day to return them. I was in a hurry to get somewhere else, but had enough time to run in, return it and get out. It was on my way to my other appointment. Guess what? Even the return process was horrible! After waiting 5 or more minutes in line, they couldnt get the register to do my return my pants. The manager took me all the way back through the employees only door past other offices, storage rooms, etc. to her office in the far back of the store. In all the years Ive been shopping Ive never been asked to go all the way to the back offices of a store to return something. Her register in the back also wouldnt let me return it. She called corporate and they said they didnt know what was going on either. Rather than just giving me cash back instead of crediting my card, I was told Ive have to come back another day. So now Im probably up to an hour or more with my buying the pants and trying to return the pants Sears experience. .... and I have to go back again to try to get my money back. That will take even more of my time up. Im considering just donating the pants and cutting my losses. I told the manager that Id given Sears so many chances and each shopping experience was horrible and that it would be my last time shopping there. She sounded like she heard it all the time. UPDATE: I went back to Sears to try to return my pants for the second time. It took 15 or more minutes of another manager to try to get me a refund. After he came out from the back office he said he had to do it some way he wasnt supposed to do and "If it ever happens again, I wont be able to help.". So, if YOUR system messes up, Im out of luck? It wasnt my fault, but you are trying to make it sound like it is? I told him it would never happen again because Id never be shopping there again. He replied with a snobby "Thanks!". I didnt want to get into with him, but wanted to ask if hed continue shopping at someplace with horrible customer service that told you if their system messed up youd be stuck with anything you need to return because they couldnt help fix their own mess again? Anyone that works at Sears must feel like they are an employee on the Titanic after it hit the iceberg. Customers are jumping off their ship to take a boat to a better place or die as they try to stick with them. Their ship continues to sink and they dont seem to want to fix it. When the managers are making customers come back instead of fixing an issue the first time and then making the customers feel like its their fault for the Sears mix-up, its sad. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Sears!

Took my car here for battery change. I could hardly find anyone on the shop floor. Went it to check with the registrar. 1. He tried to rip me off saying the battery was hard to install specially in my car and would charge me $30 for installation. Had to made him understand when he dropped those charges from quote. 2. Mentioned to him about 15 min battery change coupon but he turned it down saying its only for some cars. It wasnt mentioned anything on coupon if its car specific and I wonder which car batteries are difficult to install. 3. The mechanic was on phone the whole time and had to complain to registrar about it. If not for bad weather and running low on time, I would have changed it on my own or shouldve probably went to another part store instead. Wasted an hour and would not recommend anyone to go here for any work.

I went here with my father on a Saturday morning to find a new pair of shoes for me. We were impressed by the large quantity and cleanliness of the store. After deciding on a pair of shoes, we went to a nearby checkout kiosk, where we had two helpful employees waiting, though they did try to solicit us for Sears related offers, which we were not interested in. Afterwards, we visited the electronics department to look for a TV to put into my future dorm room. We were assisted by a man who discussed the different brands and their performance. I must say that for me, its rare to receive this kind of customer service, so it was very helpful to hear what he had to say. Though it was not very busy that early in the day, I must say it was a delightful time being at this Sears location and I hope to be back soon.

This store is not crowded, it is clean and the atmosphere is quite welcoming. I can find everything I need, both high and medium end. i have gotten some great sales there, even deals that were unexpected. I once found some gadgets at super low rates (I came home loaded for almost nothing) Too bad that all the other businesses left, but I hope Sears stays forever. The new Walmart is no match. sears merchandise is quite superior. I hate crowded malls, and Sears at Livonia provides me the joy of going shopping without the hustle and bustle of people hanging out and probably not buying a thing.

Worst customer service. I purchased a washer and dryer. The top of the dryer gasket was broken. Gave us a gas dryer, instead of an electric.I had called to speak to the manager Frank four times, and even went in and left a handwritten letter for him to call me back. No response at all! Made an even bigger mistake and purchased our refrigerator, stove, and microwave from there. Went to pick it up and they sold our refrigerator to someone else after it was already paid for.
